Abstract

This research examines the technique of playing hasapi to accompany the song Buku Ende No. 585.Somba Ma Jahowa Debata. Through a literature study approach and direct observation, this thesis presents various basic and advanced techniques used by hasapi players. First, this thesis describes how to hold and pluck hasapi strings, as well as basic techniques for producing clear and resonant sound. Next, it discusses the use of melodic and rhythmic variations in playing hasapi, including ornamentation and improvisation techniques which are generally used in traditional Batak music performances. This research also outlines the important role of learning and knowledge in the hasapi playing community. The results of this research show that a deep understanding of hasapi playing techniques requires consistent practice and a deep understanding of the cultural context. Apart from that, this thesis concludes that the development of hasapi playing techniques not only enriches Batak cultural heritage, but is for the glory of God.

Abstract

The scientific paper with the title arranging the song I want to follow Jesus in the quarted band ensemble playing in the GPdI Agave Bangun Service is research that discusses how to apply the branch of arrangement, namely reharmonization, to the composition I want to follow Jesus. This research uses qualitative research methods using observation, interviews and documentation. Arrangement comes from the Dutch word Arrangement, which means adjusting a musical composition to the number of singers' voices or musical instruments based on an existing composition so that the essence of the music does not change. The arrangements influence the formation of the rhythm and harmony produced by the quarted band ensemble at GPdI Agave Bangun. The results of the research show that the problem of this research is that the drum and bass, which are the main components in the quarted band ensemble, are out of sync between the two instruments which will affect the quality of the arrangement. The piano is often melodic but can also be an accompaniment instrument, the piano playing pattern becomes a rhythmic fulcrum that will change the character and dynamics of the song. Reharmonization of the piano chords is the main reason the writer arranged the song I want to follow Jesus by changing the character of the song from sad to straightforward. Substitution chord theory, voicing and slash chord techniques are the main ingredients for researchers in composing. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research, with the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The final result of this research is as reference material for church musicians to increase their repertoire of playing variations to accompany worship in the church.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence of Christian Religious Education Teacher Exemplar on the Morals of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency, in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with descriptive statistics. The population was all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung, totaling 175 people, and a sample of 35 people was determined using random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 42 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Christian Religious Education Teacher on the Morals of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.676> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 35) = 0.334 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount value = 5.266> t table ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 33) = 2.042 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Ŷ = 35.12 + 0.24. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 45.7%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 27.73 > 1.62. Thus, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be seen that the research hypothesis proposed by the author is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence of the Exemplary Behavior of Christian Religious Education Teachers on the Morals of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency, 2023/2024 Academic Year.

The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with descriptive statistics. The population was all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung, totaling 175 people and a sample of 35 people was determined using random sampling techniques or randomly. Data were collected with a positive closed questionnaire of 45 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the use of Audio-visual Media on the learning interest of students of Christian Religious Education (PAK) class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung in the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.426> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 35) = 0.334 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount value = 2.706> ttable ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 33) = 2.042 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Ŷ = 14.52 + 0.625. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 17.2%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable, namely 7.32> 1.62. Thus, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be seen that the research hypothesis proposed by the author is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between Audio-visual Media on the learning interest of Christian Religious Education (PAK) students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Tarutung in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Quantum Teaching Learning Model on the Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Characteristics of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong 2022/2023. The method used in this research is the Descriptive Inferential Quantitative research method. The population is all 222 students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong who are Christians. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII 1 with a total of 32 people. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Quantum Teaching Learning Model on the PAK Learning Motivation and Characteristics of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong This research concludes that there is a positive and significant influence of the Quantum Teaching Learning Model on the PAK Learning Motivation and Characteristics of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong 2022/2023 amounting to 45.69%. In connection with the results of this research, the author provides input for schools to improve and maintain a good and structured quantum teaching learning model so that it can increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui teknik vibrato dan legato permainan biola pada lagu Buku ende Haholongan Nabadia. Lagu ini merupakan lagu rohani batak , yang memiliki birama ¾ dengan tempo 76 dengan nada dasar Bb=Do, terdiri dari 16 bar. Lagu ini memiliki makna yang menceritakan tentang kasih Tuhan yang agung dan tak terhingga, yang melampaui batas dan kemampuan manusia yang memiliki harapan dan keinginan yang mendalam, serta ungkapan jujur tentang dosa dalam diri manusia yang mengakui bahwa kita sebagai manusia tidak sempurna dan seringkali membuat kesalahan. Lagu ini juga membuat kita menyadari bahwa hanya Tuhan yang mampu membersihkan kita dari dosa dan kembali kejalan yang benar dan mendapatkan pengampunan dari Tuhan. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun proses kerja yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi melalui penelitian di lapangan untuk memperoleh hasil yang diolah menjadi pasti. Teknik permainan biola dalam lagu ini menggunakan teknik permainan vibrato dan legato. Dimana teknik vibrato ini merupakan teknik yang menggetarkan nada dengan mengerakan jari tangan kiri pada suatu senar, dan teknik legato merupakan cara bermain secara bersambung yang menghubungkan dua nada atau lebih. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik vibrato dan legato sangat penting dalam permainan biola khususnya pada lagu Be. 182 “Haholongan Nabadia” yang dimana dalam lagu tersebut membutuhkan iringan yang lebih membawa ekspresi lagu pada jemaat dengan menggunakan teknik vibrato dan legato yang mampu menciptakkan suara yang lebih dinamis, berkesan dan halus. Sehingga jemaat dapat menghayati serta mengungkapkan ekspresi emosional pada saat monopoti dosa dan mengerti setiap makna dari lirik lagu tersebut, seperti pada birama 1-2 teknik vibrato digunakan pada nada tu jo lom untuk menciptakkan ekspresi emosi yang kuat dan menekankan makna lirik lagu. Kemudian dibirama 5-16 teknik vibrato dan legato di terapkan untuk menciptakkan kesan penyerahan diri yang mendalam pada saat monopoti dosa
