Abstract

Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Tuhemberua Kecamatan Lolomatua bermata pencaharian sebagai petani. Namun di era industri dan teknologi saat ini, hasil pertanian tidak dapat menunjang pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari, belum lagi masalah kenaikan harga yang berdampak pada peningkatan alat produksi pertanian. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat saat ini dalam bertani juga berdampak pada produksi hasil pertanian yang cenderung menurun. Alhasil banyak masyarakat belakangan ini yang berlabuh pada usaha budidaya jamur tiram, dimana menurut mereka budidaya jamur tiram lebih mudah dan menguntungkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan usaha mikro budidaya jamur tiram terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Tuhemberua Kecamatan Lolomatua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa budidaya jamur tiram yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat menunjukkan hasil yang sangat signifikan, dimana adanya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pendapat yang diterima, terbukanya lapangan kerja baru serta meningkatnya relasi dan komunikasi kepada pengusaha-pengusaha lain yang saling menguntungkan dalam hal produksi dan distribusi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah budidaya jamur tiram di Desa Tuhemberua Lolomatua dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dari penelitian ini disarankan agar budidaya yang dilakukan tidak harus menggunakan cara konvensional, namun perlu disaksanakan pelatihan guna menciptakan inovasi baru dalam mencapai keuntungan yang maksimal.

Abstract

Dari hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa masyarakat Desa Silima Banua Kecamatan Tuhemberua Kabupaten Nias Utara sering mengeluhkan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan hidupnya, hal ini dikarenakan adanya ketimpangan pendapatan yang diterima oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terjadinya ketimpangan pendapatan pada masyarakat Desa Silimabanua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama ketimpangan pendapatan masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendidikan, faktor permodalan, faktor ketenagakerjaan, faktor infrastruktur dan akses pasar, serta peran pemerintah dan dukungan eksternal. Dalam penelitian ini disarankan agar pemerintah dapat turut andil dalam memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat agar masyarakat memiliki keterampilan kerja yang dapat menjadi modal utama dalam berwirausaha.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Monoton masih dirasakan oleh para siswa SMK Negeri 2 namohalu Esiwa. Kurangnya partisipasi siswa membuat para siswa merasa bosan dan cenderung berpengaruh pada hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini merupaka penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan siswa, tes hasil belajar, angket, dan dokumen. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa : pada siklus pertama hasil belajar siswa belum memenuhi target yang ditetapkan minimal 70%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua hasil belajar siswa mencapai rata-rata 87,03%.  Hal ini mencapai target yang ditetapkan dari 70%. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 2 namohalu Esiwa.Monotonous learning is still felt by students at SMK Negeri 2 Namohalu Esiwa. Lack of student participation makes students feel bored and tends to affect their learning outcomes. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to determine the process of implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in increasing learning motivation. The data collection techniques used are teacher and student observation sheets, learning results tests, questionnaires, and documents. From the research conducted, it was found that: in the first cycle student learning outcomes did not meet the target set at a minimum of 70%, while in the second cycle student learning outcomes reached an average of 87.03%.  This achieved the set target of 70%. Researchers concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can increase student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 2 Namohalu Esiwa.

