Abstract

ABSTRAKNagori Rukun Mulyo merupakan kawasan mata air dan imbuhan air Nagahuta yang digunakan oleh masyarakat dalam bentuk sumur dangkal dan sungai serta menjadi sumber air perusahaan air minum daerah (PDAM) Tirtauli untuk melayani kebutuhan air masyarakat Kabupaten Simalungun dan Kota Pematang Siantar. Perubahan peruntukan tata guna lahan memberi pengaruh pada kawasan imbuhan mata air yaitu berkurangnya daya serap tanah sehingga menurunkan potensi cadangan air tanah, dan berujung pada penurunan debit mata air dan air tanah. Solusi untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut di atas adalah memberi pelatihan berupa : 1). Penguatan kapasitas tentang konservasi sumber daya air dan pelestarian lingkungan 2). Rancang bangun, menentukan titik lokasi dan pembuatan serta pemeliharaan sumur resapan.Sasaran kegiatan adalah para pihak terkait dan masyarakat Nagori Rukun Mulyo. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berupa diskusi dan demonstrasi. Selanjutnya dibangun 15 unit sumur resapan sebagai protype bagi para pihak dan masyarakat. Transfer Iptek ini diharapkan para pihak dan masyarakat mempunyai pemahaman pentingnya sumur resapan sebagai upaya konservasi air dan berkomitmen untuk mereplikasi sumur resapan secara mandiri atau membangun sumur resapan dari sumber pendanaan lainnya serta memelihara sumur resapan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Peningkatan perkebunan kopi robusta tidak diimbanginya dengan kualitas dari biji yang dihasilkan. Hal ini disebabkan karena maraknya penggunaan bibit dari buah kopi yang jatuh ke tanah dan tumbuh disekitaran pohon sebagai bahan tanam kembali (bibit baru). Pembibitan kopi bertujuan menyediakan bibit kopi yang berkualitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Respon Pemberian Biochar tempurung kelapa yang diproduksi dengan sistem retort dan aplikasi pupuk Kohe Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kopi Robusta (Coffea robusta L.). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan 2 ulangan sehingga diperoleh 32 plot penelitian. Faktor yang diteliti adalah Biochar tempurung kelapa dengan simbol “B” yaitu B0= tanpa biochar, B1= dosis 20% , B2= dosis 30%, B3= dosis 40%. Faktor perlakuan Pupuk Kohe Sapi dengan simbol “S” yaitu Kontrol (S0) = tanpa Kohe Sapi, S1 = gram dosis 10 ton/ha, S2 = 20 ton/ha, S3 = 30 ton/ha. Parameter yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, Diameter Batang.

