Abstract

Takallam program of Al-Azhar Pare Kediri is one of the most popular programs. This program has 3 levels in the learning process which each level has a target achievement that has been arranged systematically. The purpose of this study is to analyze the history of the development of the Takallam program of Al-Azhar Pare Kediri Course Institute from the beginning of the emergence of the program until this current time. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data exposure, and conclusions.  The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are mudir (director) and teachers of Al-Azhar Pare Kediri Course Institute, while secondary sources are books, journal houses, articles and proceedings to support the necessary theory and analysis. The results of the analysis found are that there are two phases in the development of the Takallam class at Al-Azhar Pare Kediri course institution, namely the initial phase and the development phase. The initial phase began in 2013 and the development phase began in 2022. Then three things that become the challenges of Al-Azhar Pare Kediri course institution are first, the awareness of Arabic-speaking participants or members in Al-Azhar Pare Arabic village varies, such as teachers who allow participants to speak Indonesian or speak directly to participants. Second, updating modules or materials which of course takes a long time. Third, arousing and increasing participants' interest in speaking Arabic.

Abstract

This research is based on the finding that the use of media at MTs Ar-Rosydiyyah Mambaul Ulum Sampang is still classified as less interesting in Arabic language learning. Therefore, this study was conducted to test the effectiveness of the use of Jeopardy Game media on student learning evaluation to improve Maharah Qiroah in Arabic language learning. This research method is quantitative research with the type of quasi-experimental research. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. Data analysis used the mean test, Paired Sample T Test, and N Gain Score test. Based on the data obtained and calculated, the Sig value is known. 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average results of students' reading abilities. The N-Gain Score test was carried out to test the effectiveness of the Jeoprady Game in evaluating learning and obtained a percentage of 80.9970 which was in the interval > 76 so it was in the "Effective" category.

Abstract

The development of science is inseparable from philosophy, this is because philosophy is the parent of all science itself. With the efforts of Muslim leaders to translate philosophical books into Arabic, there is a new science in Islam. In this process also arises differences of opinion from each philosophical figure. This research will compare the philosophical thoughts of Al-Kindi and Al-Razi. The research method used is literature review. The data sources in this research are journals, articles, books, and proceedings that are directly related to this theme. The concept of thought compared in this study is the concept of soul, morals and ethics from Al-Kindi and Al-Razi.

Abstract

Quality management evaluation is essential for both formal and non-formal educational institutions, particularly in the context of Arabic language learning at the Al Azhar Arabic Language Course in Pare, Kediri. This study adopts a qualitative method with a case study approach to investigate the quality management practices in place. Primary data were collected through interviews with educators and students, while secondary data were obtained from relevant literature. The data collection techniques included structured interviews, and the analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's framework, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the learning process at Al Azhar Pare is highly enjoyable, fostering student engagement. However, the evaluation of the quality management of Arabic language learning identifies two critical areas for improvement based on the eight educational quality management standards: the need for comprehensive attitude and spiritual assessments, and enhanced training programs to improve educator competencies. The novelty of this evaluation lies in the emphasis on the importance of a structured training system and comprehensive assessments of students' attitudes and skills

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan warisan budaya yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan menjadi bagian penting dari identitas masyarakat Kalimantan Barat, yang terdiri dari berbagai etnis, seperti Dayak, Melayu, Tionghoa, Jawa, Madura, dan Bugis. Nilai-nilai kebersamaan, religiusitas, serta penghormatan terhadap adat istiadat tercermin dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk upacara adat, seni pertunjukan, pengelolaan sumber daya alam, dan tradisi kuliner. Kearifan lokal ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tetapi juga sebagai alat untuk menjaga keharmonisan sosial dan keseimbangan dengan alam di tengah arus globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal dalam perspektif budaya di Kalimantan Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah jurnal, buku dokumentasi, internet dan pustaka. Setelah data terkumpul melalui teknik pengumpulan data, selanjutnya adalah menganalisis data tersebut. Dalam memberikan interpretasi data yang diperoleh peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian terdapat 5 bentuk kearifan lokal yang berada di Kalimantan Barat yaitu Upacara Adat, Peninggalan Sejarah, Seni Pertunjukan, Pengolahan Sumber Daya Alam, dan Kuliner. Dengan demikian, meskipun menghadapi perubahan sosial yang pesat, kearifan lokal tetap relevan dan berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan budaya serta kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to create learning resources for writing skills (maharah kitabah) using the Baamboozle website. Research and development is the research methodology employed. Researchers employed the development of the ADDIE model which is divided into five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In order to evaluate the viability of the generated items, documentation and questionnaires were employed as data collection methods in this Baamboozle media development research. The quantitative descriptive analysis technique was employed in this study. After that, the information gathered from students and learning media specialists via surveys about the created items was examined. Based on the findings from the analysis stage, researchers carried out a needs analysis of Arabic learning media; they also designed this product into two categories: distinct letters and random words; in the development stage, they created materials, had media experts verify their viability, and made revisions to their products. The product was evaluated on 21 students in grade VII as part of the evaluation process, which looks for evidence that the product was designed in accordance with learning objectives. The average result of the three experts' assessment was 87.78%, placing it in the Very Good category. The generated teaching material products received a percentage of 89.89% in the student assessment questionnaire, placing them in the "Very Good" category. Thus, it can be said that the generated product is appropriate for teaching writing skills (maharah kitabah).

Abstract

This study was raised by the researcher's interest in analyzing code mix in the latest video of one of the Indonesian artists and influencers Maudy Ayunda on her personal Youtube page. The video analyzed is a motivational video containing tips and tricks to overcome stress according to Maudy Ayunda which is packaged in the form of a vlog video using Indonesian and English. The purpose of this study is to analyze code mix based on word, baster, phrase, and clause code mix. This research uses a qualitative approach and the method used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were free listening and note-taking techniques. The data used comes from a video show on Maudy Ayunda's personal channel entitled “how I manage stress-maudy ayunda”. Based on the analysis, there are 37 forms of code mix in the analyzed video. The data is divided into 9 forms of code mix in the form of words, 4 forms of code mix in the form of baster, 10 forms of code mix in the form of phrases and 14 forms of code mix in the form of clauses. The factors that cause code mixing in the video are such as the background of the speaker, the interlocutor and the context of the conversation.
