Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah pengaruh pendidikan faktor manusia terhadap efisiensi operasional di Bandara Sentani Jayapura, dengan fokus pada dimensi kualifikasi kru, pengalaman kerja, dan pelatihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe eksplanatori yang melibatkan 35 staf Bandara Sentani yang didapat dengan purposive sampling, dengan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang valid dan reliabel. “Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda.” Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga hipotesis diterima, dengan nilai t hitung pada Kualifikasi Awak Pesawat sebesar 3,670, Pengalaman Kerja 4,308, dan Pelatihan Kerja 18,926, yang kesemuanya memiliki tingkat signifikansi 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Peningkatan kualifikasi, pengalaman, dan pelatihan terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Disarankan agar manajemen Bandara Sentani fokus pada peningkatan Pendidikan yang terstruktur, sertifikasi, serta pengembangan pengalaman kerja untuk mencapai efisiensi operasional yang optimal.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi “Virtual” sebagai media pembelajaran alat bantu pendaratan visual berbasis virtual reality. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, kuesioner, dan instrumen yang melibatkan beberapa reviewer, yaitu: tiga orang ahli media, tiga orang ahli materi, dan 24 orang mahasiswa angkatan ke-4 program studi Teknik Listrik Bandara Politeknik Penerbangan Jayapura. Menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif sesuai dengan standar ISO 25010. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aspek media sebesar 4,29 (Sangat Layak), aspek materi sebesar 100% (valid), aspek functional suitability sebesar 100% (sangat layak), aspek compatibility sebesar 100% (sangat layak), dan aspek usability sebesar 82,72% (sangat layak).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenjang pendidikan dosen, keterampilan dosen, kualitas materi, kualitas media, dan metode pembelajaran terhadap capaian akademik mahasiswa perguruan tinggi kedinasan dengan studi kasus di Politeknik Penerbangan Jayapura agar dapat dijadikan bahan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini, capaian akademik dapat dinilai melalui Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK). Keseluruhan data yang diperlukan tersebut merupakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan responden yaitu mahasiswa Politeknik Penerbangan Jayapura. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis Regresi Dummy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa secara simultan, jenjang pendidikan dosen, keterampilan dosen, kualitas materi, kualitas media, dan metode pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian akademik atau IPK sebesar 80,5%, sedangkan 19,5% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Sementara itu, hasil uji individua tau parsial menyatakan bahwa jenjang pendidikan dosen, kualitas materi, kualitas media berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap capaian akademik. Variabel keterampilan dosen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap capaian akademik. Sementara itu, metode pembelajaran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian akademik mahasiswa Politeknik Penerbangan Jayapura.

Abstract

Aviation safety management becomes more important to be considered because flight accidents can give a broader impact. Not only endangering its crews and passengers, but flight accidents also threaten people’s lives on the ground. This article then aims to explain the factors that influence aviation safety management. In the process, the authors use the qualitative research method by focusing on the literature review or studying the previous research. The result of this article shows that there are three factors that have an influence to aviation safety management. First, the human factor includes pilots, aviation operators, and other aviation staff. Second, operating space which includes weather conditions and the airport. Third, aircraft and its technologies which can be seen through good aircraft design and construction, as well as the technology that has a crucial role in aircraft operation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the importance of digital-based information services for aviation service users at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, collecting data through observations and interviews with passengers and airport staff. The results of the study indicate that passengers face difficulties in accessing information and there is a lack of personnel in the Customer Service department to serve passengers, thus requiring innovation in the form of a Virtual Customer Assistant (VICA) to facilitate passengers in obtaining desired information, as well as the addition of Customer Service personnel. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that digital-based information services are crucial in enhancing the aviation service user experience at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an economic comparison analysis between the use of solar cell street lighting and conventional street lighting at Djalaluddin Airport in Gorontalo. The research method employed is quantitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the utilization of solar cell street lighting at UPBU Djalaluddin Airport is relatively ineffective from an economic standpoint. The operational costs for battery replacement in solar cell street lighting are comparatively higher than using PLN electricity in conventional street lighting. Furthermore, the initial investment cost for solar cell street lighting is significantly more expensive than conventional street lighting. The total costs of solar cell street lighting over a 10-year period are also higher compared to conventional street lighting. However, the operational costs for solar cell street lighting are simpler, limited to the expenses for cleaning the solar panels, while the operational costs for conventional street lighting depend on the government-regulated Basic Electricity Tariff (TDL).

