Abstract

This study uses qualitative research methods with an explanatory approach. Source of data derived from primary data and secondary data. The analysis technique used is the technique of multiple linear regression analysis.From the test results is known that two independent variables work discipline and give effect to the variable compensation tied to the performance of employees amounted, which means that the independent variable discipline and compensation work together or simultaneously significant effect on the dependent variable employee performance in Institutions of Brilliant Education Centre Probolinggo and the remaininginfluenced by other variables outside two independent variables studied. Thus the first hypothesis in this proven research. From the results of multiple linear regression equation, the effect of independent variables work discipline and compensation with employee performance dependent variable on Institutions of Brilliant Education Centre Probolinggo there was a strong and significant influence. Abstract

Di Indonesia pada 17 Juli 2020 telah terinfeksi penyakit Coronavirus atau Covid-19 dengan jumlah terinfeksi sejumlah 83.130 orang, dengan jumlah kematian mencapai 3.957 orang, jumlah pasien sembuh 41.834 orang. Virus ini telah menginfeksi saluran pernafasan manusia yang penyebarannya disebabkan melalui kontak fisik. Menteri Kesehatan RI telah mengeluarkan surat edaran mengenai protokol pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19, yang salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan masker bagi masyarakat yang keluar dari rumah. Dengan penggunaan masker diharapkan dapt meminimalisir penularan virus. Kebutuhan masker medis mengalami peningkatan yang spesifik sehingga mengakibatkan kelangkaan. Terdapat alternatif yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penggunaan kain masker. Oleh karena beberapa fenomena yang terjadi tersebut KKN di Wilayah Az-Zainiyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid berinisiatif untuk melakukan kegiatan pembuatan masker dalam rangka meningkatkan perekonomian santri dan melakukan sosialisasi serta membagikan masker secara gratis untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan penggunaan masker.

Abstract

Narcotics abuse is still a serious threat in Indonesia, especially its use is very widespread by some of the public figures of the artists involved in it. So that it becomes a spotlight for young people, especially those whose lives are still unstable, seeing public figures as examples of current trends in the millennial world. The purpose of this study is to minimize and overcome the use of narcotics from various circles, both public figures, BNN, the Police, and the community. The problem approach used in this research is a normative juridical approach and an empirical juridical approach, namely an approach that is carried out through studies of theories, concepts, views, and aspects related to the problems discussed. The results of this study are the formation of teamwork in overcoming the use of narcotics both from all walks of life, especially for public figures (artists) by working together from various parties, both communities, agencies, BNN so that the younger generation of Indonesia is no longer touched by narcotics whose impact is very damaging the nation's young generation, both in socializing, achieving and living a normal life by maintaining akhlaqul karimah/etiquette in social life without narcotics.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan suatu keterampilan seseorang untuk menggunakan potensi dalammengolah dan memahami informasi saat melakukan aktivitas membaca dan menulis.Menurut Toharuddin (2011) literasi adalah keberaksaraan, yaitu kemampuan menulis,membaca, budaya literasi dimaksudkan untuk melakukan kegiatan kebiasaan berfikir yangdiikuti oleh sebuah proses membaca, menulis yang pada akhirnya apa yang dilakukan padaproses kegiatan tersebut akan menciptakan karya, serta mengerti atau memahami huruf danmau belajar di lembaga formal maupun non formal atau dengan kata lain melek huruf.Secara luas literasi juga dapat didefinisikan sebagai seperangkat kemampuan individu dalammembaca, menulis, berhitung, serta memecahkan masalah di dalam kehidupan sehari- hari.Dalam hal literasi, rata- rata masyarakat Indonesia menghabiskan waktu membacasebanyak enam jam/Minggu, di atas rata- rata masyarakat Argentina, Turki, Spanyol,Kanada, Jerman, Amerika Serikat, Italia, Mexico, Inggris, Brazil, Taiwan, dan Jepangdengan rata- rata tiga jam/ Minggu. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil survey World CultureIndex Score 2018 bahwa orang Indonesia memiliki peringkat kegemaran membaca di urutan17 dari 30 negara. Oleh karena itu, kegemaran membaca masyarakat indonesia perluditingkatkan lagi. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan budayaliterasi di Indonesia yaitu dengan Perpustakaan Desa (PERPUSDES).PERPUSDES merupakan perpustakaan masyarakat sebagai salah satu sarana ataumedia dalam meningkatkan dan mendukung kegiatan pendidikan masyarakat pedesaan.Desa Kedung Rejoso Kecamatan Paiton memiliki PERPUSDES yang dinamakan PerpustakaanDesa Sang Juara. PERPUSDES ini terlaksana karena adanya program desa berdaya dengantujuan untuk membantu masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan. Berbagai kegiatandilaksanakan di PERPUSDES Sang Juara, diantaranya Gerobak Sang Juara, BimbinganBelajar, serta Pelatihan Kerajinan Masyarakat.Sejalan dengan hal di atas, kami menawarkan kerjasama dalam meningkatkan budayaliterasi untuk masyarakat di Desa Kedung Rejoso Kecamatan Paiton melalui PERPUSDES.Tiga fokus program kegiatan ini adalah memanfaatkan PERPUSDES sebagai sentrainformasi, Sentra edukasi, dan sentra pemberdayaan masyarakat.Program tersebut dijalankan melalui beberapa langkah penting, seperti penyediaaninformasi berbasis komputer, pelatihan keterampilan pemuda desa, peningkatanketerampilan ibu PKK, pelaksanaan belajar di PERPUSDES, dan pelatihan kesenian. Masingmasing langkah memiliki program jangka pendek, jangka menengah, dan jangka panjangyang diharapkan bisa diselesaikan dalam durasi (kurang lebih) 4 bulan (Agustus – Desember2019). Kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak seperti pemuda karang taruna, ibu- ibu PKK,Lembaga Sekolah, dan PemKab dapat menentukan kesuksesan program ini.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Program pendampingan ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pemahaman kewirausahaan digital di kalangan SMK di Kabupaten Probolinggo. Tujuan: Kegiatan ini bertujuan membangun ekosistem kewirausahaan melalui pengembangan keterampilan manajerial dan teknis kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa SMK. Metode: Dalam kolaborasi dengan MKKS SMK Kabupaten Probolinggo, metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan kewirausahaan, penerapan teknologi melalui aplikasi SPW berbasis web, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil: Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan manajerial dan teknis di 47 sekolah mitra, yang kini lebih siap membimbing siswa dalam mengembangkan bisnis. Kesimpulan: Aplikasi SPW juga terbukti memudahkan sekolah dalam pemantauan dan evaluasi kewirausahaan, meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen bisnis di tingkat sekolah.

