Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the care of elderly patients underwent significant changes. Society tends to avoid interaction outside the family, encouraging increased care of elderly patients at home. In this situation, the role of medical personnel becomes essential. This study examines how knowledge, culture, and interest influence homecare services during a pandemic. Respondents regarding homecare were collected from 71 families through a questionnaire. Data analysis includes univariate, bivariate and multivariate aspects to provide an overview of the relationship between variables. All data were analyzed using SPSS software. The result of this study shows p-value of each construct is less than 0.10, which indicates a strong relationship between variables. The findings show that knowledge influences family decisions about home care (p-value=0.024<0.10), while culture (pvalue=0.999>0.10) and interests (p-value=0.999>0.10) do not support acceptance of this service for the elderly. Therefore, it is hoped that respondents will increase their knowledge of improving elderly care and utilization of health services, which will positively impact the quality of life in old age. An in-depth discussion of these findings is carried out in a research paper.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rumah sakit khususnya Instalasi gawat darurat mempunyai tujuan agar tercapai pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal pada pasien secara cepatdan tepat serta terpadu dalam penanganan tingkat kegawat daruratan sehingga mampu mencegah resiko kecacatan dan kematian (to save life and limb) dengan respontime selama 5 menit. Beragamnya jenis penyakit dan kondisi pasien, serta banyaknya kunjungan yang datang bersamaan ke IGD telah mengakbatkan kepadatan di IGD. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan respon time perawat terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien di RSUD Doloksanggul Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Tahun 2023. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain crosssectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April – Mei di RSUDDoloksanggul Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan.Popul asi sebanyak 561orang dan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan jumlah sampel 41 orang. Hasil: Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kemudian diolah dengan uji chi-square dengan nilai ? 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel respon time memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien menggunakan uji chi square dengan tingkat kepuasan 60% dimana p value 0,035 < ? 0,05.. Diskusi: Tingkat cepat tanggap pelayanan IGD terhadap pasien yang datang akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap sebuah kepuasan pelanggan / pasien, pengetahuan dan kompeten seorang petugas IGD akan membentuk sebuah manajemen di IGD akan menjadi baik,dan seiring membaiknya sebuah manajemen IGD untuk melayani pasien yang datang ke IGD semakin membaik.