Abstract

Komoditas ubi kayu mempunyai nilai ekonomis dan banyak ditanam di Desa Sampecita Kecamatan Kutalimbaru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Tanaman ubi kayu tidak dibudidayakan dengan perawatan yang intensif, baik dari segi pemupukan, penyiraman, pembersihan gulma maupun hama dan penyakitnya. Umumnya petani dalam pemeliharaan tanaman ubi kayu terutama pengendalian hama dan penyakit tidak melakukan pengendalian. Hama dan penyakit tanaman ubi kayu jika dikendalikan petani secara intensif, maka kualitas dan kuantitas hasil ubi kayu akan lebih baik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada petani ubi kayu di Desa Sampecita Kecamatan Kutalimbaru tentang jenis hama dan penyakit yang menyerang, gejala serangan, dan teknik pengendaliannya. Sasaran penyuluhan ini adalah petani ubi kayu dan kelompok taninya di Desa Sampecita Kecamatan Kutalimbaru.Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah metode penyuluhan dan demonstrasi. Metode penyuluhan pemaparan tentang hama dan penyakit ubi kayu, siklus hidup, kerusakan, serta penjelasan teknik pengendaliannya. Metode demonstrasi meliputi praktek teknik pengendalian yang terdiri dari pertama memperkenalkan musuh alami dan pembuatan pestisida nabati daun mimba. Hasil penilaian kuesioner terhadap petani menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman petani tentang pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman ubi kayu setelah kegiatan pengabdian. Dengan demikian pengabdian ini akan memberi manfaat besar kepada petani ubi kayu dalam mengendalikan hama dan penyakit pada budidaya ubi kayu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how several varieties of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) responded to the provision of composted rice straw waste to enrich goat manure in terms of growth and production. This study used a factorial randomized group design, a method with two factors and three replications. In this study, the first factor was soybean variety (V) divided into four parts, such as V1=Grobogan Soybean Variety, V2=Anjasmoro Soybean Variety, V3=Devon Soybean Variety, and V4=Wilis Soybean Variety. The second factor is grouped from K0 = 0 kg/plot, K1 = 1 kg/plot, K2 = 2 kg/plot, and K3 = 3 kg/plot as four components of rice straw waste compost enriched with goat manure. Meanwhile, the parameters that became the object of research were plant height (cm), number of productive branches, stem diameter (mm), number of pods, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, and weight of 100 seeds. The results explained that the growth response of soybean varieties influenced plant height, number of pods, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, seed production, and 100-seed weight. In contrast, the number of productive branches and stem diameter had no effect. Giving rice straw compost enriched with goat manure affects the number of productive branches and the number of filled pods, while plant height, stem diameter, number of pods, number of empty pods, seed production, and 100 seed weight do not have an effect. The interaction between the application of several varieties of soybean plants and composted rice straw waste enriched with goat manure did not show a significant effect on all parameters of the growth and production of soybean plants.

Abstract

Mango (Mangifera indica) is one species of the mango family that is widely spread in Indonesia. In addition to its sweet and refreshing taste, mangoes also have good properties for health. Mango plants can live at temperatures between 24-27 °C, with rainfall between 750-2500 mm per year, in areas with dry seasons for 3 months. The research was conducted on Jl Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, Binjai City, North Sumatra Province, from January to March 2023. This study used the Non-Factorial Group Randomized Design (RAK) experimental method with 4 levels of treatment (0 ml/liter water, 2 ml/liter water, 4 ml/liter water, and 6 ml/liter water) so that there were 16 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 3 sample plants, bringing the total plant to 48 experimental units. Observation variables in this study include plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of branches, trunk diameter, and branch length. Keywords : Mango Plant, Multi-functional liquid fertilizer INTISARI            Mangga (Mangifera indica) merupakan salah satu spesies dari famili buah mangga yang banyak tersebar di wilayah Indonesia. Selain rasanya yang manis dan menyegarkan, buah mangga juga memiliki khasiat yang baik untuk kesehatan. Tanaman mangga dapat hidup pada temperatur antara 24-27°C, dengan curah hujan antara 750-2500 mm per tahun, didaerah dengan musim kering selama 3 bulan. Penelitian dilakukan di Jl  Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, Kota Binjai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Pada Bulan Januari  sampai dengan Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan (0 ml/liter air, 2 ml/liter air, 4 ml/liter air, dan 6 ml/liter air) sehingga terdapat 16 satuan percobaan. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sampel, sehingga total keseluruhan  tanaman 48 unit percobaan. Variabel pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang, diameter batang, dan panjang cabang. Kata Kunci : Tanaman Mangga, Pupuk cair multi fungsi

