Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out Cultural civilisation and scientific and technological progress are things that cannot be denied. The Indonesian nation certainly wants the advancement of development in all fields. But there are things that should not be forgotten that education as a place, place and school becomes an institution where fostering harmony between the development of science and technology with cultural, social, religious and other civilisations. One of them is the subject of Pancasila and civic education as a subject that is the main in the formation of skills, good moral, ethical, behavioural, and social skills. This research was conducted at MTS Sirajul Falah, Parung, Bogor Regency, West Java, with this research expected to build students' social skills. Civics subjects have a major role in shaping social skills for students. Social skills as skills, attitudes/behaviours of a person in communicating, interacting, socialising with the surrounding environment and life throughout time. Learners are expected to have the skills to cooperate with others, control themselves, share thoughts and experiences with others, a sense of empathy, appreciate and respect others, not bullying. However, in building social skills, there must be supporting factors for the development of students' social skills, namely teachers, students, and the environment. The inhibiting factors are family, community environment, and the impact of technological advances, the flow of incoming western culture.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the learning outcomes and activities of class VIII A students in PPKn lessons on legislation material through the application of debate learning models. The results of the pre-research obtained an average score of 55.87, completed 2 people or 5%. After reflection, the average score in cycle II increased to 86.34 in the "Very Good" category, completed 38 people or 95%. The increase in the average score from the pre-test to cycle I was around 19. The increase in the percentage of achievement of the KKM score from the pre-test to the cycle was around 50%. It can be concluded that the application of the debate learning model is effective in the PPKn learning process on legislation material because it can significantly increase student activity and learning outcomes. The obstacles found in this study were that it took time, extra energy, and patience from the teacher, and overall parents and guidance were less than optimal.

Abstract

University students are a vulnerable group when facing emergencies and engaging in delinquent behaviors, often due to a lack of skills in managing environmental pressures. This issue is the main focus of a Community Service Program (PkM) implemented at Pamulang University. The objective of this program is to enhance students' preparedness for emergency situations and prevent their involvement in delinquent behaviors. The target of this program was 50 students from Pamulang University. The program activities included interactive lectures, case studies, practical training for handling emergencies (such as fires, accidents, and criminal acts), and educational sessions on the causes, impacts, and prevention of juvenile delinquency. The results indicated an 80% improvement in students’ knowledge of emergency handling strategies, a 75% increase in practical skills, and a 65% reduction in the potential involvement in delinquency, based on pre- and post-test evaluations. In conclusion, this PkM program effectively enhances students’ preparedness for emergency situations and provides a better understanding of juvenile delinquency prevention efforts. The program is expected to serve as a model for character development in higher education, fostering students who are prepared, responsive, and socially responsible.

Abstract

The development of engaged and accountable citizens is greatly aided by civic education. Multimedia is a powerful tool for communicating civic ideas in the digital age. According to research, multimedia can enhance students' comprehension through engaging visuals, high levels of involvement, and convenient accessibility. Multimedia integration in the curriculum can boost learning efficacy and promote student engagement. Multimedia serves as both a tool and a guide for technology-based learning. There are still issues, though, like kids' unequal digital abilities and restricted access to technology. Support and a fair allocation of resources are therefore required to ensure that every student can make the most of multimedia. Multimedia use is still a viable creative way to raise the standard of civic education, even when a lack of resources is a barrier. Strategies for deploying multimedia more successfully and inclusively require greater investigation

Abstract

This study presents the design and validation of a digital learning module aed at enhancing multicultural citizenship competence among higher education students. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) the module was tested across three Indonesian universities: STKIP Kusuma Negara, STKIP Arrahmaniyah, and Pamulang University. A total of 30 students participated in preliminary testing, followed by 54 students in field trials. The module and its accompanying web-based digital were evaluated by two subject matter experts and two media specialists to ensure content accuracy and media quality. Results showed high feasibility ratings (module: 87.56%; web digital: 91.31%), strong effectiveness (module: 88.71%; web digital: 88.80%), and notable practicality (module: 86.61%; web digital: 90.30%). Feedback from lecturers and students emphasized the module’s accessibility, clear structure, interactive features, and adaptability to diverse learning contexts. The digital format allowed for flexible integration into various teaching environments, promoting student engagement and cross-cultural understanding. This research contributes an innovative, culturally responsive, and technology-enhanced resource for civic education, supporting the development of inclusive, tolerant, and globally aware citizens in higher education settings. It also demonstrates the potential of digital pedagogy in advancing multicultural values in Curricula.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang telah dilakukan dengan metode literatur dan wawancara kepada pihak SMK Sasmita Jaya 2, menunjukan hasil kondisi dunia usaha dan industri, SMK, dan sistem ketenagakerjaan belum tertata dantersinkronisasi dengan baik. Hal ini menjadikan perlakuan dan kedudukan lulusan SMKbervariasi disetiap industri, sehingga terdapat lulusan SMK yang dihargai samadengan lulusan bukan sekolah kejuruan yang tidak mempersipakan lulusannya untukbekerja. Selain permasalahan tersebut, Kurikulum di SMK Sasmita Jaya 2 belum secaraoptimal mengacu pada Struktur Kurikulum Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK)/Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan (MAK) sebagiamana tertuang dalam Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor: 07/D.D5/Kk/2018. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metodepenelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sementara itu, untuk teknik pengumpulan data yangdigunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dimana teknik analisis datayang digunakan adalah analisis induktif.
