Abstract

Manusia merupakan mahluk yang diberikan berbagai kesempurnaan oleh Sang Pencipta. Berbagai kesempurnaan tersebut hadir melalui berbagai potensi yang dimilikinya. Panca indera untuk mengenal dunia secara empiris, akal untuk berpikir, dan hati untuk mencapai spiritualitas. Kesemuanya lengkap dimiliki hanya pada diri manusia. Oleh karenannya, Allah menjadikan manusia sebagai satu-satunya mahluk yang mendapat gelar khalifatullah fil ard yang bertugas untuk memakmurkan semesta beserta isinya. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengetahui tentang konsep dan penyebutan kata yang bermakna Ibu dalam al Quran dengan kajian tafsir tematik. Tafsir tematik memiliki kelebihan dalam mengungkap secara komprehensif istilah dan wacana dalam al Quran. Penelitian ini berbasis library research yang bertumpu pada isitlah Ibu dalam al Qur’an, dengan cara mengumpulkan seluruh ayat yang berkonotasi makna Ibu, yakni kata al-umm, al-walidah yang terdapat dalam penyebutan 39 kali. Pertanyaan sederhana, bagaimana mengetahui karakteristik ibu dalam perspektif kajian tafsir tematik ?. Sosok ibu selalu menjadi hal menarik untuk dikaji karena statusnya yang sangat mulia. Al Quran sebagai kitab suci juga memberikan penjelasan yang utuh tentang figur, keistimewaan seorang Ibu. Berdasarkan pembahasan yang dilakukan, faktor yang mendukung keutamaan seorang ibu muncul dari peranan ibu yang secara langsung mengadakan kontak fisik dengan anak sehingga tercipta hubungan emosional yang kuat antara ibu dan anak. Selain itu, beberapa kisah ibu di dalam al-Qur’an seperti kisah ibu Musa dan ibu Maryam juga mendukung adanya keutamaan yang muncul dari seorang ibu. Al-Qur’an menggambarkannya dengan naluri batin ibu yang khawatir dan gelisah ketika seorang anak terpisah dari ibunya dan juga adanya harapan keselamatan terhadap jiwa anak dan keturunannya melalui doa yang mustajab dari seorang ibu.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of religious tolerance in the Qur'an through a thematic interpretation approach and analyzes its implications in contemporary society. Religious tolerance is a crucial issue amid religious diversity, which is a global reality, including in Indonesia as a highly diverse country. However, there is still a gap in understanding how the Qur'an comprehensively views interfaith relations, which often leads to partial and contradictory interpretations. This study attempts to answer the following questions (1) How is the concept of religious tolerance in the Qur'an according to thematic interpretation studies? (2) What are the fundamental principles of religious tolerance contained in the Qur'an? (3) What are the implications of the concept of religious tolerance in the Qur'an for contemporary society? (4) How is the concept of religious tolerance practically implemented in the context of Indonesia as a multicultural country? This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting data from primary sources in the form of tafsir books and the Qur'an, as well as secondary sources in the form of journals, books, and related scientific articles. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis and comparative techniques to compare the various views of exegetes. The results of this study are expected to contribute to a holistic and contextual understanding of religious tolerance according to the Qur'an, while offering practical solutions for realizing peaceful and mutually respectful religious life amid the plurality of Indonesian and global societies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Ahmad Mustafa al-Maraghi's thoughts in his book, Tafsir al-Maraghi, regarding verses on social interaction and assess their relevance to contemporary social issues. The research problem focuses on how al-Maraghi's interpretive methodology explains human interaction and the extent to which this approach is effective in addressing the challenges of a modern pluralistic society. The research method used is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. Primary data comes directly from the text of Tafsir al-Maraghi, while secondary data is drawn from supporting literature on the adabi ijtima'i interpretation and the sociology of religion. The results show that al-Maraghi's interpretation emphasizes practical values ​​such as religious tolerance, social justice, interfaith cooperation, and ethical communication. Its main characteristics are the use of straightforward language, contextualization of verses with social realities, and an emphasis on morality. Al-Maraghi successfully integrates linguistic and historical analysis with sociological insights, striking a balance between classical tradition and the demands of modernity. In conclusion, Tafsir al-Maraghi is highly relevant as an ethical guide for Muslims seeking to foster harmony and constructive dialogue in a multicultural environment. This model is a prototype for developing contextual Islamic scholarship without abandoning the Koran's basic principles.
