The sample used in this research was all cooperatives in Simalungun Regency, totaling 54 people. The sampling method used is total sampling, namely using the entire population as a sample. Data were analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression. The results of this research show that leadership style is in the good category with a percentage of 100%, then entrepreneurship development is in the good category with a percentage of 12%, then good corporate governance is in the good category with a percentage of 19% and cooperative performance is in the quite good category. with a percentage of 53%. The results of the multiple regression test that has been carried out show that there is no positive and significant influence between leadership style, entrepreneurial development and good corporate governance on the performance of cooperatives in Simalungun Regency.

Abstract

As one of the largest agro-industrial companies in Indonesia engaged in the animal feed industry, it certainly has good Occupational Health and Safety standards. However, throughout 2022, this industry still experienced work accidents, especially in the production process. Work accidents that occur are at mild to moderate levels. Seeing this condition, it is deemed necessary to make efforts to prevent and minimize the risk of work accidents, one of which is using Job Safety Analysis. The Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method is used to identify hazards in the production process and provide suggestions for preventive measures. Based on the results of the job safety analysis, activities in the machinery sector and machine maintenance processes have a risk of work accidents such as being hit by boiler sparks, slipping, being pinched, and others. Strict supervision is needed for operators to wear personal protective equipment before working, ensuring that operators follow work instructions and standard operating procedures in working so that the risk of work accidents can be minimized.

Abstract

This study aims to explore descriptively the development of coffee plants in Indonesia. This research uses literature study and secondary data. Data mainly obtained from Coffee Statistics published by Indonesian Statistic Center. The results showed that the People's Plantation is the largest coffee plantation, with the highest production and highest productivity. Meanwhile, large state-owned companies and large private companies tend to experience a decrease in both the area of coffee plantations, their production, and productivity. In Indonesia, the provinces with the largest areas and high production followed by productivity are the provinces of South Sumatra, Lampung, Aceh, North Sumatra, and Bengkulu.

Abstract

The city of Medan has several features that distinguish it from other cities in Indonesia. How fluctuations in food prices impact inflation can be influenced by variables such as the structure of the local food market, the accessibility of food distribution, and people's consumption patterns. The purpose of this research is to gain an understanding of the dynamics that occur in Medan, especially in the post-election context. This study aims to analyze the effect of food price fluctuations on the inflation rate in Medan City after the general election. Significant fluctuations in food prices often affect price stability and inflation, and the impact may become more complex after policy changes following the 2024 general election. This study aims to analyze the influence of food prices on inflation using a linear regression model with five independent variables: Rice Price, Chicken Meat Price, Red Chili Price, Beef Price, and Shallot Price. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test on non-standardized residuals showed a significance value of 0.251, which is greater than 0.05, indicating normal distributed data. The histogram shows a distribution of data that deviates to the right, while the P-Plot test on standardized residual shows the absence of heteroscedasticity. The multicollinearity test with the Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) yielded values below 10.0 for all variables, indicating the absence of symptoms of multicollinearity. The results of the linear regression show that the coefficients for Rice Prices (-0.00000075), Red Chili Prices (-0.00000012), and Shallot Prices (-0.00000027) are negative, indicating an inverse relationship between these prices and inflation. Meanwhile, the coefficients for Chicken Meat Price (0.00000103) and Beef Price (0.00000008) were positive, but the effect was very small. A coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.609 indicates that about 60.9% of the variation in inflation can be explained by this model. The partial hypothesis test showed that only the Chicken Meat Price had a significant influence on inflation (significance value of 0.017, less than 0.05). The other variables did not show a significant influence because their significance value was greater than 0.05. The F test showed a significance value below 0.05, indicating that simultaneously, all five food price variables had a significant influence on inflation. The study concluded that, although only one variable was individually significant, overall, changes in food prices affected inflation.

Abstract

The People's Seed Garden (KBR) is a government program to provide multipurpose forest plant seedlings (MPTS) which are carried out independently by community forest farmer groups in rural areas. The background of the KBR development activity is as an effort to plant on critical land or empty land and unproductive forest land inside and outside forest areas. One of the efforts to restore the condition of the critical River Basin Area (DAS), this effort also provides results in the form of wood, sap, fruit, leaves, flowers, fiber, animal feed, and so on. In order to restore, maintain and improve the function of forests and land and improve community welfare, BPDAS-WU Sei Wampu Ular carries out the Development of the People's Seed Garden with the aim of supporting the greening and nature conservation program to improve welfare through efforts to maintain plants that are productive in a relatively short time.
