Abstract

The interest in learning the Qur'an has started to rise amidst the current era of moral degradation among children and adolescents. Effective Qur'an learning must be adapted to existing conditions. To address the dual global challenges of increasing interest in Qur'an learning and English language education, an integrated method is required. This paper aims to provide an understanding of the importance of Qur'an and English language education using the Al-Muyassar Qur'an learning method. This research employs a literature review method. The results of the study indicate that teaching the Qur'an to young children using the Muyassar method is highly accurate and effective, allowing children to fluently and rhythmically recite the Qur'an from an early age. With the Muyassar method, a teacher is required to extend the time for Qur'an revision (muraja'ah) to strengthen the child's memory retention. While this integrated learning method offers various advantages, it also comes with certain drawbacks. Therefore, further research on this integrated method is necessary.

Abstract

In Islam there is an obligation to study, especially studying religion. In Indonesia, studying through tiered education has been guaranteed by the state. However, the fact that visually impaired children have learning difficulties so as not get the same educational rights as normal children initiated the authors to conduct this study. With limited vision, such visually impaired children are deprived of the right to learn. Therefore, in this study, the author tried to design a learning media design whose function is to make it easier for visually impaired children to learn to recognize hijaiyah letters. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the design of hijaiyah learning media, namely the smart book. The substance taken is that the hijaiyah letter is based on the reason that religious education for generations of Muslims is very important. There is also in religious education that must be mastered first is the main source, namely the Qur'an. Thus, recognizing the hijaiyah letters, the basis for reading the Qur’an, is important to master first. The preparation of this paper uses the prototype method of literature study which is solving community problems by tracing the sources of writings that have been made. The design created was developed with a pop-up book-based media that can be palpable and identified. The digital technology components used are voice recognition, raspberry pi 4, loudspeakers, and Braille letterboards. The advantages of the smart book besides the object that appears, when touched it will produce the sound of the name of the object, there is a correct way of reading according to the makhorijul letters, and there are tones in the reading. It is predicted that with learning media that is simple in design, it will be able to achieve learning goals effectively and efficiently. So, visually impaired children can learn easily and fun. Therefore, the development of related media according to the author needs to be disseminated to children with visual impairments to support their learning activities.

Abstract

The digital era presents major challenges for students in developing Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), particularly due to digital distractions, an instant gratification culture, and weak self-control. This article aims to conceptually explore how the internalization of the value of patience (ṣabr) within the framework of prophetic education can strengthen students’ SRL abilities. Using a library research method, this study examines literature related to SRL, the Islamic concept of patience, and the prophetic education approach. The results of the study show that prophetic education is the basis that the value of patience has a role in building SRL. The first hadith is related to the value of patience that will bring victory, relevant to goal setting and a gradual learning process. The second hadith, patience is afflicted with difficulties and fatigue will erase sins, relevant to instilling values to always strive to evaluate every learning process even though it is difficult. The third hadith is about the value of patience to control anger, relevant to maintaining internal motivation in learning so that it is not easy to give up when facing difficulties and obstacles. So, students need patience to be able to regulate the difficult learning process. Therefore, strengthening SRL requires not only cognitive strategies but also value-based approaches that address the affective and spiritual dimensions of learners. This article offers a conceptual contribution to the development of an integrative Islamic education model that responds to the challenges of the digital age through a prophetic, value-oriented approach centered on patience. Abstrak Era digital menghadirkan tantangan besar bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), terutama akibat distraksi digital, budaya instan, dan lemahnya pengendalian diri. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji secara konseptual bagaimana internalisasi nilai sabar dalam kerangka pendidikan profetik dapat memperkuat kemampuan SRL siswa. Menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan, kajian ini menelaah literatur tentang konsep SRL, sabar dalam perspektif Islam, dan pendekatan pendidikan profetik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan pendidikan profetik menjadi dasar bahwa nilai sabar mempunyai peran untuk membangun SRL. Hadist pertama berkaitan dengan nilai sabar yang akan membawa kemenangan, relevan dengan penetapan tujuan dan proses pembelajaran yang bertahap. Hadist kedua, sabar ditimpa kesulitan dan kelelahan akan menghapus dosa, relevan dengan penanaman nilai untuk selalu berikhtiar mengevaluasi setiap proses belajar meskipun hal tersebut sulit. Hadist ketiga, adalah tentang nilai sabar dapat mengendalikan amarah, relevan dengan menjaga motivasi internal dalam belajar agar tidak mudah putus asa apabila menghadapi kesulitan dan hambatan. Sehingga siswa perlu nilai sabar untuk dapat meregulasi proses belajar yang sulit. Dengan demikian, penguatan SRL perlu dilakukan tidak hanya dengan strategi kognitif, tetapi juga melalui pendekatan nilai yang menyentuh aspek afektif dan spiritual peserta didik. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual terhadap pengembangan model pendidikan Islam yang integratif, yang menjawab tantangan era digital dengan pendekatan profetik berbasis nilai sabar.

