Abstract

The enforced disappearance in Egypt occurred in 2013 after the military coup by Abdel Fattah al-Sisi against the previous President, Muhammad Mursi. Coercive actions were taken by the state to protect state security including acts of enforced disappearance. The data shows that there have been 1176 cases of enforced disappearances from 2013 to 2017. However, Egypt is a democratic country by regulationand also recognizes individual freedom in the constitution. This research aims to determine how the influence of the leadership factors of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on enforced disappearance cases in Egypt. For analyzing the influence of leadership factors, this research use Behavioral theory with qualitative method and descriptive research by using literature review. The result will explain how the leadership of Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is formed and can influence enforced disappearance cases in Egypt.

Abstract

Drawing on a multimodality theory, this study attempted to investigate the various semiotic resources utilized by a giant Indonesian cigarette company, Sampoerna, and explore how these resources communicate meanings or messages in its billboard advertisements to persuade its potential customers to buy the product. The data were analyzed using Halliday’s systemic functional grammar focusing on ideational meta-function or also known as a representational function in multimodal discourse analysis. The findings revealed that the billboard advertisements were designed to persuade the audience to buy the advertised products implicitly through representational functions attained using narrative and conceptual processes. Whereas the former was realized by employing its typical sub-processes, actional and reactional processes, the latter employed its sub-processes such as classificational, analytical, and symbolic processes. Implicationally, this study has illuminated the possible application of systemic functional grammar within multimodal discourse analysis domain to investigate implicit message(s) conveyed by an advertisement.

Abstract

The value of intelligence is related to critical, logical, creative thinking.  Social values are related to rights and obligations, a sense of responsibility, and an attitude of tolerance.  Religious values related to the spiritual, world and hereafter affairs, lead humans to behave in a moral, virtuous, and be in the way of God.  The value of independence is related to making decisions, self-confidence, being responsible for what is done.  The value of patience is related to not being irritable, not being hopeless, not being heartbroken, and being calm in the face of trials.  The results of General Soedirman's Film study can be used as an alternative teaching material in learning biographical text material at the high school level because there is conformity with the Basic Competencies (KD) "15.1 Reveal interesting things and can be emulated from the characters".  This is seen from the ability of students who can express interesting things and can be emulated from figures from the biography of General Sudirman and able to determine the didactic values contained in the film General Sudirman.  So it can be concluded that the film General Soedirman can be used as an alternative teaching material in biographical text material.

Abstract

Abstract: Previous research said that environmental sensitivity in students and adult give effect to forming citizenship behavior. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between environmental education and local wisdom that is taught to the children in shaping the environmental sensitivity of sasak tribe of Desa Sasak Ende Lombok West Nusa Tenggara. The research was conducted quantitatively by using questionnaires to 10 respondents representing 30 heads of households. Based on the results obtained Pearson r-value of 0.868 with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 or less than 0.05 It shows that there is a positive relationship between environmental sensitivity and the local wisdom behavior of early childhood Keywords: environmental sensitivity, local wisdom, sasak tribe, early childhood. Abstrak: Penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa environmental sensitivity pada peserta didik dan orang dewasa berperan dalam pembentukan perilaku bijak terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antaraenvironmental sensitivity dengan perilaku pelestarian kearifan lokal pada anak usia dini yang diajarkan di keluargamasyarakat suku sasak Desa Sasak Ende Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 10 responden yang mewakili 30 keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil diperoleh nilai r Pearson sebesar 0,868 dengan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 atau kurang dari 0,05 sehingga ada hubungan positif antaraenvironmental sensitivity dengan perilaku pelestarian kearifan lokal pada anak usia dini. Abstract

Ada beberapa masalah yang teridentifikasi dari fenomena pengajian malam sabtu di Masjid Al Ikhlas Desa Tanjung Selamat. Pertama, bagaimana respon masyarakat terhadap pengajian rutin malam Sabtu di masjid Al Ikhlas. Kedua, waktu nya terlalu singkat sehingga rasanya kurang dalam mendapatkan ilmu agama. Adapun yang ketiga, Ibu-ibu dan bapak- bapak memberi arahan agar waktu untuk mengaji di malam Sabtu dapat di perpanjang .Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui respon masyarakat terhadap pengajian yang di adakan di Masjid Al Ikhlas setiap malam Sabtu selesai magrib. Metode deskriptif yaitu metode yang digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang aktual dengan cara mengumpulkan data kemudian mengklasifikasikan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara pertama observasi, yaitu mengamati objek secara langsung, kedua wawancara, ketiga angket yaitu alat pengumpulan data dalam bentuk pernyataan-pernyataan. Dengan adanya pengajian di Desa Tanjung Selamat Masjid Al Ikhlas masyarakat merespon dengan baik, adapun hasil persentase dari komunikan yang pertama perhatian masyarakat 50%, yang kedua pengertian 100%, dan yang ketiga penerimaan 80%.

