Abstract

Indirect tobacco prices influence the consumption patterns of tobacco farming families in Sukorejo Village. The aim of this research is to better understand the indirect impact of tobacco prices on people's purchasing decisions and how this influences the consumption patterns of tobacco farming families. This research uses a qualitative approach with researchers conducting direct interviews and documentation as instruments. The population studied were tobacco farmers in Sukorejo Village, Kotaanyar District. The results of the interviews show that: (1) Indirect tobacco prices influence the consumption patterns of tobacco farming families in Sukorejo Village. (2) Tobacco farming is able to meet the economic needs of farming families. (3) the income from tobacco farming in Sukorejo Village is very good. The conclusion is that indirect tobacco prices influence the consumption patterns of tobacco farming families in Sukorejo Village and also the income from tobacco farming can meet the needs of their families during one harvest, but farmers also seek additional income through other jobs such as construction workers, animal husbandry, and home businesses such as selling meatballs, cilok , and so forth.

Abstract

The use of QRIS tends to influence the consumption behavior of 2021 Economics Study Program students at Nurul Jadid University. This research aims to further explore the influence of using QRIS on consumption behavior among students as well as the benefits obtained from using QRIS. This research uses a qualitative approach, where researchers directly conduct interviews, observations and documentation as data collection tools. The population studied was students from the Economic Study Program Class of 2021 at Nurul Jadid University. The interview results revealed that: (1) The use of QRIS tends to influence students' consumption behavior. (2) Using QRIS provides convenience for both buyers and sellers. (3) Payment via QRIS can reduce the risk of losing money, offer special offers and discounts, and help students track their expenses. The conclusion is that the use of QRIS influences the consumption behavior of 2021 Economics Study Program students at Nurul Jadid University and also provides convenience for sellers. Apart from that, using QRIS helps some students get special offers and discounts and makes it easier for them to track expenses.

Abstract

Abstract: The community economic empowerment program through a community-based donut home industry in Sumberanyar Village, Paiton District, Probolinggo, aims to improve production and marketing skills and support the economic welfare of the community. This program succeeded in improving participants' technical skills in donut making, strengthening marketing strategies, and contributing significantly to increasing participants' income. However, the program also faces several limitations, such as limited access to capital, obstacles to technology adoption, and fluctuations in market demand. The method used in this service is qualitative with a participatory approach which emphasizes the active involvement of the community in the service process. The implications of the success of this program show that community-based economic empowerment can be an effective model for improving local prosperity and has the potential to be replicated in other areas. To overcome existing limitations, additional support is recommended in the form of access to microfinance, advanced technology training, as well as product diversification and expansion of marketing networks. By implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that the program can achieve sustainability and provide a broader and more sustainable impact on the community Keywords: Empowerment; Community Economy; Home Industry

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterlibatan pemerintah, khususnya melalui Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (DKUPP) Kabupaten Probolinggo, dalam menyalurkan program bantuan serta pelatihan guna mendorong peningkatan produktivitas industri rumahan di Kecamatan Gading. Studi ini memfokuskan pada eksplorasi jenis dukungan dan pelatihan yang telah diberikan, cara penyalurannya, serta pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan daya saing pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil di sektor tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam terhadap pelaku dan karyawan industri rumahan serta perwakilan DKUPP, observasi langsung di lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Temuan dari studi ini diharapkan mampu mengungkap faktor-faktor yang mendorong maupun menghambat keberhasilan program, serta menghasilkan rekomendasi kebijakan yang lebih tepat sasaran untuk memperkuat eksistensi industri rumahan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran pemerintah dalam menciptakan iklim usaha yang mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman lebih lanjut mengenai peran intervensi pemerintah dalam pengembangan sektor informal dan dampaknya terhadap pembangunan ekonomi di tingkat kecamatan.