Abstract

UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, as evidenced during the economic crisis of 1997/1998, when many large companies failed while UMKM remained resilient. The success of UMKM in facing this crisis demonstrates their better adaptability, supported by flexible organizational structures and workforce. Probolinggo Regency, known for its rich natural and cultural potential, hosts many UMKM that have developed in both quality and quantity. Entrepreneurs in this region utilize local resources to offer quality products through street vendors, cafes, and restaurants. This study aims to explore the significance of UMKM in a region, identify the factors that hinder and promote UMKM growth, and analyze the development of the UMKM sector in Probolinggo. The analysis indicates that UMKM not only create jobs and improve the living standards of the community but also serve as custodians of local culture. Despite facing various challenges, such as limited capital, managerial skills, and location constraints, support from the government and financial institutions can strengthen UMKM growth. Data shows that after a significant decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UMKM in Probolinggo began to show signs of recovery in 2022, with an increase in the number of enterprises. This reflects a positive dynamic in the local economic recovery.

Abstract

Digital transformation in MSMEs refers to the use of information and communication technology to increase efficiency, productivity and business competitiveness. Pancor Mas Written Batik from Bucor Kulon Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency is one of Indonesian cultural products that has great potential to be developed. Digital business transformation is an important strategy in increasing the competitiveness of the MSME market. By adopting digital technology, it is hoped that Written Batik MSMEs can expand their market reach, increase operational efficiency, and provide added value to their products. The aim of this research is to identify challenges in the adoption of digital technology by the Batik Tulis Pancor Emas MSMEs in Bucor Kulon Village. This research uses a qualitative approach by taking primary data sources in the form of interviews, secondary data in the form of literature studies. The qualitative research paradigm is research that places humans as research subjects. The findings in this research show that the majority of Pancor Emas Batik Tulis MSME owners show a good understanding of the importance of digitalization, they realize that digital technology helps in marketing, inventory management, and communication with customers. The business has been running for more than 10 years, the number of employees is 7 people, the business owner's latest education is high school. From the level of adoption of digital technology, Batik Tulis Pancor Emas MSMEs still do not use e-commerce but use conventional marketing using outlets or kiosks spread across several places. MSMEs do not use E-Commerce in their sales so they do not experience significant sales, while MSMEs that have used E-Commerce have experienced an increase in sales.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of corporate governance, financial transparency, risk management, and corporate reputation on Gen Z investor confidence. Using a sample of 300 Gen Z investors, the research employs multiple regression analysis to assess the relationships between these variables. The findings reveal that all four factors significantly and positively impact investor confidence, with corporate reputation and financial transparency having the strongest influence. The results highlight that Gen Z investors value companies that demonstrate ethical governance, transparent financial practices, strong risk management, and positive reputations. The study offers valuable insights for organizations aiming to attract and retain Gen Z investors, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in governance, transparency, risk management, and corporate image.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that determine the success of cooperatives in the trade and industrial sectors in Probolinggo Regency. Cooperatives have an important role in the local economy, especially in supporting trade and small industrial activities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving cooperative entrepreneurs in the region. The variables tested include management, capital, human resource capacity, access to markets, and government policy support. The research results show that good managerial factors, ability to adapt to the market, and government policy support significantly influence the success of cooperatives in this sector. On the other hand, limited capital and the low quality of human resources are the main obstacles in developing cooperatives. It is hoped that this research will provide insight for cooperative managers, policy makers and related parties in developing more efficient and sustainable cooperatives in Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

Instilling an entrepreneurial spirit in students is not an easy thing, as an active student you must be able to divide your time, so that the student's responsibilities can be completed perfectly, starting a business for students who have a creative and innovative spirit within themselves by channeling it through a business that can produce, so that students can have income to meet their needs. Being an independent student who owns a business can make a person more responsible, strategic, innovative and productive. Where students will become familiar with the responsibilities that must be carried out in order to become an experience that can motivate the future. As students living in an era of disruption, you should understand better what an entrepreneur is, where within this scope there is active interaction between producers and consumers. Being an independent student can of course influence many things in life, if students have the courage to start opening an online or offline business, then besides cultivating and having an entrepreneurial spirit, students can also have income that can be used for semester payments and daily needs, so that students can lighten the responsibilities of both parents towards him. Any business that students start requires a process for its achievement. With several references and the best strategies used, this can facilitate the achievement of the student's efforts. Because what students need in a business is not only enthusiasm but also a perfect marketing strategy, aimed at development so that it can be known to many people. Becoming an independent student is not only for experience and income, but can also make you a smart student, a student who can motivate others and the younger generation, where independent students can be used as a reference for those who want to start a business.