Abstract

Sampe Cita is one of the villages in Kutalimbaru sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra province, Indonesia. With its natural resources, there are vegetable and fruit crops that become household business opportunities. This study discusses several types of household businesses from the existing village potential so that it becomes an opportunity for business income. This is important to be considered by village officials to support the development of household enterprises in Sampe Cita village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilahan penelitian Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi di Dusun 3 Desa Sampe Cita, Kecamatan Kutalimbaru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian tempat ± 24 mdpl. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor, yang terdiri dari : faktor I yaitu : M0 = 0 g/tanaman pupuk hayati mikoriza, M1 = 4,5 g/tanaman pupuk hayati mikoriza dan M2 = 9 g/tanaman pupuk hayati mikoriza. faktor II yaitu : P0 = Tidak disiangi, P1 = Bergulma sampai dengan 15 HST, P2 = Bergulma sampai dengan 30 HST, P3 = Bergulma sampai dengan 45 HST dan P4 = Bebas Gulma (tanpa gulma). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perlakuan pupuk hayati mikoriza berbeda tidak nyata pada semua parameter pengamatan dan perlakuan penyiangan gulma berbeda nyata pada parameter bobot jagung berkelobot pertongkol persampel, diameter buah jagung berkelobot pertanaman, bobot tongkol jagung tanpa kelobot per sampel dan panjang tongkol berkelobot. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mycorrhizal biofertilizer and plant spacing on the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. This study was conducted from January 2025 to May 2025 in Sampe Cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors, 16 combinations and 3 replications, resulting in 48 experimental units. The first factor was the application of mycorrhizal biofertilizer consisting of 4 levels (M0: 0g/plant), (M1: 5g/plant), (M2: 10g/plant) and (M3: 15g/plant). The second factor was the plant spacing consisting of 4 treatments (J1: 70 x 15), (J2: 70 x 30), (J3: 70 x 45) and (J4: 70 x 60). The results of this study indicate that the application of mycorrhizal biofertilizer significantly affected plant height at 2 weeks after planting, ear length, fruit diameter, root weight, and root length. However, there were no significant differences in plant height at 4 and 6 weeks after planting, stem diameter, and fruit weight. Planting distance significantly affected stem diameter at 6 weeks after planting, fruit weight, ear length, fruit diameter, and root weight, while there were no significant differences in plant height, stem diameter at 2 and 4 weeks after planting, and root length

Abstract

One of the ways to increase cauliflower productivity is by providing nutrients for plants through the provision of organic materials. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors. The design used in this study was a factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors. The first factor is Biochar (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely: B0 = 0 kg / polybag, B1 = 100 g / polybag, B2 = 200 g / polybag and B3 = 300 g / polybag. The second factor is goat urine (K) which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 = 0 ml / liter of water / plot, K1 = 25 ml / liter of water / plot, K2 = 50 ml / liter of water / plot and K3 = 75 ml / liter of water / plot. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, production per sample, production per plot, cauliflower diameter. The results showed that the provision of biochar fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter, but had a very significant effect on production per sample, production per plot and cauliflower diameter. While the provision of goat urine POC had no significant effect on the number of leaves and stem diameter but had a very significant effect on plant height, production per sample, production per plot and cauliflower diameter. The interaction of the two treatments had no significant effect on all observation parameters.Keywords: cauliflower, biochar, goat urine POC

Abstract

This study aims to increase the growth and yield of glutinous corn which is efficient on the treatment of planting distance and frequency of weeding. This research was conducted at Gelugur Rimbun Research Field of Panca Budi Development University Medan. in Sampe cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province with a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the effect of planting distance consisting of 4 treatments namely J1 (50cm x 15cm), J2 (50cm x 30cm), J3 (50cm x 45cm), J4 (50cm x 60cm), the second factor is the effect of weed weeding frequency consisting of 4 treatments namely P0 (Weed free), P1 (7,14,21 days after planting), P2 (14,28,42 days after planting), P3 (21 and 42 days after planting), Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The results of this study showed that the effect of planting distance and weed weeding frequency had a significant effect on the number of fruiting parameters and had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, flowering age, fruit length, fruit diameter, weight of weighted fruit, and weight of weightless fruit. Judging from the most dominant average value in this study on the effect of planting distance, there was a treatment of planting distance J3 (50 cm x 45 cm), and the effect of weed removal frequency did not produce the most dominant average value for all observation parameters.
