Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan mind mapping dapat membuat pembelajaran matematika lebih bermakna dan memudahkan dalam pemahaman materi. Hasil analisis kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi di SMA Islam Almaarif Singosari, kelas XI IPS 2 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa belum menggunakan mind mapping dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan mind mapping pada siswa, sehingga dapat mendukung siswa dalam belajar matematika secara efektif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu (1) tahap persiapan, yakni orientasi pada siswa dengan menjelaskan materi matriks, (2) tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan, yakni pengenalan kepada siswa tentang mind mapping yang diikuti dengan praktik pembuatan mind mapping pada materi matriks, (3) tahap evaluasi, yaitu penilaian terhadap hasil mind mapping. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini didapatkan bahwa 80% siswa kelas XI IPS 2 di SMA Islam Almaarif Singosari dapat membuat mind mapping yang dapat mempermudah dalam memahami keterkaitan antar konsep pada materi matriks yang meliputi pengertian matriks, jenis dan sifat matriks, operasi matriks, determinan matriks dan transpose matriks.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat antara lain: (1) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan personalia di lingkungan YTP NU Lekok dalam pemanfaatan GeoGebra pada pembelajaran matematika; (2) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru matematika di lingkungan YTP NU Lekok. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan berupa kegiatan ceramah, pendampingan, dan penugasan. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 21 orang yang meliputi perwakilan guru matematika, waka kurikulum dan guru TIK di lingkungan YTP NU Lekok, serta tiga orang pengurus Yayasan. Kegiatan inti dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 15 November 2022. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dapat diketahui bahwa: (1) berdasarkan data angket diperoleh seluruh peserta menyatakan kesesuaian kegiatan dengan tujuan kegiatan, yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi GeoGebra pada pembelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang, (2) seluruh peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan dengan aktif mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dengan aktif dan tingkat kehadiran 100%, (3) Seluruh peserta mampu menyelesaikan penugasan dengan baik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video interaktif berbasis whiteboard animation guna meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa pada materi statistika kelas VII SMP, serta menilai kualitas pengembangan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE, yang mencakup langkah-langkah Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 DAU. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mencakup uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan responden (guru dan siswa). Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah produk berupa, media pembelajaran berbasis video whiteboard animation menggunakan aplikasi Benime dengan hasil penelitian kualitas instrument oleh ahli media mendapatkan persentase 83,3% dengan kategori valid, kualitas didaktik dan kontruksi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan 77,8% dengan kategori valid, dan ahli praktisi (guru) mendapatkan persentase sebesar 80,5% dengan kategori valid, serta diperoleh persentase sebesar 90,5% peserta didik memberikan penilaian baik terhadap media pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran whiteboard animation.   ABSTRACT This research is a development study aimed at developing an interactive video learning media based on whiteboard animation to enhance students' interest in learning mathematics on statistics for 7th-grade students at SMP. The study also assesses the quality of the developed learning media. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes the steps of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 DAU. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included feasibility tests by material experts, media experts, and respondents (teachers and students). The result of this research is a product in the form of whiteboard animation-based video learning media using the Benime application. The media expert's evaluation resulted in a validity score of 83.3% (valid category), the material expert's evaluation on didactic and construction quality resulted in a validity score of 77.8% (valid category), and the practitioner (teacher) evaluation resulted in a validity score of 80.5% (valid category). Additionally, 90.5% of students gave positive feedback on the whiteboard animation-based video learning media.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media interaktif POLBIN berbasis Canva untuk siswa SMP, khususnya dalam pembelajaran pola bilangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Penelitian dilakukan di MTs Manbaul Ulum Gresik dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII dan sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, serta validasi ahli. Media divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, yang memberikan skor 93%, dikategorikan sangat layak. Pada tahap implementasi, media diuji coba kepada siswa kelas VIII, yang memberikan skor 89%, juga dinilai sangat layak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengolah hasil validasi dan respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media POLBIN berhasil meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pola bilangan. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah implementasi untuk merevisi media jika diperlukan. Peneliti menyarankan pengembangan lebih lanjut agar media ini mencakup mata pelajaran lain dan dapat diakses melalui berbagai perangkat untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih luas.   ABSTRACT This research aims to develop interactive POLBIN media based on Canva for junior high school students, specifically in learning number patterns. