Abstract

An orphanage is an institution that replaces the role of parents in nurturing, maintaining, caring for, and educating children. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education values, obstacles, and efforts made in orphanages. This study uses a literature review method. The data collection technique used google scholar with the keywords "implementation of character education values" and "character education in orphanages". The number of articles reviewed is 10 articles. The results of the research from these 10 articles show that the implementation of character education values in orphanages comes from 18 Pancasila character values, but only 3 appear to be implemented consistently, namely religious, tolerant and democratic. The obstacles faced are that it takes a long time to foster children's character due to differences in background, caregivers do not prioritize character education, lack of infrastructure and human resources while the efforts made are to give roles to social volunteers to maximize human resources in fostering foster children, establish cooperation with the community, making orphanages like their own family environment.Keywords: Application of Character Education, Application of Values, Character education values, Orphanages, Pancasila values, the role of caregivers

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan kekuasaan yang sering dilakukan oleh para aktor politik dalam dunia politik menimbulkan persepsi bahwa tujuan utama berpartisipasi dalam politik hanyalah untuk memperoleh kekuasaan. Hanya ada sedikit penelitian mengenai kekuatan organisasi dan politik. Beberapa penelitian sebenarnya menghasilkan kesimpulan berbeda. Ketika setiap individu berinteraksi untuk mempengaruhi tindakan satu sama lain, maka terjadilah pertukaran kekuasaan dalam interaksi tersebut. Pada dasarnya tujuan penggunaan kekuasaan dalam politik adalah untuk mengatur kepentingan masyarakat secara keseluruhan, bukan individu atau kelompok. Oleh karena itu, pembatasan kekuasaan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemegang kekuasaan serta menciptakan keadilan dan kenyamanan dalam hidup. Politik dan kekuasaan dijalankan untuk menyeimbangkan kepentingan individu pekerja dan manajer dengan kepentingan organisasi.

Abstract

Human resources need to be managed properly so that they can play a role in accordance with their functions. That is why there is a need for human resource management. Human resource management is a process related to the implementation of human resource management or management functions which are directly handed over to the school education unit to be developed in accordance with the potential possessed by the school. The scope of human resource management includes: employee planning; employee procurement; employee coaching and development; promotion and mutation; dismissal of employees; compensation, and employee assessment. All of that needs to be done properly and correctly so that what is expected can be achieved

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts of teachers in preserving local cultural values through a Workshop on Developing Simple Teaching Modules with Local Content in Tombulu Language at Walian Elementary School, INPRES 4/82. This research adopts a qualitative research approach with a descriptive type. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the research indicate that the efforts of teachers in preserving local cultural values at Walian Elementary School, INPRES 4/82, are carried out through a Workshop on Developing Simple Teaching Modules with Local Content in Tombulu Language, which involves three stages of activities: Preparation stage, which involves preparing an Implementation Plan for the Workshop used as a guide in the upcoming activities. This includes preparing media, material, and competent speakers. Implementation stage, where on the first day, speakers provide an introduction, and participating teachers give feedback. The focus of the first day is on sharing and exchanging information related to Tombulu language proficiency. On the second day, teachers discuss and receive tasks to interview and collect data from parents or Tombulu language speakers. Additionally, teachers review written sources about Tombulu language. On the third day, teachers discuss and collect interview results. During this day, teachers, together with the speakers, formulate the structure of the teaching module. Evaluation stage, where evaluation is conducted collectively by teachers, the school principal, and speakers to determine whether the developed module is suitable for printing and use.