Abstract

Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran dikarenakan banyak siswa yang tidak aktif dan cenderung malu untuk bertanya. Pasifnya para siswa menimbulkan suasana belajar yang tidak efektif sehingga banyak siswa yang tidak fokus bahkan sering mengantuk dalam kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem pembelajaran moving class terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran moving class terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa hasil pengolahan data pada perhitungan angket sistem pembelajaran moving class terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dimana pernyataan 20 butir dengan uji validitas diperoleh r-hitung = 0,625 > r-tabel = 0,325 dan uji reliabilitas diperoleh r-11 = 0,769 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa r-11 > r_tabel 0,769 > 0,325 sehingga instrument tersebut dapat dikatakan reliabel dan layak digunakan untuk pengambilan data angket sistem pembelajaran moving class terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dapat ditemukan bahwa Terdapat Pengaruh Sistem Pembelajaran Moving Class Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas XII-OTKP SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the persistent issue of low income among rural residents, despite various government support programs. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of capital, work experience, and government policy on the income levels of the community in Dahana Alasa Village, North Nias, in 2025. A quantitative research method was employed, using a descriptive analytical approach. The population of the study consisted of 117 residents, from which a simple random sample of 15 respondents was selected. Data were collected through structured questionnaires with closed-ended questions. The findings show that the majority of respondents are farmers (66.67%), women (60%), aged between 45–60 years (80%), and have a basic level of education (elementary and junior high school). Capital emerged as the primary obstacle to increasing income. Respondents reported difficulties in obtaining business capital and accessing credit facilities, while existing government capital assistance programs were perceived as uneven and ineffective. Although work experience contributed to decision-making and skill development, its impact on income remained limited without sufficient capital support, particularly among farmers. Moreover, government policies were found to be less effective due to inadequate program dissemination and poor access to information. The study concludes that low income is primarily due to limited capital, ineffective use of work experience, and suboptimal government policy implementation. Recommendations include improving capital access, providing skills training, and enhancing communication of government programs.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of a preliminary study conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe, which revealed an ongoing issue of low student engagement in the learning process. This study describes the implementation of learning activities through the guided inquiry model and investigates whether the guided inquiry learning model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe using an experimental research design, with the population consisting of classes VIII-1 and VIII-2. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique.Based on the research findings on the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model, the experimental class had an average post-test score of 85.65, while the control class had an average score of 56.55. Class VIII-1 achieved a score of 75, meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for the topic Economic Actors at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The general conclusion indicates that the guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving the critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher competency in the use of technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 3 Sitolu Ori. The background of this study is based on the importance of technology integration in the learning process to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. Teachers as the spearhead of education are expected to have pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies that include the ability to operate and utilize learning technology. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the majority of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Sitolu Ori have basic skills in using technological devices such as laptops, computers, projectors, and Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint. However, the use of technology still faces several obstacles such as limited internet connection, lack of advanced technology training, and limited time in developing digital learning materials. In addition, the process of selecting learning media generally refers to the teaching module used, but not all teachers are able to optimally develop media independently. This study concludes that although most teachers have demonstrated basic skills in the use of technology-based media, competency improvement is still needed through continuous training and infrastructure support. The results of this study are expected to be a basis for schools and stakeholders to design programs to improve teacher professionalism in utilizing technology to achieve a more innovative and quality learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of school library management and its impact on students' reading interest at SMK Negeri 3 Alasa. The background of this study is based on the library's important role as a learning resource center that supports the improvement of students' literacy and reading interest. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews with students and library staff. The results of the study indicate that the quality of library management at SMK Negeri 3 Alasa is quite good, both in terms of collection availability, services, facilities and infrastructure, and librarian competence. However, several shortcomings were still found, particularly in terms of updating the book collection and utilizing information technology. Based on data analysis, there is a positive relationship between the quality of library management and the level of student reading interest. The better the library management, the higher the student reading interest. This study recommends improving library facilities, training librarians, and integrating structured literacy programs to encourage a reading culture in schools. With optimal library management, it is hoped that students' interest in reading will continue to increase sustainably.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the researcher’s observation during the learning process at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli, where there have been obstacles in the learning process, resulting in relatively low student learning outcomes. The objectives of this study are: (1) to examine the implementation of Augmented Reality technology in the Integrated Social Studies subject for Grade VIII at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli, and (2) to analyze the students’ learning outcomes in the subject through the implementation of Augmented Reality technology. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR). It was conducted in class VIII-G with 32 students serving as both the sample and the population. Based on field data collected by the researcher, the findings are as follows: (1) the teacher observation score in the first cycle reached an average of 65.17%, while in the second cycle it increased to 87.5%. (2) Student activity observation in the first cycle reached an average of 50.89% and increased to 88% in the second cycle. (3) The learning evaluation score in the first cycle was 76.57%, and in the second cycle it improved to 90.88%. The mastery percentage in the first cycle was 46.87%, while in the second cycle it reached 93.75%. It can be concluded that the implementation of Augmented Reality technology enhanced both understanding and student learning outcomes. Thus, applying Augmented Reality technology contributes positively to improving the learning outcomes in the Integrated Social Studies subject for Grade VIII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli.

Abstract

The inactivity of students at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Alo’oa often creates a monotonous learning atmosphere. The students' lack of response to each learning material is also caused by the use of conventional learning models. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Discovery Learning model using the Kinemaster application in enhancing students' thinking skills. The benefit of this learning model is expected to enable students to think critically and respond to each stage of the learning process, thus contributing to the improvement of learning quality. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two implementation cycles, using a qualitative research method. The research subjects were 23 students of SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Alo’oa. The research instruments included observation sheets, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the teacher's observation sheet scored 54% in the first cycle and 89.5% in the second cycle, while the students' critical thinking observation sheet scored 58.74% in the first cycle and 91.53% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 63.81% with a mastery percentage of 45%, and in the second cycle, the average reached 77.80% with a mastery percentage of 81.81%, categorized as very good. These results indicate that the Discovery Learning model using the Kinemaster application can improve students' critical thinking skills at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Alo’oa.
