Abstract

Based on the website of the Centre for Food and Drug Policy Analysis, in Indonesia in 2023 there were 1772 incidents due to food poisoning. North Sumatra Province is the fifth highest case in Indonesia in the scope of the region due to food poisoning. Good implementation should be applied in the HACCP food management quality system. Making rujak ulek from production to the final stage to consumers allows the fruit to be contaminated with pollutants because the fruit contains almost 100% water so it is easily damaged. This study aims to identify hazards related to the process of making rujak ulek in Bandar Khalipah Village, Deli Serdang Regency in 2024. This research is qualitative type with descriptive observational method using HACCP approach. The total sample used was 32 rujak ulek traders specifically on Jalan Pasar 7, Bandar Khalipah Village. This study uses research instruments in the form of interview guidelines, observation forms and stationery. The results showed that most of the rujak ulek traders have not fulfilled Personal Hygiene, Place/Sanitation Facilities, Processing/Serving of Good Food according to the Indonesian Minister of Health No. 942/Menkes/SK/VII/2003. Based on hazard identification there are 2 potential hazards and critical control points there are 4 processes identified in the process of making rujak ulek. There are researcher recommendations for rujak ulek traders related to personal hygiene and place/sanitation infrastructure and it is recommended to develop a HACCP system.

Abstract

Skin disease is a condition or disorder that affects the human skin. Factors that cause skin diseases include an unclean environment and inadequate personal hygiene behaviour. Poor personal hygiene behaviour can increase the risk of developing skin diseases. This study aims to find the relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of skin diseases in the population of Lorong Mesjid Lingkungan IV Bagan Deli Belawan. This study is quantitative and uses an analytical approach with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all people living in Lorong Mesjid Lingkungan IV Bagan Deli Belawan, with a total population of 1,963 people. This study involved a sample of 92 people selected using simple random sampling method and Lemeshow's formula. Data were collected through observation sheets and questionnaires filled out through interviews with respondents. Data were analysed using chi-square. The results showed that clothing hygiene, hand hygiene, towel use, and frequency of bathing had a significant relationship with the incidence of skin diseases, with a p-value of 0.001 each. Therefore, there was a significant association between the incidence of skin diseases and clothing hygiene, hand and nail hygiene, towel hygiene, and frequency of bathing. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between the use of footwear and the incidence of skin diseases. Therefore, residents in the coastal area of Lorong Mesjid Lingkungan IV Bagan Deli Belawan are advised to increase attention to personal hygiene, including skin hygiene, such as clothing care, hand and nail hygiene, towel hygiene, as well as increasing the frequency of bathing, and using footwear when doing activities outside the home.

Abstract

Kesehatan masyarakat merupakan hak asasi manusia yang harus diperhatikan, dan salah satu aspek fundamental dalam penyediaan layanan kesehatan yang berkualitas adalah ketersediaan serta pemeliharaan peralatan medis yang memadai. Peralatan medis yang terawat dengan baik akan mendukung efektivitas layanan kesehatan, meningkatkan akurasi diagnosis, serta mempercepat proses pengobatan pasien. Oleh karena itu, pemeliharaan alat kesehatan menjadi salah satu elemen kunci dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan, terutama di fasilitas layanan kesehatan tingkat daerah seperti Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Batu Bara. Namun, dalam implementasinya, terdapat berbagai tantangan yang harus diatasi, seperti ketersediaan sumber daya manusia, pemenuhan standar pelayanan, serta keberlanjutan pemeliharaan alat kesehatan itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pemeliharaan alat kesehatan dilakukan di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Batu Bara serta bagaimana hal tersebut memengaruhi kualitas layanan kesehatan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara langsung kepada staf bidang pengelola layanan kesehatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan untuk menggali pemahaman mengenai mekanisme pemeliharaan alat kesehatan, kendala yang dihadapi, serta langkah-langkah yang diambil untuk memastikan keberlanjutan pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan alat kesehatan di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Batu Bara telah diterapkan dengan baik. Pemeliharaan ini dilakukan melalui serangkaian prosedur yang mencakup inspeksi rutin, perbaikan jika ditemukan ketidaksesuaian, serta evaluasi berkala terhadap efektivitas alat dalam menunjang pelayanan kesehatan.  Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan alat kesehatan yang efektif berperan penting dalam menjamin kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di Kabupaten Batu Bara. Pengadaan alat kesehatan yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan fasilitas kesehatan menjadi faktor krusial dalam mengurangi potensi gangguan dalam pelayanan.

Abstract

One crucial aspect of human existence is the health sector. What's more, technology will never stop developing. Due to the convergence of digital, biological and physical systems, the health sector is the party most likely to benefit from Industry 4.0, but may also be the party least prepared. The aim of this research is to determine the financing received by the community from the JKN program in this era. digital, whether the program provides adequate health protection, and whether this program really causes an increase in welfare for society as a whole. The method used is to analyze articles published in the last 5 years through Google Scholar searches. The results of this research are that to achieve various important goals of health development in a country, such as equitable access to health care and quality services, strong, stable and sustainable health financing is very important. for health development. In the current digital era, the JKN financing and health service system is running well and the system used is getting easier and speeding up the verification process in administration.
