Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia continues to evolve as a vital sector in the economy, yet faces complex challenges in optimizing operational efficiency at tourist destinations. This research explores the application of autonomous systems and swarm robotics technology as an innovative solution to enhance operational efficiency. Autonomous systems, leveraging artificial intelligence and automation, collaborate with the adaptive principles of swarm robotics to create dynamic solutions for managing long queues, security, and mobility in tourist destinations. Through case studies and testing technology implementation at specific destinations, this research reveals the positive contributions of these systems to visitor experiences and operational efficiency. The implications of these findings extend to Indonesia's broader tourism sector, offering potential improvements in competitiveness and sustainability. The research details the potential development of swarm robotics technology in the future and highlights aspects that warrant further investigation. Thus, the approach of autonomous systems and swarm robotics becomes a practical solution and a strategic foundation for redefining tourism operations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Border regions are currently entering a new paradigm of regional development. As a region that emerged as a result of globalization and policy decentralization, there has been a shift in the security paradigm towards prosperity. Characteristics that are different from other regions (immobility of production factors, transaction costs and delays, different economic systems, institutional issues, zoning and the role of the informal sector) encourage the economic function of the region on the internal and external side. The economic perspective in border areas tends to improve along with this paradigm change. Facing the challenges of economic development involves identifying the main problems that affect economic growth and progress, as well as formulating appropriate strategies and policies to overcome these problems. This involves cooperation between government, the private sector, civil society, and international institutions to achieve sustainable economic development. The economic development strategy for border areas is related to efforts to stimulate economic growth. This strategy supports existing policies and includes planning strategies in the medium and long term. These strategies include: encouraging conducive and operational regulations in the field of economic development in border areas, compiling a road map for effective and operational spatial planning, improvising infrastructure development that is responsive to needs (hard & soft infrastructure), increasing the role of leading sectors and encouraging sectors others in growth, increasing attention to the sustainability of development and development of Human Resources, facilitating internal and external trade.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has great potential to increase understanding and application of religious values that are in line with local wisdom. However, existing learning modules often do not integrate these two aspects explicitly, resulting in a gap between theory and practice. This research aims to develop a PAI learning module based on local wisdom and assess its effectiveness in increasing student understanding and engagement. This research uses literature research methods, by collecting and analyzing sources relevant to the development of PAI modules and local wisdom. The research results show that learning that integrates PAI with local wisdom not only enriches students' religious knowledge but also increases their understanding of the application of these values in their social and cultural context. The module developed successfully integrates examples of local wisdom that are relevant to PAI subject matter. Initial assessments show positive responses from students as well as increased interest and participation in the learning process.

Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the sources of regional foreign exchange that is enough to increase the region's original income, the RI-PNG border area in Jayapura City has many tourism locations, but tourism development is not a serious concern for the tourism office and the management of tourist attractions. Tourism development is still minimal and has not been integrated with local wisdom that can improve the community's economy. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of tourism through the integration of local wisdom with a communication approach in improving the community's economy, analyzing the process of integrating local wisdom in tourism development through local wisdom products. This research method uses a qualitative approach with Miles and Huberman model data analysis techniques, namely data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing/verifying. The results of this study show that (1) communication of local wisdom development has not been done well in tourism development, especially participatory communication in increasing the empowerment of local communities through local wisdom products. (2) The use of communication media to encourage the progress of tourism has not been maximally carried out in promoting local wisdom resources.
