Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts to reduce the behavior of being late for lectures on students at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are descriptive, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use the Miles Huberman model analysis technique, namely in conducting data analysis there are four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The data validity guarantee technique in this study is to use triangulation. The results of this study are that there are two factors that cause students to be late, namely internal factors and external factors. And being late is divided into two types, namely intentional late and unintentional late. Efforts made to reduce late behavior in students are motivation, family, and lecturer guidance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam memanfaatkan media PowerPoint, menelaah persepsi siswa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 1 Binjai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI memanfaatkan PowerPoint tidak hanya sebagai media presentasi, tetapi juga sebagai strategi pedagogis integral dengan mengombinasikan teks, gambar, animasi, warna, dan video. Pemanfaatan ini terbukti membantu menjelaskan konsep abstrak, meningkatkan motivasi, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kolaboratif. Persepsi siswa terhadap PowerPoint sangat positif, di mana media ini dianggap mampu memperjelas materi, menarik perhatian, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi fasilitas sekolah yang memadai, keterampilan guru, dan dukungan kurikulum, sedangkan hambatan mencakup keterbatasan desain slide, waktu pembelajaran, dan variasi motivasi siswa. Kesimpulannya, PowerPoint berfungsi efektif apabila didukung prinsip desain multimedia yang tepat serta dikombinasikan dengan metode pembelajaran aktif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain media ajar, sehingga PowerPoint dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai instrumen pedagogis strategis dalam meningkatkan partisipasi, kreativitas, dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy implemented by Bimbapedia through Instagram social media in facing competition in the era of digital disruption. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with three key informants: institution owners, social media admins, and digital marketing staff. Data analysis was carried out using the NVivo application with a thematic coding approach based on Karl E. Weick's sensemaking theory. The results of the study show that Bimbapedia's communication strategy is built through a sensemaking process involving seven main characteristics: identity-based meaning, reflection of past experiences, creation of a meaningful digital environment, social collaboration, continuous content updates, interpretation of audience cues, and feasibility-based decision making. Instagram is used not only as a promotional medium but also as a space for interaction and construction of meaning with the audience. This study concludes that the success of a digital marketing strategy in the era of disruption depends not only on the presence of technology but also on the organization's ability to interpret and respond to digital dynamics adaptively and with value.
