Abstract

Cultural differences can cause culture shock to those involved in intercultural communication interactions. Students from Malaysia are one example of students who have experienced culture shock since they decided to study in Madura. This study aims to determine the forms of culture shock experienced and efforts to interact intercultural communication in the adaptation process carried out by students from Malaysia in overcoming culture shock when studying S-1 at IDIA Prenduan. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case research research, the data sources used are primary and secondary data sources with the number of informants as many as 5 people. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The validity of the data used is a triangulation technique. The results of this study show that differences in socio-cultural conditions and natural weather resulted in these Malaysian students experiencing diverse forms of culture shock and almost have similarities with each other. The adaptation efforts made are not much different from each other. In all forms of culture shock they experience, they choose to survive and face all existing conditions. Overall, students from Malaysia are able to adapt in a new cultural environment.

Abstract

Dakwah has another meaning namely, religious broadcasting, calls to embrace, study and practice religious teachings. While the meaning of preaching is to invite or call for learning and practicing religious teachings. The main purpose of da'wah is to make people always follow His way so that happiness in this world and in the hereafter is blessed by Allah SWT. The da'wah values that we want to examine are from previous Islamic figures, one of whom is Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih in a book by DR. Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi is known for his preaching methods which are synonymous with war, but if studied more deeply Al-Fatih also carried out various kinds of humanist preaching methods, full of wisdom (al-hikmah) which proved to be efficient in his time. In this study using the approach of Content Analysis, namely research that is in-depth discussion of the contents of a written or printed information in the mass media. This type of research is using qualitative research, namely to describe various situations in the form of phenomena, conditions, and situations that exist in the community which are the object of research. The data source here uses primary data obtained directly from the original source and secondary data obtained indirectly through intermediary media. The data collection technique used by the author in this study is the documentation technique. The data analysis used is Content Analysis, namely by analyzing a document in the form of written works, books, films, pictures, biographies, letters, newspapers, magazines, bulletins and others. From the results of this study, it is known that Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih carried out da'wah activities namely, with worship activities towards schools and institutes, worship activities towards translation activities, worship activities towards government management and worship activities towards the army and navy. Then from the da'wah of social behavior, namely, social behavior towards scholars, social behavior towards poets and writers, social behavior towards prosperity, development and hospitals, social behavior towards trade and industry and social behavior towards justice.

Abstract

Teacher communication patterns play an important role in triggering students' reading motivation. By creating certain communication patterns, it is easy for students to master the learning being taught. Therefore, this study focuses its study on how teacher communication patterns through the one week one book program in increasing student reading motivation by taking the case of class X MA An-Najah I. This research approach uses field research (Field reseach) with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were taken from 9 informants to check the validity of the data through the use of source trianggulation. The results of this study show that there is a one-way communication pattern applied at the An-Najah I Karduluk MA institution in explaining subjects and a two-way communication pattern in providing question and answer opportunities to students. There is also a pattern of multidirectional communication in giving group assignments to these students. So it can be concluded that the pattern of communication that occurs between teachers and students at the MA An-Najah I institution has an impact on 1) a good understanding for students of the explanation given, 2) providing positive feedback that makes it easier to measure the level of student understanding and 3) fostering interest and motivation in active learning from the students' own interpesronal.

Abstract

The communication pattern of muhafidz assistance with students runs effectively and has different strategies in efforts to habituate student discipline. Where in the students they will interact with the Qur'an, where the communication pattern of a muhafidz will be used as a view and this will have an effect, this is where the role of muhafidz in carrying out the discipline of students in memorizing the Qur'an at Ma'had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Al-Amien. The purpose of this study is to find out what communication patterns are used by muhafidz in carrying out the discipline of memorizing the Qur'an at Ma'had Tahfidh, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of memorization methods in carrying out the discipline of memorizing the Qur'an at Ma'had Tahfidh. The method in this study uses qualitative descriptive case studies. Research results: the pattern used is the Dzatiya Da'wah Wheel Pattern and the Circle Communication Pattern / Da'wah Halaqah. The supporting factor is the existence of indicators that can determine whether or not the students' targets are achieved. The inhibiting factor is sleepiness and sleep when implementing halaqoh tasmi'

Abstract

Media sosial Tiktok akhir-akhir ini menjadi tren bagi kalangan anak muda. Lambat laun pengguna Tiktok bukan hanya menonton video yang disediakan alih-alih ikut serta dalam membuat video mereka sendiri untuk mengisi kejenuhan yang melanda. Sehingga video yang terdapat pada Tiktok akhirnya bervariasi. Mulai yang berjenis komedi sampai yang berjenis edukasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya dan seberapa besar Pengaruh aplikasi Tiktok terhadap kualitas karakter Siswa SMPN 1 Pragaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket kepada 28 responden dengan teknik random sampling, yaitu teknik yang mengambil semua individu yang ada dalam populasi, sehingga semua dianggap sama atau diberi kesempatan yang sama untuk dipilih menjadi anggota sampel dalam penelitian. Analisis data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistika karena data yang akan dianalisa berwujud angka-angka atau bersifat kuantitatif, metode statistika merupakan suatu prosedur dalam pengumpulan, penyajian, analisis serta penarikan kesimpulan dari data. Metode tersebut terbagi mejadi dua kelompok yaitu statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial. Hasil penelitian menerima semua hipotesis, aplikasi pengaruh media sosial Tiktok terhadap peningkatan kualitas karakter siswa SMPN 1 Pragaan sangat berpengaruh positif. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dan di tentukan atau dipengaruhi oleh media sosial Tiktok sebesar 41, 4% sedangkan sisanya ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui teknologi dalam pendidikan: dampaknya terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan emosional siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka. Jenis penelitian studi pustaka digunakan untuk menggali pemahaman yang mendalam tentang suatu topik atau fenomena dengan menganalisis literatur dan sumber-sumber yang relevan yang dimana dalam penelitian ini berkaitan teknologi dalam pendidikan: dampaknya terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan emosional siswa. Adapun data, diperoleh melalui kajian dan analisis terhadap berbagai referensi seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan dokumen-dokumen lainnya yang berkaitan dengan topik yang diteliti dan kemudian peneliti menarik benang merah dan menyimpulkan dari hasil temuan dan kajian penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi pendidikan memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan emosional siswa. Penggunaan teknologi dapat merangsang perkembangan keterampilan kognitif, memperluas wawasan, meningkatkan motivasi, dan membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional. Namun, perlu diingat bahwa penggunaan teknologi harus seimbang, tidak menggantikan interaksi manusia yang berarti, dan dikelola dengan bijaksana. Melalui kolaborasi antara pendidik, orang tua, dan siswa, teknologi pendidikan dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran dan perkembangan siswa.

