Abstract

Donor darah merupakan kegiatan menyumbangkan darah, baik untuk kebutuhan darah pengganti maupun sebagai pendonor secara langsung, yang memiliki fungsi penting didalam berbagai pelayanan kesehatan. Angka kematian akibat dari tidak tersedianya cadangan darah pada negara berkembang relatif tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) dalam mengumpulkan dan mensosialisasikan donor darah kepada masyarakat ditengah pandemi covid-19 dan sebagai upaya membantu ketersediaan stok darah di Kota Makassar. Selain itu tujuan lainnya adalah mendorong peningkatan kepedulian masyarakat dalam kegiatan sosial ditengah masa pandemi covid-19 serta mewujudkan pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Dosen di Perguruan Tinggi STIKES Amanah Makassar, terutama di Kota Makassar, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, kegiatan donor darah ini merupakan kerjasama STIKES Amanah Makassar dan PMI Kota Makassar, Asosiasi Guru dan Dosen Seluruh Indonesia (AGDOSI), Lembaga 98, dan IKAT JEPANG Sulawesi Selatan dalam rangka membantu mengumpulkan darah untuk persiapan masyarakat secara sosial. Peserta yang terdaftar sejumlah 34 peserta dengan jumlah peserta dari mahasiswa (18 orang), dosen (5 orang), Ikat Jepang Sul-Sel (11 orang).

Abstract

Penyakit degeneratif disebabkan oleh kebiasaan individu dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari dimulai dari aktivitas hidup serta makanan yang dikonsumsi. Penyakit degeneratif diantaranya stroke, penyakit jantung koroner, hipertensi, kolesterol, diabetes mellitus dan obesitas. Kasus penyakit degeneratif juga merupakan penyakit terbesar yang menyebabkan kematian dan kecacatan di seluruh dunia. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan upaya untuk penguatan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat di desa Japing-Japing Kelurahan Bonto Langkasa Kec.Minasatene Kab.Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan disambut antusias oleh masyarakat dan tujuannya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang informasi kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan penyakit degeneratif dengan pemaparan materi dan diskusi dengan masyarakat. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 19 peserta diluar dari kader dan tenaga kesehatan yang sempat hadir. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat mulai mengerti dan memahami dan terlebih lagi menambah pengetahuan tentang penguatan kualitas kesehatan terhadap penyakit degeneratif. Dan masyarakat mampu mengendalikan kesehatan dengan baik guna mencapai derajat kesehatan yang lebih baik dengan upaya preventif dan kuratif.

Abstract

Breast care during the postpartum period is a necessity for mothers who have just given birth. The postpartum period itself is six weeks or 40 days after delivery. During the postpartum period, breast care is a very important action to care for the breasts, especially to facilitate the release of breast milk (ASI). Swollen breasts usually occur in the first days of a baby's birth. Data obtained from Barru Hospital showed five cases of swollen breasts. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between postpartum mothers' knowledge and attitudes towards breast care at Barru Hospital. This research uses a correlation analytical method with a cross sectional approach, data collection techniques using questionnaires with respondents namely postpartum mothers who receive services at Barru Hospital. Data analysis uses univariate analysis to test respondents' knowledge and attitudes and bivariate analysis to determine the relationship between variables. The results of univariate research with frequency distribution show that some respondents (52.5 %) have less knowledge, the attitude category shows that some respondents (52.5%) have an unsupportive attitude. The results of bivariate analysis with Chi-Square distribution obtained a value of 0.01 (p-value < 0.05). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that very few of the respondents (19%) were 4 people with little knowledge and a supportive attitude. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between postpartum mothers' knowledge and attitudes towards breast care at Barru Hospital. Advice to health workers to carry out continuous outreach and education about breast care.

Abstract

A nurse must be able to understand each different response from the patient to the suffering they experience and provide appropriate health services in each different response, both ongoing and future. Spiritual care is an activity in nursing to help patients that is carried out through attitudes and actions of nursing practice based on the values ​​of spiritual nursing, namely recognizing human dignity, kindness, compassion, serenity and gentleness. The purpose of this study was to improve the knowledge and skills of nurses in providing spiritual nursing care. The research method was patient spiritual care in an in-house training program. Results There was an increase in the knowledge and skills of nurses after participating in the activity. The conclusion shows that In-House Training can improve the knowledge and skills of nurses about spiritual nursing care.

Abstract

Herbal medicine is a traditional concoction as one of the widely known and utilized treatment efforts by the community with the aim of treating minor illnesses, preventing the onset of illness, maintaining endurance and health of the body. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the manufacture and use of herbal medicine so that the community is in a healthy condition "all are free from disease". This research method is a non-experimental study with a pretest and posttest design using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the majority with an average before drinking herbal medicine stated yes (50.3%) and no (49.7%) while those who consumed herbal medicine before answered yes (76.35%) while those who did not (23.7%). The conclusion that there was an increase in the percentage that was previously quite good because respondents felt the benefits for respondents from the herbal medicine and the results obtained by respondents after drinking herbal medicine gave a good response and their perception after consuming herbal medicine is known to have been passed down from generation to generation to make the body healthy and fit and increase body immunity.