Abstract

AbstractThe massive integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the educational landscape has sparked an ontological crisis regarding the erosion of human cognitive autonomy. The instant convenience offered by algorithms threatens to distort the essence of learning from character formation into mere information transaction. This study aims to reconstruct Ibn Khaldun’s educational epistemology, specifically the concepts of Al-Fikr (thinking faculty) and Malakah (habit), as a critical framework to address the phenomenon of AI-induced cognitive offloading. Employing a qualitative approach with philosophical content analysis, this research juxtaposes the text of Al-Muqaddimah against contemporary literature on the psychological impacts of technology. The findings reveal a fundamental contradiction: while AI operates efficiently at the level of Al-‘Aql Al-Tamyizi (discriminative intellect), it lacks the capacity for Al-‘Aql Al-Tajribi (experimental intellect) and Al-‘Aql Al-Nazhari (speculative intellect), which require social embodiment and metaphysical reflection. The study concludes that the "instant culture" of AI is antithetical to the formation of Malakah. Consequently, preserving intellectual authenticity requires the implementation of At-Tadarruj (gradualism) and Munazharah (dialectics), alongside a shift in assessment orientation from product-based to process-based evaluation to prevent human cognitive atrophy.Keywords: Ibn Khaldun, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Islamic Education, Malakah, Cognitive Atrophy.AbstrakIntegrasi masif Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam lanskap pendidikan telah memicu krisis ontologis mengenai erosi otonomi kognitif manusia. Kemudahan instan yang ditawarkan algoritma berpotensi mendistorsi hakikat belajar dari proses pembentukan karakter menjadi sekadar transaksi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi epistemologi pendidikan Ibnu Khaldun, khususnya konsep Al-Fikr (kemampuan berpikir) dan Malakah (habitus), sebagai kerangka kritis untuk merespons fenomena cognitive offloading akibat ketergantungan pada AI. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten filosofis, penelitian ini mengonfrontasi teks Al-Muqaddimah dengan literatur kontemporer mengenai dampak psikologis teknologi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan adanya kontradiksi fundamental: AI beroperasi secara efisien pada level Al-‘Aql Al-Tamyizi (akal pemilah), namun gagal mencapai Al-‘Aql Al-Tajribi (akal eksperimental) dan Al-‘Aql Al-Nazhari (akal spekulatif) yang mensyaratkan pengalaman sosial dan refleksi metafisik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa budaya instan AI merupakan antitesis bagi pembentukan Malakah. Oleh karena itu, preservasi otentisitas intelektual menuntut penerapan prinsip At-Tadarruj (gradualisme) dan Munazharah (dialektika), serta pergeseran orientasi evaluasi pendidikan dari berbasis produk (output) menjadi berbasis proses untuk mencegah stagnasi nalar manusia. Abstract

Membangun landasan etika berbasis fikih muamalah merupakan pilar fundamental bagi karyawan dalam menjalankan amanah di dunia kerja, terutama di lingkungan institusi pendidikan Islam. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkokoh pemahaman serta implementasi etika fikih muamalah di kalangan karyawan Roya Mart Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor agar mampu mengintegrasikan nilai syariah ke dalam pelayanan profesional. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang meliputi tahapan pemetaan (to look), analisis kritis (to think), dan pelaksanaan program (to act) berupa kajian akidah, diskusi kasus muamalah, serta pendampingan spiritual. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan yang signifikan, di mana 91,8% responden memberikan respon positif (skor 4 dan 5) terhadap internalisasi nilai-nilai fikih muamalah. Indikator integritas dan amanah mencapai efektivitas di atas 90%, meskipun terdapat titik kritis pada aspek stabilitas emosi saat menghadapi masalah sebesar 8,2%. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil mentransformasi orientasi kerja karyawan dari sekadar target materiil menjadi kesadaran spiritual yang berdimensi dakwah.
