Abstract

Pengelolaan klaim BPJS rawat inap menjadi tantangan utama dalam penerapan sistem pembiayaan berbasis Casemix (INA-CBG’s) di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi proses klaim BPJS di RS Paru Ario Wirawan Salatiga, dengan fokus pada kendala teknis, integrasi sistem informasi, kelengkapan dokumen pendukung, serta peran case manager. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap lima informan kunci yang dipilih secara purposive dari unit Casemix, SIMRS, dan manajemen pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, belum optimalnya integrasi SIMRS dengan aplikasi e-Klaim, serta proses pemindaian manual merupakan hambatan utama dalam pengajuan klaim. Selain itu, ditemukan ketidaklengkapan dokumen pendukung seperti form diagnosis, hasil penunjang dari luar, dan resume medis, yang berdampak pada klaim pending. Peran case manager dalam monitoring biaya belum berjalan maksimal karena keterlibatan yang terbatas sejak awal pelayanan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan infrastruktur digital, optimalisasi bridging SIMRS, pelatihan SDM, dan penyusunan SOP dokumen pendukung sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses klaim BPJS di rumah sakit vertikal. Abstract

AbstractCommunity Health Centers (Puskesmas) play a vital role in providing primary healthcare services. Patient satisfaction serves as a key indicator of service quality, often linked to waiting time efficiency and facility comfort. However, scientific evidence regarding these relationships remains varied. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between waiting time efficiency and facility comfort with patient satisfaction at UPTD Puskesmas Sukakarya, Sukabumi City. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. The sample consisted of 111 patients selected through incidental sampling. Data were collected using a Guttman scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using the Chi-Square test to assess the relationship between the independent variables (waiting time efficiency and facility comfort) and the dependent variable (patient satisfaction). The results showed no significant relationship between waiting time efficiency and patient satisfaction (p = 0.965), nor between facility comfort and patient satisfaction (p = 0.384). These findings suggest that waiting time and facility comfort do not significantly influence patient satisfaction. Other factors such as healthcare staff interaction, information transparency, and administrative efficiency may play a more dominant role in shaping patient perceptions of healthcare services. Therefore, enhancing communication and service quality from medical personnel should be prioritized to improve overall patient satisfaction.Keyword: patient satisfaction, waiting time, facility comfort, healthcare service, Chi-Square testAbstrakPusat Kesehatan Masyarakat (Puskesmas) memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan primer kepada masyarakat. Kepuasan pasien merupakan indikator utama dalam menilai kualitas layanan, yang sering diasosiasikan dengan efisiensi waktu tunggu dan kenyamanan fasilitas. Namun, hubungan antara faktor-faktor tersebut dengan kepuasan pasien masih menunjukkan hasil yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara efisiensi waktu tunggu dan kenyamanan fasilitas dengan kepuasan pasien di UPTD Puskesmas Sukakarya, Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional). Sampel terdiri dari 111 pasien yang dipilih melalui metode incidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis Skala Guttman dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efisiensi waktu tunggu dengan kepuasan pasien (p = 0,965) maupun antara kenyamanan fasilitas dengan kepuasan pasien (p = 0,384). Dengan demikian, efisiensi waktu tunggu dan kenyamanan fasilitas tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor lain seperti kualitas komunikasi tenaga medis, transparansi informasi, dan efisiensi administrasi kemungkinan memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap persepsi pasien terhadap layanan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan aspek komunikasi dan kualitas interaksi antara tenaga medis dan pasien perlu menjadi prioritas dalam upaya meningkatkan kepuasan layanan.Kata Kunci: kepuasan pasien, waktu tunggu, kenyamanan fasilitas, layanan kesehatan

Abstract

The implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is essential for improving the efficiency of healthcare services. The use of applications in healthcare services, such as the application for providing elective surgery medical record files at the NTB Provincial General Hospital, still faces challenges in its usage. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of elective surgery medical record requests using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which includes aspects of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, behavioral intention, and actual use. This research uses a qualitative method, with data collected through observations and interviews with four informants who regularly use this application. The results show that the perceived ease of use of the application remains low, with many users feeling inexperienced and lacking understanding of how to operate it. On the other hand, perceived usefulness indicates that the application is effective in improving work time efficiency and productivity. Users' attitudes toward the application are considered fairly positive, although there are still obstacles that hinder full acceptance in accordance with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Users’ behavioral intention toward the application is relatively high. The actual use of the application shows that medical record officers use it routinely. Despite technical issues, they remain proactive in seeking solutions for using the system.