Abstract

Stunting is still a major nutritional problem for babies and children under two years of age in Indonesia. This condition must be immediately eradicated because it will hinder the momentum of Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. The main causes of stunting include inadequate nutrition and nutrition intake for children, wrong parenting patterns due to lack of knowledge and education for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, poor environmental sanitation. living and limited access to health facilities. An alternative local food processing that can be introduced to the community is tofu nuggets. Tofu can be processed into various shapes and other types of food, one of which is tofu nuggets. The aim of this activity is to improve mothers' skills in processing tofu nuggets to prevent stunting in toddlers. This type of activity is a demonstration of processing tofu nuggets for 30 mothers who have children aged ≤ 2 years in Pasaribu Village. The results show that there are differences in mothers' knowledge and skills before and after practice/demonstration. The results of interviews with participants stated that practice/demonstration was very helpful in conveying information about processing balanced nutrition for toddlers to mothers so that the information could be conveyed more clearly and precisely. Demonstration activities also explain an object that can be given, for example the food consumed contains carbohydrates, protein, minerals and so on. The hope of this research is for mothers who have toddlers to make efforts to prevent stunting (fulfilment of pregnancy nutrition and blood supplement tablets, exclusive breastfeeding, MP-ASI, giving Vitamin A, complete basic immunization, PHBS, monitoring babies and toddlers at posyandu and paying attention to fulfilling balanced nutrition for children). By trying to process/utilize local food ingredients with interesting variations so that they attract children's attention to consume them. Keywords: Knowledge, Skills, Nugget Processing, Stunting.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi utama bagi bayi dan anak dibawah usia dua tahun di Indonesia. Berdasarkan survei Studi Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2021, prevalensi stunting sebesar 24,4%. Melalui DASHAT diharapkan masyarakat mendapatkan akses pelayanan makanan bergizi, peningkatan keterampilan menyajikan menu bergizi, keterampilan pengelolaan usaha kecil dan beberapa manfaat lainnya (BKKBN, 2022). Salah satu makanan cepat saji yang menjadi alternatif masyarakat adalah nugget. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pengolahan nugget tahu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan ibu mencegah stunting pada balita di Desa Pasaribu Tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperiment  dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experiment design) ini menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki balita usia di Desa Pasaribu Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan tahun 2024 yaitu sebanyak 84 orang dengan jumlah sampel 24 orang. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Pasaribu Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan pada bulan Februari -Juni 2024. Instrumen pada penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, Data dianalisa menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji paired sample test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) pada pengetahuan nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,000 < 0,05 dan keterampilan nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,000 < 0,05 maka ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan praktek pengolahan nugget dalam mencegah stunting. Maka Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pengolahan nugget tahu dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu mencegah stunting pada balita di Desa Pasaribu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan praktek pengolahan nugget tahu. Disarankan untuk ibu lebih kreatif dalam memberikan makasanan tambahan pada balita.Kata Kunci : Balita,  Pengolahan Nugget Tahu, StuntingStunting is still a major nutritional problem for infants and children under the age of two in Indonesia. The population in this study is all mothers who have toddlers in Pasaribu Village, Doloksanggul District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency in 2024, which is 84 people with a sample of 24 people. The research was conducted in Pasaribu Village, Doloksanggul District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency in February-June 2024. The instruments in the study used questionnaires, the data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the paired sample test. The results of the study showed that the value of sig. (2-tailed) in knowledge the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05 and the significance value of skill is 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a significant difference between knowledge and skills before and after the practice of nugget processing in preventing stunting. So the conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of tofu nugget processing in improving maternal knowledge and skills to prevent stunting in toddlers in Pasaribu Village before and after the practice of tofu nugget processing is carried out. It is recommended for mothers to be more creative in providing additional support to toddlers.Keywords: Toddlers, Tofu Nugget Processing, Stunting

lanjut usia menghadapi tekanan atau tuntutan yang melampaui kapasitas mereka dalam menghadapinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap lansia terhadap terapi musik dengan tingkat stres yang mereka alami. Studi dilakukan di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Anak dan Lanjut Usia di Kecamatan Siborong-borong, Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara pada tahun 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode analitik dengan uji Chi-Square, melibatkan 30 responden lansia sebagai sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan lansia tentang terapi musik dengan tingkat stres mereka (p = 1,000). Selain itu, sikap lansia terhadap terapi musik juga tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan tingkat stres (p = 0,224). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa baik pengetahuan maupun sikap terhadap musik tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap tingkat stres pada lansia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengidentifikasi variabel lain yang mungkin lebih relevan dalam memengaruhi stres lansia. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan pendekatan atau intervensi alternatif yang lebih efektif dalam membantu menurunkan tingkat stres di kalangan lansia, khususnya yang tinggal di panti sosial atau panti asuhan

Abstract

Nutrition during the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK), starting from pregnancy to the child’s second birthday, is a critical period that determines the quality of a child’s growth and development. Low maternal knowledge regarding 1000 HPK nutrition is one of the main factors contributing to the risk of stunting in children. This study aims to analyze the effect of nutrition education on improving the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of pregnant women in preventing stunting in the working area of Matiti Community Health Center, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group approach. The population consisted of 149 pregnant women, with a total sample of 60 participants divided into intervention and control groups using purposive sampling. The intervention was delivered through lectures and poster media over a two-week period. The variables measured were knowledge, attitudes, and practices of pregnant women. A standardized questionnaire was used, and data were analyzed using the Paired Samples Test. The results showed a significant improvement in the intervention group after the education session, with the mean knowledge score increasing from 10.83 to 15.93 (p = 0.000), attitude from 21.06 to 33.10 (p = 0.000), and practices from 4.36 to 8.93 (p = 0.000). In contrast, the control group showed no significant changes. The education intervention using lectures and posters proved effective in enhancing pregnant women’s nutritional behavior. It can be concluded that 1000 HPK nutrition education significantly improves the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of pregnant women. It is recommended that such educational programs be widely implemented by healthcare workers as a strategic effort to prevent stunting, especially in areas with high prevalence.
