Abstract

This The rapid advancement of technology and the internet has greatly facilitated human interaction and communication. However, alongside its benefits, the swift development of the internet also brings negative impacts, such as cyberbullying behavior. Therefore, it is crucial to promote the wise use of social media to raise awareness, particularly among school children, about the dangers of its misuse. The community service program at SMK 1 Sukoharjo aims to enhance students' understanding of how to use social media properly and responsibly, and to avoid engaging in cyberbullying in their daily lives. Through this outreach and education, students are provided with detailed explanations and engage in discussions about the benefits of social media as well as the risks associated with cyberbullying in the digital world.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is the state of an individual who is physically and mentally healthy. A form of psychological well-being is a feeling of happiness or satisfaction where the individual can feel that their psychological condition is in good condition. The research objective was to determine the correlation between gratitude and psychological well-being in scholarship students at the X University of Pringsewu. This research employed a quantitative approach and a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 125 students who received scholarships. This research data uses product moment analysis techniques using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 25.0 for Windows program. Based on the results of the product moment analysis (r = 0.773; P = 0.000), this data analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between gratitude and psychological well-being in scholarship students at the X University of Pringsewu. This means that the higher the gratitude towards students, the higher the level of psychological well-being they have. Conversely, students who are less grateful also tend to be less psychologically well-off. Gratitude has a 59,7% coefficient of determination when it comes to psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study investigates the correlation between emotional intelligence and social support on academic achievement among high school students. Utilizing a non-experimental quantitative approach with purposive sampling, data were collected from 70 students aged 15-18 years in grades X-XII at SMAN XY Lampung Selatan. Emotional intelligence was assessed using Goleman's Emotional Intelligence Competencies (GEIC), social support was measured with the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), and academic performance was evaluated based on the previous semester's scores. Multiple regression analysis revealed that emotional intelligence and social support collectively contribute 68.6% to academic achievement, indicating that 31.4% of the variance is attributable to other factors not examined in this study. Based on the data analysis, emotional intelligence and social support significantly influence students' academic achievement in SMAN XY Lampung Selatan. This research is expected to provide practical contributions for schools, teachers, and parents to train students' emotional intelligence and enhance social support, enabling students to demonstrate optimal academic performance. Theoretical contributions are also anticipated to enrich studies on psychological variables supporting academic achievement in educational psychology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dan harga diri dengan status identitas diri remaja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI SMA. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala konformitas teman sebaya, skala harga diri dan skala status identitas diri. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi berganda dengan menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) for windows 23.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dan harga diri dengan status identitas diri pada remaja, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai r sebesar 0,544 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,000 (p<0,01). Ada hubungan yang positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan status identitas diri pada remaja, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai r sebesar 0,248 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,009 (p< 0,01). Ada hubungan yang positif antara harga diri dengan status identitas diri pada remaja. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai r 0,543 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,000( p<0,01). Sumbangan efektif variabel konformitas teman sebaya dan harga terhadap status identitas diri sebesar 29.6%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara konformitas teman sebaya dan harga diri dengan status identitas diri pada remaja . Ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan status identitas diri pada remaja. Ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara harga diri dengan status identitas diri pada remaja.

Abstract

Remaja merupakan pengguna media sosial aktif di Indonesia, namun hal tersebut tidak diiringi dengan pemahaman dalam bermedia sosial yang bijak. Akibatnya, banyak siswa yang mengalami gangguan mental,  mudah terkena hoax dan tidak jarang juga siswa mengalami porn revenge. Tingginya penggunaan media sosial oleh remaja khususnya siswa perlu penanganan serius agar dampak negatif dari penggunaan internet dapat diminimalisir. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di SMK Karya Bakti Pringsewu. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa SMK Karya Bakti Pringsewu terkait menjadi pengguna media sosial yang bijak, etika menggunakan media sosial, dan memanfaatkan media sosial  untuk pengembangan potensi diri. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa sosialisasi. Hasil dari sosialisasi menunjukan siswa telah memahami cara penggunaan media sosial yang bijak. Dengan adanya kesadaran diri dan pengetahuan, siswa dapat menjadikan media sosial sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan potensi diri.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students. The method used in training is through lectures, discussions, assignments, questions and answers. The presenter delivers psychoeducation about careers to open up insight into the benefits and importance of careers for students, self-awareness to increase self-awareness, Johari window to increase knowledge about oneself, set the goals using the SMART method, reveal one's potential through SWOT analysis, and personality analysis through the RIASEC test to determine the suitability of personality with the desired career. Measurements were carried out twice. The first measurement (pre-test) is carried out before implementing the program to determine the initial conditions for student career decision-making. The second measurement (post-test) is carried out after students receive career training. Next, the results of the pre-test and post-test data were statistically analyzed using a paired-sample t-test using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. The results of the PKM activities carried out show that career planning training is able to increase the career maturity of MA students. Students' understanding of themselves will help them determine their career plans in accordance with their interests and talents.Keyword : career maturity; career training; students

Abstract

This research explores how advances in information technology, particularly through social media, have transformed communication patterns and influenced teenagers' body image perceptions. Employing a qualitative approach, the study conducted in-depth interviews with three teenage girls aged 17-21 who are active on social media. The findings indicate that many participants experience dissatisfaction with their bodies due to comparisons with prevalent beauty standards. This aligns with social comparison theory, which suggests that individuals often evaluate their appearance by contrasting themselves with others. Social interactions on social media, including comments and likes, also play a significant role in shaping self-confidence. While the pressure to conform to unrealistic beauty ideals is a notable negative effect, some participants reported feeling motivated to pursue healthier lifestyles as a positive outcome. The study highlights the need for effective interventions aimed at educating adolescents about healthy social media use and raising awareness of its potential effects on body image.

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan pengalaman dimana individu bisa meraih Pendidikan dan memperoleh pembelajaran. sekolah harusnya menciptakan kondisi yang nyaman, dan aman bagi siswanya ketika berada di lingkungan sekolah sehingga siswa merasa sejahtera dan puas. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi school well being adalah self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan School Well Being Pada Siswa Di SMA X. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari peserta didik kelas X, XI, XII di SMA X, yang berjumlah 156, dengan sampel sebanyak 156 peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara self efficacy dan scholl well being pada siswa SMA, dengan nilai korelasi product moment sebesar r = 0,768 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Ini berarti semakin Semakin tinggi self efficacy pada siswa maka school well being juga akan tinggi, begitu juga sebaliknya bila self efficacy siswa rendah maka school well being juga rendah.
