Abstract

The purpose of this development and research is to ascertain whether Stop Motion video learning media can be used to prohibit biological material about the human circulatory system. Media and materials experts have evaluated this idea. The ADDIE model is the development model used in this study. Class XI high school students were used as research subjects. The instrument used was a student response questionnaire. Based on the data analysis method: Validation of expert lecturers on the feasibility of the Stop Motion video received a score of 4.0 in the good category, and the reliability test showed an approval proportion of 85.3% (reliable). While the reliability test showed the proportion of agreement was 80.1% (reliable), the results of the Stop Motion video feasibility validation got a score of 3.9 in the good category. It can be concluded that making Stop Motion videos about the circulatory system in humans is very possible and can be used as an alternative method of learning biology. Abstract

Daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) merupakan tanaman yang kaya akan berbagai zat gizi penting seperti vitamin A, vitamin C, kalsium, zat besi, dan protein. Meskipun memiliki kandungan gizi yang sangat baik, namun pemanfaatan daun kelor di masyarakat Indonesia belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pengembangan usaha kecil menengah (UKM) dalam rangka meningkatkan perekonomian khususnya di Kecamatan Medan Denai sebagai alternatif pangan atau makanan ringan dan sebagai pendongkrak UMKM. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu PKK di Kecamatan Medan Denai tentang pengolahan daun kelor menjadi produk yang mudah dikonsumsi dan bernilai gizi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta dalam mengolah daun kelor menjadi produk yang sehat dan bergizi, seperti Mini Cookies Moringa dan Keripik Moringa. Produk tersebut dapat menjadi pilihan camilan yang lebih sehat dan bergizi dibandingkan camilan konvensional, serta dapat membantu meningkatkan asupan gizi masyarakat khususnya anak-anak, ibu hamil, dan ibu menyusui. Dengan pengemasan yang tepat dan jangkauan pemasaran yang lebih luas, produk olahan daun kelor berpotensi untuk lebih dikembangkan menjadi produk unggulan yang memiliki nilai pasar tinggi.

Abstract

Experts in the field of media and materials have evaluated this idea. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study are 11th grade high school students. The instrument used is a student response questionnaire. The data analysis results show that the expert lecturer's validation of the feasibility of stop motion videos scored 4.0 with a good category, and the reliability test shows an agreement percentage of 85.3% (reliable). Other reliability test results show an agreement percentage of 80.1% (reliable), with a stop motion video feasibility validation score of 3.9 and a good category. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of stop motion videos in teaching the human circulatory system material is very possible and can be one alternative method for learning Biology.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the often monotonous teaching of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPPKn) in elementary schools, which tends to reduce students’ motivation to think critically and solve problems. An innovative learning model is needed to improve students’ understanding and interest. The objective of this research is to enhance the understanding and learning outcomes of Grade I students in PPPKn through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SD Negeri 067240 Medan Tembung. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted over two weeks in the even semester of the 2025 academic year, from 7 to 22 March 2025, involving 21 Grade I students. The research object was PPPKn learning outcomes after implementing the PBL model. The results show that a PBL approach designed to be enjoyable for students improved academic performance, with the average score increasing from 71.81 in cycle I to 80.52 in cycle II. The percentage of students achieving mastery also rose from 62% in cycle I to 86% in cycle II, surpassing the success indicator of 80% of students meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal, KKM). These findings demonstrate that the PBL model is effective in improving PPPKn understanding and learning outcomes in elementary school students.

Abstract

Saat ini Sumatra Utara menempati urutan ke-17 dari 34 provinsi untuk angka stunting, sebesar 25,8%," kata Irzal dalam rapat koordinasi yang diadakan di kota Medan, Rabu (15 Juni 2022). Berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Bayi (SSGI) Indonesia 2021, prevalensi stunting di Sumatera Utara masih 25,8%. Berdasarkan data dari 34 balita (usia 1- 2 tahun) di Puskesmas Desa Helvetia Medan terdapat 8 anak balita yang mengalami stunting. Dari 8 balita tersebut didapati 4  balita laki-laki dan 4 balita perempuan mengalami stunting. Sehingga didapati data stunting sebesar di Desa Helvetia 23% hal ini bisa saja menunjukkan terjadinya masalah kesehatan dan gizi yang sudah lama tidak disadari.
