Abstract

This research investigates the influence of competency, information technology usage, communication, and internal control system on employee performance within the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Papua Province. Using a quantitative approach, the study targets a population of 78 employees from BPS Papua Province. All employees were included in the study due to the population size being less than 100. Data collection involved primary data through Likert scale questionnaires. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing through partial (t-test), simultaneous, and determination coefficient tests. The results indicate that competency, communication, and internal control system significantly affect employee performance, while information technology usage does not. Collectively, these variables demonstrate a significant impact on employee performance. Recommendations include continuous competency improvement through training, enhancing information technology infrastructure, fostering effective communication, and evaluating communication quality. Implementing these recommendations is expected to significantly enhance employee performance at BPS Papua Province, thereby contributing to organizational goals.

Abstract

Life is dynamic, twists and turns over a long period of time, many things can affect the financial goals that have been set, including during the current crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We cannot close our eyes to the Covid-19 outbreak that occurred in the country of Indonesia at the beginning of 2020, causing a significant impact on almost all aspects of life. Not only health but also financial care is very important in solving this problem. However, good family financial management skills will help us get out of this problem easily. Through community service conducted by the teaching team and inviting students to discuss various solutions for family financial management for Tablanusu village mothers in times of crisis. The process of using this community service consists of the preparation stage starting from the inspection of the workplace, the work stage of introducing financial management, introducing finance, introducing household financial development with monitoring and analysis. The results obtained by the participants are equipping village mothers or PKK mothers with skills in managing family finances in times of crisis, so that they can help solve the problem of household arrangement funders in the future, such as ideas between partners and education costs. In organizing family finances, special solutions are needed, the use of money for certain purposes must be used as a measure of importance. Needs that are not urgent and only hobbies and activities that are not important can be crossed out of the list of expenses. Parents should make a list of basic/fundamental needs, secondary needs and advanced needs. Women PKK remove secondary and advanced requirements if they have not fulfilled all the basic requirements. There is an urgent need for household leaders to organize all essential needs, this work can empower housewives who were previously unfamiliar with family financial management. In the face of all the family financial management problems they face, they are consequently mothers who must be careful about spending too much money that has no result or value.

Abstract

Kegiatan seni rupa memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan kreativitas, motorik halus, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Seni rupa tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana ekspresi diri, tetapi juga sebagai medium untuk melatih koordinasi, ketekunan, dan imajinasi. Dalam konteks pendidikan dasar, pengenalan seni rupa dengan berbagai teknik kreatif, seperti kolase, menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang relevan untuk merangsang potensi anak secara optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa PGMI pada Sekolah MIS AL-Anshar Alak Kota Kupang. MIS Al-Anshar ini berlokasi di jalan Waikelo.32, Kelurahan Penkase Oeleta, Kecamatan Alak Kota Kupang. Kegiatan perencanaan awal adalah kegiatan pengabdian yang berkaitan dengan konsep dan keterampilan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai SBdP khususnya teknik kolase. Hal ini dikarenakan menurut mahasiswa kemampuan peserta didik dalam hal menempel kolase masih belum kreatif. Sasaran kegiatan PKM ini adalah peserta didik kelas III di MIS Al-Anshar Alak. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan PKM ini Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tiga tahap diantaranya adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan diskusi dan evaluasi serta pelatihan dan pendampingan. Alat untuk mengukur kegiatan ini adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan ini peserta didik telah memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat karya kolase. Peserta didik juga telah mampu mempraktikkan membuat karya kolase pada pembelajaran SBdP di kelasnya. Siswa tampak antusias dan fokus dalam membuat karya kolase.  Kegiatan PkM ini, diharapkan peserta didik lebih kreatif dan terampil membuat karya seni jenis kolase.
