Abstract

This research is driven by a need to gain insight into the key roles that effective leadership plays in achieving optimal performance within teams. In order to fully comprehend the dynamics of team leadership, it is essential to have a robust theoretical and conceptual framework in place. This understanding will help us to identify the factors that influence team performance, and in particular, the role that effective communication, positive feedback, rewards and recognition, and the creation of a supportive work environment plays in motivating teams. In addition, it is vital to consider the key factors that influence the performance of high-functioning teams, which include elements such as team trust, collaboration, effective communication, and leader support. This research employs the methodology of a literature study to ascertain the role of leadership in organizations. In conclusion, team leadership plays an essential role in achieving effective team performance in organizations. By developing a robust theoretical and conceptual framework, leaders can cultivate the practical and strategic insights necessary to lead teams effectively. Effective leaders influence team performance motivation, manage conflict, build cooperation, and create a supportive work environment. The significance of effective team performance is also evidenced by the key factors that influence great team performance. In practice, leaders must be able to apply these insights in a practical manner in order to achieve the desired results.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pentingnya manajemen profil pekerja di website Jobstreet sebagai kesempatan karier di kalangan gen Z. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dalam bentuk pelatihan tutorial. Untuk mendukung kegiatan pelatihan tutorial ini diperlukan data tambahan yang berguna membantu penjelasan tutorial yakni menggunakan data sekunder. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa manajemen profil pekerja adalah proses membuat profil pekerja dan mengelola profil tersebut dalam suatu organisasi atau perusahaan. Profil pekerja biasanya berisi informasi tentang karakteristik pribadi dan profesional. Manajemen profil pekerja di website Jobstreet sebagai kesempatan karier di kalangan gen Z dimulai dengan pembuatan informasi pribadi, ringkasan pribadi, riwayat karier, pendidikan, dan keahlian.

Abstract

The warehouse is an important asset for the company, as is the warehouse administration process. If the warehouse administration process does not run well, each company will experience inaccuracy in calculating the stock of goods in the warehouse. Furthermore, warehouse administration plays a crucial role in streamlining the processing and management of goods data. In the warehouse administration process in companies in West Java, of course, there are several obstacles, such as inaccurate data accuracy, the process of recording the number of products, the process of checking products, the process of storing products, and the incompatibility of the requested goods with the goods sent. so that a warehouse must really implement an effective and efficient warehouse administration system to help smooth its business. The company devises various solutions to overcome obstacles. The goal of this study is to examine the warehouse administration strategies employed by companies in West Java. This study employs a literature review method, examining several Indonesian journals. The study's findings show that companies in West Java use a variety of warehouse management techniques, such as first-in, first-out (FIFO), perpetual, periodic, average, and class-based storage. For several of these methods, there are advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu para staf PKBM Ristek Nusantara dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan (soft skill) yang akan digunakan dalam membekali peserta didik menjadi lulusan yang siap terap dan memiliki kepercayaan diri untuk dapat tampil di muka umum. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di gedung PKBM Ristek Nusantara Jaya Raya Jakarta pada tanggal 23 Juni 2023 dengan durasi 3 jam. Kegiatan ini diisi oleh dosen Politenik LP3I yang sesuai bidang keahlian untuk menjadi narasumber sesuai dengan tema kegiatan. Tahapan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu diawali dengan persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, dilanjutkan dengan tahapan pelaksanaan pelatihan dan tahapan pembuatan laporan kegiatan serta dokumentasi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai dengan rencana. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu dapat menambah pengetahuan dan meningkatkan semangat para staf PKBM Ristek Nusantara dalam meningkatkan service excellent melalui personality development dan communication skills. Selain itu, luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah publikasi jurnal pengabdian masyarakat di jurnal ilmiah nasional.

Abstract

The concept of work-life balance has undergone significant evolution in recent decades, reflecting shifting priorities and values in human resource management practices. This literature review explores the dynamic nature of work-life balance and its redefinition within contemporary organizational contexts. Drawing on scholarly works published from 2019 onwards, the review synthesizes key themes and trends surrounding work-life balance, encompassing factors such as technology integration, flexible work arrangements, and organizational culture. The analysis highlights the increasing emphasis placed on employee well-being and satisfaction, as organizations recognize the integral role of work-life balance in enhancing productivity and fostering a positive workplace environment. Moreover, the review examines the challenges and opportunities associated with achieving work-life balance amidst evolving societal norms and economic landscapes. By elucidating current perspectives and empirical findings, this paper contributes to a nuanced understanding of work-life balance dynamics and informs strategic approaches to human resource management in contemporary organizations.

This article explores Competency-Based Performance Management Practices (CBPMP) within the context of driving employee career development, focusing on a case study in a financial services company. The literature review delves into the foundational principles of CBPMP, emphasizing its role in aligning employee skills with organizational goals and fostering continuous improvement. Key themes include the identification of core competencies, performance appraisal methods, and the integration of career development pathways. The case study offers insights into how CBPMP strategies are implemented and their impact on employee motivation, skill enhancement, and career progression. Findings underscore the significance of strategic alignment between performance management and career development initiatives for achieving organizational success and employee satisfaction. The article contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting best practices, challenges, and opportunities in leveraging CBPMP to enhance employee performance and career growth in the financial services sector.