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at MTs Manbaul Ulum Gresik with a population of 8th-grade students, and the sample was selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews with students and teachers, and expert validation. POLBIN media was validated by material experts and media experts, who gave it a score of 93% and categorized it as highly feasible. During the implementation stage, this media was tested on 8th-grade students, who scored 89% and were rated as highly possible. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis to process the validation results and student responses. The results showed that the POLBIN media increased students' interest and understanding of number pattern material. The evaluation was conducted after implementation to revise the media if necessary. The researchers suggest further development to expand the media to cover other subjects and make it accessible through various devices to support a broader learning process.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low quality of mathematics learning for students with special needs caused by the need for teaching materials tailored to their needs and the limitations of teachers in using inclusive learning strategies. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a community service initiative designed to improve mathematics learning for students with special needs in SLB. This study used a developmental research method with a pretest-posttest design on one group of research subjects, involving teachers and students with special needs as test subjects. The program involved 20 students and 4 teachers. The results show the initiative's effectiveness in improving math education for special needs students. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while the instruments used included observation guidelines, interview sheets, and questionnaires for teachers and students. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and paired t-tests to measure changes in teachers' understanding and skills and improvements in students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study concludes that inclusive education interventions based on special learning aids effectively overcome learning barriers for students with special needs. The implication of this study is the need for further development in teacher training and the provision of specialized teaching materials to support inclusive education in all schools.

Abstract

Numeracy is the ability to understand and use numbers and mathematical concepts in everyday life. Santri in An Nahdhoh may have problems with their numeracy skills due to various factors, including limited access to quality educational resources, traditional teaching methods that may not effectively foster understanding of mathematics, potential curriculum priorities that prioritize religious education over mathematics, language barriers, and a lack of tailored support for individual skills gaps. Students' willingness to learn numeracy skills can also be influenced by socio-economic limitations and cultural attitudes in the Santri community. Therefore, this service research aims to provide comprehensive guidance, especially to An-Nahdhah, which in the end can improve numeracy results among students. This initiative involves the participation of 25 students. This research is quantitative in nature with data analysis techniques using the t-test. Community service is important and relevant in several ways, including increasing numeracy literacy, application of religion, daily living skills, developing analytical skills, preparation for further education, increasing competitiveness, and introducing technology. This community service includes the following stages: preparation, assessment, implementation and evaluation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of mid-semester exam questions in the form of descriptive questions, focusing on the aspects of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminating power. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach, with documentation techniques for odd semester mid-term exam questions and student answer sheets. Data analysis was carried out using Anates software version 4. The results showed that two of the four questions had very significant validity and reliability with a coefficient of 0.65, which is included in the high category. In terms of level of difficulty, one question was classified as easy (74%), two questions were moderate (53–54%), and one question was very difficult (14%). The discriminating power showed that one question was categorized as sufficient and three questions were categorized as good to very good. These findings indicate that most of the questions analyzed have a quality that is suitable for use in learning evaluation. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of item analysis as a step to improve the quality of assessment in higher education, especially in designing questions that are valid, reliable, and able to measure student learning achievement fairly. In addition, this study can be used as a reference in training in preparing evaluation instruments based on empirical data for lecturers and educators.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang sangat penting untuk menunjang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Berbagai cara dan upaya dilakukan guru untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Hasil belajar matematika merupakan salah satu indikator yang menentukan kualitas pendidikan matematika. Kebiasaan peserta didik dalam berpikir (Habits of Mind) merupakan kumpulan kecerdasan yang terdiri dari kecerdasan sikap, kecerdasan keterampilan, kecerdasan pengetahuan yang diterapkan dalam menyelesaikan sebuah permasalahan. Kepercayaan diri merupakan keyakinan seseorang terhadap dirinya dan kemampuannya untuk sukses. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang sesuai dengan tujuan peneliti yaitu Ex post facto. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara habits of mind deng hasil belajar, kepercayaan diri dengan hasil belajar dan hubungan signifikan antara habits of mind dan kepercayaan diri dengan hasil belajar.
