Abstract

Sekolah saat ini dipandang sebagai perusahaan penyedia jasa pendidikan. Sebagai perusahaan, masyarakat sudah tidak lagi dipandang sebagai user pendidikan melainkan costumer pendidikan. Akibatnya, muncul persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan untuk mendapatkan costumer (siswa) sebanyak-banyak. Penelitian memiliki misi untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan oleh pondok pesantren Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Pamekasan dalam membangun image branding melalui media sosial di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis deksriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis deksriptif kualitatif. Ada dua data primer yang digunakan, yaitu aktivitas pondok pesantren Darul Ulum Banyuanyar di media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), Youtube, dan Tiktok dan wawancara. Penelitian menunjukkan jika pondok pesantren Darul Ulum Banyuanyar menggunakan media sosial untuk tiga hal, sebagai media dakwah dan edukasi, media komunikasi dan informasi pondok pesantren, dan membangun image branding pondok pesantren di masyarakat. Demi mencapai ketiganya, pondok pesantren membentuk tim media sosial yang terdiri dari konten kreator dan pengawas untuk membangun image branding pondok pesantren.

Abstract

The proliferation of global academic discourse necessitates the effective dissemination of scientific research through reputable international journals. This study investigates an international training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of researchers in Indonesia and Sudan for publishing in high-impact journals. The training program focuses on equipping participants with essential skills in manuscript preparation, understanding international journal standards, and navigating the publication process. Through a case study approach, the research assesses the program’s effectiveness in improving participants' publication outcomes and the implications for their respective academic institutions. The findings reveal that the training significantly enhanced participants' proficiency in crafting high-quality manuscripts, aligning with international journal criteria, and successfully navigating the peer-review process. Participants reported increased confidence and competence in their writing and submission practices, contributing to a higher rate of successful publications in reputable journals. Additionally, the program fostered greater collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers from Indonesia and Sudan, promoting a more integrated global academic community. This study underscores the value of targeted international training programs in bridging gaps in academic publishing practices and strengthening the global presence of researchers from diverse contexts. The implications for policy and practice include the need for continued support and development of such training initiatives to further advance the quality and impact of scientific research on a global scale.

Abstract

So far, Islamic boarding schools have been perceived as marginalized caste educational institutions and are below the level of general education. This is due to the quality of the graduates who are considered by most people will not be able to compete in facing the challenges of the times. Moreover, Islamic boarding schools are only considered capable of producing graduates of prospective ustad or preachers so that it strengthens the community's assumption that pesantren graduates are not competitive in the job market. This assumption cannot be fully justified or blamed due to the fact that Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions are complex phenomena. In Islamic boarding schools, students not only get religious education, but also other sciences as a provision for students to face their life in society. There is an interesting fact, that in some Islamic boarding schools there is a graduate quality development program called the task teacher program to maintain the quality standards of boarding school graduates. The task teacher program is packaged by the pesantren as a forum for community service for students in the third grade of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and the equivalent after carrying out the National Examination (UN) to carry out da'wah missions as well as become ambassadors for the pesantren. The students will then be placed in various regions for one year. In the place of duty, the students are required to implement the knowledge they have gained while at the Islamic boarding school. Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, the major crisis faced by Islamic educational institutions is the exemplary crisis. Exemplary is closely related to leadership which is also one of the important and even crucial factors in an educational institution. Leadership is a source of aspirational power that can trigger the growth of spirit, morality and creativity of every stakeholder involved to work together and collaborate so that the vision, mission and goals of educational institutions can be realized effectively. In the context of Islamic educational institutions, leadership has complex dimensions. Leaders in Islamic education are not only required to have managerial skills but are also required to have the ability to instill Islamic religious values within the organization. Prophetic leadership so far is believed to be the ideal conception of leadership in Islamic educational institutions, apart from being sourced from Islamic religious values, prophetic leadership also has a rule model that can be used as an example as well as a role model so that the conception of prophetic leadership is not a utopian one. It is hoped that through prophetic leadership it can raise the enthusiasm and performance of Islamic educational institutions so that the ideals of Islamic education in this millennial era can be realized.

Abstract

Pemimpin atau kepemimpinan merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dan vital dalam sebuah organisasi, tidak terkecuali di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Banyak sekali penelitian yang dilakukan dan berakhir pada kesimpulan jika kepemimpinan adalah ruh organisasi yang menentukan berhasil tidaknya sebuah organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Filsafat stoikisme adalah aliran filsafat tentang bagaimana cara menghadapi berbagai persoalan dalam kehidupan dan cara bagaimana meraih kebahagiaan dalam hidup melalui pengendalian diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kepustakaan dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini berhasil mendapatkan kesimpulan jika teknik-teknik pengendalian diri dalam filsafat stoikisme selaras dengan teori-teori kepemimpinan khususnya dalam teori kepemimpinan modern. Pemimpin sebagai sosok sentral di lembaga pendidikan Islam harus memiliki ketenangan dan pengendalian diri dalam menghadapi berbgai problematika dalam dunia pedidikan. Terdapat lima teknik pengendalian diri dalam filsafat stoikisme, yaitu nature (hidup selaras dengan alam), dikotomi kendali, premiditatio malorum, amor fati, dan memento mori yang relevan dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Public relations management is one of the many management functions in educational institutions that have vital roles and functions. Experts say that the success of educational institutions depends on the ability of public relations to build approaches and communication with the community. Islamic boarding schools are a traditional Islamic education system, cultural heritage and traditions of the Indonesian people. The establishment of Islamic boarding schools is usually on the basis of kiai initiatives that are welcomed by the community. This study wants to reveal the urgency of public relations management in Islamic boarding schools. This study used qualitative method with descriptive analysis. This study found that there are at least three reasons for the urgency of public relations management in Islamic boarding schools, namely; (1) Islamic boarding schools as social institutions, (2) the unique relationship between kiai-santri, (3) the central role of kiai in society, and (4) the demands of globalization

Abstract

The Compok Literacy Community is a youth-driven platform designed to facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving in educational and social contexts. The core problem addressed in this study is the low reading interest among children and youth, which necessitates innovative and community-based strategies to cultivate a sustainable literacy culture. The aim of this research is to analyze the management strategies employed by the Compok Literacy Community in fostering such a culture. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach within the field research framework. Participants include the community's founders, managers, and volunteers. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis follows the stages of data reduction, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that (1) the development of a literacy culture within the community stems from the founders’ strong commitment to promoting reading interest and establishing a literacy-rich environment; (2) the implementation strategies include initiating the community with close personal networks, recruiting motivated volunteers, assigning tasks based on individual potentials, and designing continuous, literacy-based programs; and (3) these strategies significantly impact not only the volunteers but also the surrounding community and local schools. This research contributes to the field of educational management by providing a practical model of grassroots literacy promotion through effective community-based management strategies. The findings demonstrate that strategic and inclusive management can lead to a sustainable culture of literacy and empower young people to become active agents of educational change.
