Meanwhile, Islam considers poverty to be something that can endanger morals, logical thinking, family and society. There are three ways to overcome poverty, namely: 1). increase the real sector and eliminating usury, 2). develop infrastructure development, as well as health and education that become factors in the economic development of welfare and justice (al-adl wal ihsan) and a good living (hayyah thayyibah) for all people, as the goal of Islamic economics to achieve falah that can be realized through mashlahah optimization.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and build an Islamic economic order with noble character based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The emergence of Islamic economics to provide an explanation that the theory of utility has not touched the most basic principles and goals of Muslim consumers, namely in fulfilling their material and non-material needs, it is difficult to distinguish between wants and needs, and cannot avoid excessive behavior. So that this need has not been felt to be met in consumption activities called mashlahah. In Islamic principles, it is emphasized that every activity and every human being in economic activities can be characterized by their ability to do ihsan and fastabiqul khairat, uphold justice and not act arbitrarily, both for themselves and the surrounding environment. The characteristics of utility and maslahah in Islamic economics have characteristics, namely the principles of faith, morals and law (muamalah). This research is a literature research with a thematic method. The concept of utility or satisfaction is very different from the concept of maslahah or usefulness which is the goal in Islamic consumption. The concept of utility is very subject because it departs from the fulfillment of needs that are indeed subject. Meanwhile, the concept of maslahah is relatively more objective because it departs from the fulfillment of desires which is relatively more objective than needs. Within the framework of this theory, Islamic economic principles and activities must be the operational basis of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Iqtishaduna school was pioneered by Muhammad Baqr Sadr, according to him Islamic economics is a method or path that Muslims choose to follow in order to achieve their economic life and in solving practical economic problems, in line with his concept of justice. Muhammad For Sadr, Islam does not deal with the law of supply and demand, nor the relationship between profit and interest, the phenomenon of diminishing returns which is the science of economics. In this research the author used a qualitative method with the type of Library Research research. Some of the main economic thoughts contained in the Iqtishâduna book include the definition of Islamic economics, the characteristics of Islamic economics, the theory of production and distribution, of which almost one third receives a discussion portion. Apart from that, it is impossible to implement Islamic economic ideas without the government's role in the economic sector. The role of government in Muhammad Baqir Sadr's conception is related to efforts to realize prosperity in the midst of human life. Two important roles of the government in this case are realizing social security and social balance. Meanwhile, Islamic neo-revivalism is a movement that wants to restore world order with an Islamic caliphate which is believed to be the order taught in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Islamic economics began to develop since the classical economic period in 738 AD - 1932 AD which was marked by the emergence of ideas such as Abu Yusuf with the book Al-Kharaj (Manual on Land Tax) and Abu Ubaid al-Qosim with the book 'Al-Amwal (The wealth). Then in 1058 AD-1466 AD, this economic development continued, colored by the thoughts of Ibn Khaldun as contained in the book Muqadimah. The rebirth of Islamic economics began with the awareness of Muslim scientists who assessed the need to restore Islamic teachings in everyday life. This awareness was an answer to the thoughts of contemporary Muslim scientists regarding economic problems which were deemed unable to be completely solved by the economic theory developing at that time. 70s. The research method used here is library research or literacy studies. Library research is a method of research where all activities are related to reading, recording and collecting library data and managing research materials. Meanwhile, literacy studies are a method of research which involves summarizing writings from books, journals and other documents, then describing the information and theories obtained, and organizing these libraries into discussion subchapters related to required topic. In this research, the type of data used by the author is data obtained from literature studies. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. Islamic economics is likened to a house, building or structure that requires basic values, principles and concepts in the form of design before the economic system is built. By knowing an Islamic economic design, it is hoped that you can get a complete and comprehensive picture briefly about the Islamic economy which is like a building and consists of a roof, pillars and foundation. There are basic principles in Islamic economic design. These principles can generally be divided into three parts, namely: universal values, derivative principles and morals. The main principles held by Islamic economics are the principle of monotheism, the principle of justice and moral principles which are manifestations of the principle of nubuwah. These basic principles make Islamic economics superior to other economic systems, for example social or liberal economics.