Abstract

Nowadays, character education in schools has received special attention by the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture Research Technology. The character of the education promoted by the government is integrated with formal education from the elementary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools levels, the presence of character education is expected to have a positive impact on the development of students in schools. According to Ryan & Bohlin (1999) character is a pattern of individual behavior, if the individual has good character, he has an understanding of goodness, likes goodness and does good. This research was conducted at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Al Uswah Pamekasan with a sample of 42 parents, the method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method using percentages. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the parents perception of the character building development of students was 90%. It is concluded that the parents perception is tremendous on the character building development of the Al Uswah Pamekasan Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) students. From these results, it is concluded that the character of Al Uswah Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) students has independence, has good behavior towards teachers and peers, maintains cleanliness and speaks politely.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keberagaman budaya yang kaya, termasuk perbedaan bahasa. adat istiadat, dan nilai-nilai sosial. Suku Jawa dan suku Madura, meskipun sama-sama beragama Islam, memiliki karakter budaya yang berbeda, yang berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahpahaman dalam komunikasi. Namun, di lingkungan pesantren seperti TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan, santriwati dari kedua suku ini mampu hidup berdampingan dengan harmonis. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memahami bagaimana komunikasi antar budaya dapat berperan dalam memperkuat Ukhuwah Islamiyah di lingkungan pesantren. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pola komunikasi yang digunakan oleh santriwati dari suku Jawa dan suku Madura dalam membangun interaksi sosial yang harmonis. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat komunikasi antar budaya di TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi Informan penelitian terdiri dari santriwati kelas V dan VI yang berasal dari kedua suku. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai komunikasi antar budaya di pesantren ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antar budaya di TMI Al-Amien Prenduan berjalan secara efektif melalui interaksi intensif utama dalam memperkuat Ukhuwah Islamiyah di antara santri dari latar belakang budaya yang berbeda. Kesimpulannya, komunikasi antar budaya yang baik dapat menciptakan harmoni dan mempererat persaudaraan dalam lingkungan pesantren. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam mengelola keberagaman budaya, sehingga Ukhuwah Islamiyah dapat terus terjaga dan berkembang di tengah perbedaan.

Abstract

Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi, S.Hum., M.Pd. seorang public figure yang sudah tidak asing lagi di telinga kita, seorang muslimah yang mulai dikenal saat beliau sukses membintangi sebuah film yang berjudul:” Ketika Cinta Bertasbih. Keunikan gaya dakwah Oki Setiana Dewi, ketika beliau berceramah, beliau selalu menceritakan kisah-kisah Nabi terlebih dahulu baru kemudian menyimpulkan, keunggulan beliau juga seorang penghafal Al-Qur’an tidak hanya itu beliau juga seorang wanita yang berpendidikan tinggi. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi dakwah Oki Setiana Dewi dalam membangun dakwahnya di youtube dan apa yang menarik dari gaya dakwah yang disampaikan oleh Oki Setiana Dewi di youtube. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi dakwah Oki Setiana Dewi dalam membangun dakwahnya di youtube dan untuk mengetahui apa yang menarik dari gaya dakwah yang disampaikan oleh Oki Setiana Dewi di youtube. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan penelitian, pengelompokan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini berupa observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan metode simak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi dan gaya Dakwah OKI menggunakan gaya bahasa percakapan dan gaya bahasa yang Mulia dan berdaya, menggunakan gaya gerak tubuh dengan postur tegap, penampilan busana muslim dan Syar'i, serta elegan dalam penampilan dan gerakan tangan, senyum dan mata semuanya menggunakan ekspresi wajah, dari mengerutkan kening, alis, wajah marah, sedih, kecewa, senang

Abstract

The development of technology has transformed mass media, particularly online media, which plays a crucial role in various aspects of life, including politics. The 2024 Indonesian election, with issues of alleged fraud and power intervention, reflects a crisis of trust in democratic institutions. This study aims to analyze how online media, specifically JawaPos.com and Kompas.com, frame news coverage related to the lawsuit over the 2024 election results using Robert N. Entman’s framing analysis model. The research employs a qualitative method with a framing analysis approach, identifying four key elements: Define Problems, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgment, and Treatment Recommendation. The findings reveal differences in framing between the two media. JawaPos.com highlights the administrative aspects of the lawsuit and the independence of the Constitutional Court, while Kompas.com focuses more on political dimensions such as power intervention, misuse of social assistance (bansos), and Gibran’s candidacy. In the Define Problems element, JawaPos.com emphasizes structured fraud, whereas Kompas.com underscores social assistance misuse and power intervention.
