Abstract

Online game addiction is a form of addiction caused by internet technology which makes a person very attached to playing online games, from time to time there will be an increase in frequency and duration. Online games are games that are very popular and popular among teenagers, including students. Online games have a bad influence on students if they are played for an excessive amount of time so that addiction to online games causes students to reduce their study time. The aim of this research is to determine the reduction of online game addiction through group counseling services for students. The method in this research uses a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 5 students based on the recommendation of the guidance and counseling teacher using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire to measure students' level of online game addiction. The research results showed that there was a significant reduction after providing treatment through group counseling in the level of online game addiction with a calculated t value of 20,250 which was greater than the t table of 2,131 (20,250>2,131). This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It can be concluded that research shows that the application of group counseling can reduce online game addiction in students

Abstract

This research starts from the phenomenon that can be seen from the implementation shown by students, namely students who are still negligent in preparing for prayer, carrying out congregational prayers. This research aims to find out how high the level of prayer implementation of guidance and counseling students is. The research method that the author carried out was a quantitative method with a descriptive type. The population in this study was 101 students of guidance and counseling at UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi class of 2021. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique uses religious behavior instruments. Based on the results of this research, the author can conclude that the implementation of prayers for guidance and counseling students is as follows: 101 students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah Department of Guidance and Counseling class 2021 class A, B, C as many as 101 students performed prayers quite well, this can be seen from the data collection during research shows that overall student prayer implementation is still in the Medium category, and some are in the High and Very High categories. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the better the student prayer implementation, the higher the student prayer implementation. Likewise, vice versa, the worse the performance of student prayers, the lower the performance of student prayers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of cognitive restructuring techniques on increasing the open mindedness of students of SMPN 3 Mesjid Raya Banda Aceh. An open-mindedness attitude or openness to new ideas and views is very important for the cognitive and social development of students because it can affect their learning process and social interaction. To maintain this attitude, one of the efforts that can be made is with cognitive restructuring techniques, which is an approach that aims to improve students' open-mindedness behavior This research used an experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population amounted to 22 students in grades VII and VIII, are taken by using the total sampling technique. Data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05 after meeting the test prerequisites. The results of the study showed an increase in the average score from pretest (47) to posttest (75), after cognitive reconstruction techniques were carried out, then based on statistical tests also showed a ttable > tcal value (8,090 > 0.602), so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This proves that cognitive restructuring techniques have a positive effect on increasing the open mindedness of SMPN 3 Mesjid Raya Banda Aceh students

Abstract

Cultural diversity in modern society is growing, characterized by increased interaction between individuals and groups with different backgrounds. It can pose a challenge in communicating and developing harmonious relationships. Multicultural counselling offers an approach that can help develop understanding and skills in cross-cultural interaction. This article examines the concept of multicultural counselling and its mechanisms in facilitating the development of intercultural relationships. Through a review of the literature, it was found that multicultural counseling focuses on the recognition and appreciation of cultural differences, as well as developing the cultural competence of counsellors to provide services that are responsive to the needs of clients with diverse backgrounds. It can help clients understand and appreciate differences, enhance empathy, and develop cross-cultural communication skills.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran strategis konselor dalam mewujudkan pendidikan berkualitas sebagai bagian dari pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, khususnya pada Tujuan 4 yang menekankan pendidikan inklusif, merata, dan berkualitas. Konselor berperan penting dalam mendukung perkembangan akademik, emosional, dan sosial peserta didik. Melalui pendekatan holistik, konselor membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan inklusif, memberikan bimbingan akademik, serta mendukung kesehatan mental peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi konselor dalam pendidikan berkualitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor memainkan peran vital dalam pengembangan karakter, pencegahan masalah psikososial, dan kolaborasi dengan stakeholder pendidikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kapasitas konselor dalam mendukung pencapaian SDGs 2030.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran e-counseling dalam mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat dan ketahanan sosial-ekologis di kawasan urban Ramindra Rd., Bang Khen, Bangkok. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-counseling memberikan akses yang lebih luas terhadap layanan psikososial, meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal, serta mendorong kesadaran dan partisipasi lingkungan. Partisipasi warga meningkat terutama di wilayah yang memiliki infrastruktur digital dan dukungan komunitas yang kuat. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, literasi teknologi yang rendah, dan stigma terhadap konseling masih menghambat perluasan layanan ini. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi e-counseling dalam program pembangunan lokal, pelatihan literasi digital, dan penguatan konselor komunitas. Dengan strategi yang tepat, e-counseling dapat menjadi model inovatif dalam memperkuat ketahanan sosial dan ekologis masyarakat perkotaan.

Abstract

Anemia during pregnancy is a common health issue, particularly in developing countries. It can have serious consequences for both the mother and fetus, including risks of premature delivery, low birth weight, and maternal mortality. To identify the risk factors associated with anemia in pregnant women and its impact on pregnancy outcomes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 100 pregnant women was selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test to determine relationships between variables. Significant factors associated with anemia included maternal age (p=0.03), education level (p=0.01), parity (p=0.04), and iron intake (p=0.001). Anemia was also associated with low birth weight incidence (p=0.02). Anemia in pregnancy is influenced by multiple risk factors and significantly affects pregnancy outcomes. Nutritional intervention and education are essential to reduce anemia prevalence.   Abstrak Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi, terutama di negara berkembang. Anemia dapat berdampak serius bagi ibu dan janin, termasuk risiko persalinan prematur, berat badan lahir rendah, hingga kematian ibu. Mengetahui faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil dan dampaknya terhadap kehamilan  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 100 ibu hamil diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel. Faktor yang signifikan berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia meliputi usia ibu (p=0,03), tingkat pendidikan (p=0,01), paritas (p=0,04), dan asupan zat besi (p=0,001). Anemia juga berhubungan dengan kejadian berat bayi lahir rendah (p=0,02). Anemia pada kehamilan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor risiko dan memiliki dampak nyata terhadap hasil kehamilan. Intervensi gizi dan edukasi sangat diperlukan untuk menurunkan angka kejadian anemia.
