Abstract

The Community Service Program (PkM) with the theme “Fire Prevention Awareness at SDN Sukadana, Ciomas District, Serang Regency” was held on August 2, 2025, with the aim of improving the understanding and skills of students and teachers in dealing with fire risks in the school environment. The focus of the activity was on fire prevention efforts by providing knowledge about the causes of fires, preventive measures, and appropriate school safety procedures. The implementation method consisted of three main stages, namely coordination with the school and preparation of materials, interactive delivery of fire prevention and safety materials, and evacuation simulations and simple fire extinguishing practices using Fire Extinguishers (APAR) and wet cloths. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of fire hazards, skills in using fire extinguishers, and disaster preparedness through evacuation simulation exercises. Teachers and students were able to understand evacuation routes, remain calmer in emergency situations, and foster a culture of safety in the school environment. This program not only provided practical experience but also built collective awareness of the importance of school safety and disaster preparedness from an early age. Thus, this activity contributed to creating a school ecosystem that is more responsive to disasters and can be used as a model for implementing mitigation programs in other schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran nilai-nilai Islam dalam membangun karakter anti-gratifikasi pada mahasiswa. Gratifikasi, atau pemberian hadiah untuk mempengaruhi keputusan, merupakan tindakan yang merugikan dan bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Nilai-nilai seperti taqwa, sabar, muhasabah, keadilan, dan amanah diyakini dapat berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter yang menolak gratifikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei kuesioner online kepada 25 mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memahami konsep nilai-nilai Islam dan menganggapnya penting untuk diterapkan dalam kehidupan. Namun, masih terdapat perbedaan persepsi mengenai dampak gratifikasi dan pentingnya karakter anti-gratifikasi. Implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam membangun karakter anti-gratifikasi dapat dilakukan melalui pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan pendidikan, keteladanan, dan dukungan lingkungan. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain internalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam perilaku sehari-hari dan pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Solusi yang dapat ditempuh adalah pembinaan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan kolaborasi dengan keluarga serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa nilai-nilai Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membangun karakter anti-gratifikasi pada mahasiswa, namun diperlukan upaya yang komprehensif dan berkelanjutan untuk mengimplementasikannya secara efektif.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity and learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study is to improve the activity and learning outcomes of 34 students of class X AKL I SMKN 1 Kisaran by applying the problem solving model with a collaborative approach. This study is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study are student learning activity observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The data analysis techniques of this study are quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. From the student learning activity observation sheets, in cycle I there were 13 students (38.23%) who were included in the active and very active categories. In cycle II students who were included in the active and very active categories increased to 28 students (82.35%) and had met the success indicator ≥ 75%. The data analysis revealed an average pre-test score of 70.29, with 16 students (47.05%) completing the test. The cycle I post-test averaged 75, with 18 students (52.94%) completing the test. This increased to a cycle II post-test average of 86.47, with 30 students (88.23%) completing the test, meeting the success indicator of ≥85%. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the application of a problem-solving model with a collaborative approach can improve the learning activities and outcomes of accounting students at SMKN 1 Kisaran.