Abstract

Safety and comfort for aircraft passengers when the aircraft is going to the runway (runway) for take off (take off) or leaving the runway (runway) when finished landing (landing) must pass through a termite road (taxiway), In case In order for aircraft traffic to run smoothly, the structure and geometry of the taxiway plays an important function in the process of moving aircraft from the airport building to the runway or from the runway to the airport building in a short time. The Airfield Lighting System control system or what is usually called a landing visual aid uses a Control Desk which is operated by an Air Traffic Controller (ATC). As technology develops, the use of digital applications is very useful for an Air Traffic Controller. This research uses a qualitative type of research so that the results obtained are that there are fundamental differences in airfield lighting operational activities between the manual recording process and the digital recording process, with manual recording being done one by one, however, if it is done digitally it does not require a lot of human resources (HR), the data obtained is accurate, the risk of data loss is quite small. And the risk of calculation errors is small. Using the My Inspection Officer application within PT. Angkasa Pura 1 (Persero) makes it easier for technicians to record inspections or check the readiness of Ahmad Yani International Airport-Semarang.

Abstract

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has 8 ADP and 52 apron flood light poles equipped with LED lights. The travel distance from the Main Power House (MPH) to the flood light apron is ± 1,900 meter. Currently, flood lights operate automatically via a timer. All flood lights in the apron area will turn on at 18.00 WITA, then turn off at 06.00 WITA. Thus, the flood lights in the apron area or in the parking lot will remain on from 18.00 WITA to 06.00 WITA, even if there are no planes parked. The apron flood light at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport only uses a timer to control it and turn it off. The disadvantage of using a timer is that if the sun sets or rises earlier than the specified time, the apron flood light will not be able to turn on at that time. This research uses qualitative methods to obtain results. With this control and monitoring system, electricians and AMC can monitor lights via computer remotely without having to go to the field. 2. The existence of this control and supervision system can speed up the process of repairing and analyzing disturbances that occur as well as increasing the comfort of airport services for lighting aircraft when they are in Remain Over Night (RON) conditions at the parking stand.

Abstract

The Movement Area Guidance Sign (MAGS) is a sign to provide information to the pilot in directing the movement of the aircraft during take-off, landing and taxiing (the road to the apron) efficiently and safely whose electrical power is supplied by a Constant Current Regulator (CCR). where the supply has a constant current and the network system is installed in series so that each lamp has the same brightness intensity. Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is equipped with an Airfield Lightning System facility, a visual landing aid, one of which is the Movement Area Guidance Sign (MAGS) or better known as the Taxiway Guidance Sign. The MAGS lights at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali have 2 types of lights used, namely, 33 fluorescent type lights and 6 LED type boxes so that the total number of MAGS lights at the airport is 39 MAGS boxes. This research uses this type of research. qualitatively so that the analysis and calculation results show that LED lights are 57.94% more efficient than fluorescent TL lights at MAGS International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai. This is caused by the amount of power used by the lamp. In terms of quality, you may get more bang for your buck than your initial investment in MAGS LED lights. This is because LED lamps have a lifespan 3 times longer than fluorescent lamps and are brighter.

Abstract

At every airport there is always something called a taxiway, the Runway Connecting Facility (taxiway) is a certain path within the airport location that connects the runway (runway) with the parking runway (apron) in the terminal building area and vice versa, consisting of an exit taxiway , parallel taxiway and high speed taxiway. Taxiway Functions as a connecting facility, so the taxiway in its planning must meet provisions such as the distance between the center line of the taxiway and the center line of the runway, width of the taxiway, wheel clearance, slope and visibility and finally the taxiway strip. In this research, qualitative methods were used to obtain results. By implementing additional circuits on the taxiway, it lightens the load on the CCR on circuit C and the cable route from the CCR on the south side is more efficient and easier to handle troubleshooting on the cable route. In the process of adding circuits to taxiway lights that need to be paid attention to is the preparation work for the application for making airport passes, the worker implementer makes a Method of Working Plan (MOWP) for detailed work and work methods, submits materials for approval. Work implementation must comply with regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