Abstract

Drug trafficking and abuse is a very complex problem, which requires efforts to overcome it. Given that there are still many obstacles in the process of grouping drug users at the Binjai City BNN Office, for this reason the author tries to create a system to support a computerized grouping process that can help automatically classify drug users based on age, so there is an opportunity to design a grouping data mining system in it. Data mining is part of a computer-based information system that employs one or more computer learning techniques to analyze and extract knowledge automatically that is used to support grouping within an organization or a company. Clustering is a method that is applied to create a grouping data mining system to make it easier for staff to classify drug users based on age. Based on the analysis that has been done on grouping drug user data using the clustering, it is necessary to do the cluster several times to get the same results according to the first process. In this process, the process is carried out 10 times to obtain cluster. In cluster 1 which is 3 9 4,  cluster 2 is 3 1 4, cluster 3 is 3 5 4 with the number of members of cluster 1 as much as 322 data, cluster 2 as much as 81 data and cluster 3 as much as 97 data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak strategi pemasaran dengan metode bauran pemasaran terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dalam konteks Gojek, platform layanan ojek online dan pengiriman terkemuka. Penelitian ini berfokus pada komponen bauran pemasaran termasuk produk, harga, promosi, dan tempat (distribusi), serta dampak masing-masing komponen terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks Gojek, efektivitas unsur bauran pemasaran yaitu produk dan tempat (distribusi) secara positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Namun harga dan promosi yang dikeluarkan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan hasil Uji F dapat diketahui bahwa 42,013 > 2,46 dengan signifikansi 0.001 < 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa produk, harga, promosi, dan tempat (distribusi) secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan.Kata Kunci: Bauran Pemasaran, Produk, Harga, Promosi, dan Tempat

Abstract

Purpose: The per capita expenditure data in Jambi Province, Indonesia have been plagued with severe multicollinearity problems. To address the issue, this study developed an effective small area estimation (SAE) method, which is essential for formulating comprehensive regional development policies in Jambi Province. By modifying the mixed effects random forest (MERF) method, we introduced PCA-MERF (which applies principal component analysis prior to MERF) and MERoF (which replaces the standard random forest with rotation forest) to handle multicollinearity more effectively. Data from the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) in March 2021 and Village Potential (PODES) in 2021 were utilized. The methods were evaluated using metrics such as root mean square error (RMSE), relative root mean square error (RRMSE), coefficient of variation (CV), and their ability to capture random area effects. The random effect block (REB) bootstrap approach was employed to obtain MSE estimates for evaluating area-level estimate quality. Result: The results showed that MERoF outperformed both MERF and PCA-MERF, particularly in unit-level (village) estimation. Additionally, MERoF demonstrated superior capability in capturing variation between subdistricts compared to MERF and PCA-MERF. PCA-MERF performed better than MERF and MERoF at the area level (subdistrict). All three methods showed acceptable performance with RRMSE and CV values ranging between 8% and 10%, indicating precise and reliable predictions for per capita expenditure in small areas. These modifications to MERF prove effective and advantageous for small-area estimation in datasets with significant multicollinearity. Novelty: This research introduces a novel semi-parametric, tree-based SAE approach, enhancing the precision of per capita expenditure estimates and supporting more informative regional policy decisions, thus filling a gap in current SAE methodologies.

Abstract

The making of tandok handicrafts in Pantai Cermin Kiri Village, Pantai Cermin Sub-district, Serdang Badagai Regency has a role in improving the community's economy. But on the other hand, there are problems in developing skills and diligence in making woven crafts. Many people in Pematang Panjang Village work as farmers or agricultural laborers. Similarly, the youth of Pantai Cermin Kiri Village have chosen to work outside the city. This research uses a qualitative method that emphasizes the descriptive qualitative type. The data collection technique used was focus group discussion. The results that have been achieved in the implementation of training on the development of woven handicrafts are (1) increasing the skills of craftsmen in making tandok products; (2) increasing the competitiveness of tandok  handicraft production; (3) increasing the economy of the Pantai Cermin Kiri Village community, Pantai Cermin Sub-district, Serdang Badagai Regency.