Abstract

Rumah sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong sudah menerapkan Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) sejak 20 Desember 2024, salah satu unit yang telah menerapkan sistem RME adalah bagian rawat jalan. Dalam penerapannya, RME ini kurang berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini karena masalah yang sering terjadi dari sistem koneksi internet yang kadang lambat dan kesempurnaan menu yang perlu dikaji secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menganalisis penerapan Rekam Medis Elektronik Rawat Jalan di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong dari aspek Performance, Informasi, Economic, Control, Effeciency dan Service guna memastikan bahwa sistem beroperasi secara efektif dan efisien dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pelayanan Rawat Jalan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi berdasarkan aspek PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan RME di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong dapat meningkatkan mutu pelayanan rawat jalan, terutama dalam mengurangi waktu tunggu pasien. Berdasarkan aspek Performance terkendala ketidakstabilan internet, terutama saat jumlah pasien yang berkunjung meningkat. Berdasarkan aspek Information perlu penyempurnaan pada menu dokter dan farmasi. Berdasarkan Aspek Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service saat ini sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The implementation of the Indonesian Case Based Groups (INA-CBG) system is a crucial instrument in the National Health Insurance (JKN) program for the payment of health service claims at advanced referral health facilities (FKRTL). The success of this system depends heavily on the accuracy of the codification of the diagnosis (ICD-10) and the action/procedure (ICD-9-CM) which is a representation of the service output. Code accuracy is not only essential for the collection of claim costs, but also plays an important role in nursing care, improving service quality, and analyzing morbidity-mortality data. A preliminary study at Dr. Harjono S. Ponorogo Hospital in January-February 2025 found 12 outpatient claim files (cardiac and neurological polys) in the June-August 2024 period with inaccuracies in the code of procedure, including 10 files that were not coded and 2 files that were incorrectly coded. Furthermore, initial observations through interviews with internal verifiers indicated the absence of a Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) for coding BPJS patients and the absence of coding evaluations from internal parties and hospital management. Based on these problems, this study aims to analyze the factors that cause the inaccuracy of the procedure code of outpatient BPJS patients at Dr. Harjono S. Hospital, Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

Incomplete documentation of pediatric inpatient electronic medical records at Karya Medika Bantar Gebang Hospital affects the quality of medical recordkeeping. A preliminary study revealed completeness rates of 100% for identification, 70% for important reports, 65% for accurate documentation, and 85% for authentication. This study aimed to analyze the factors contributing to these deficiencies. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, involving one medical record officer, two pediatric ward supervisors, and one triangulation informant. The research covered 764 pediatric inpatient electronic medical records from January to June 2025, with a random sample of 88 records determined using the Slovin formula. The results identified five contributing factors: human (incomplete entries by physicians), machine (unstable internet connection), money (no training budget), method (absence of standard operating procedures), and material (lack of tools for completeness analysis). The highest incompleteness occurred in accurate documentation and important reports. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the need to implement a reward and punishment system, provide backup modems, allocate budgets for staff training, establish SOPs in accordance with regulations, and utilize checklists as an evaluation tool.

Abstract

The explosion of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia starting in early July 2021 has gradually decreased significantly. Community participation to comply with government regulations is one of the keys to this success. The government has allowed learning to be conducted face-to-face on campus with various predetermined conditions. The success of this limited face-to-face learning program cannot spare students' readiness to follow all the rules, including the implementation of health protocols and vaccinations. This study aims to determine the understanding of students' attitudes and behavior towards COVID-19 during online learning. The study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of Indonesian Polytechnic students. The data was taken using an online questionnaire and then analyzed. Based on the data obtained, the level of student knowledge about COVID-19 is good. Students' attitude towards COVID-19 is also good, and most students are ready to vaccinate for health reasons. Students' behavior has also shown positive behavior, which means students are ready to carry out face-to-face learning in a limited manner with strict health protocols.
