Abstract

This paper aims to find out what the paradigm and concept of knowledge integration are related to high specialization in varios disciplines which causes fragmentation of knowledge. This creates challengs in dealing with the complexity of global problems that cannot be solved with asingle discipline approach. A new paradigm is needed that encourages the ontegration of knowledge to be crucial in facing the dynamics of the times that demand comprehensive and collaborative solutions. The method used for this paper is qualitative research using library study data collection techniques. A paradigm is a person’s way of viewing themselves and their environment which will influence them in thinking , behaving and behaving. Apart from that , paradigm can also mean a set of assumptions, concepts, values and practices that are applied in viewing reality in the same community, especially in intellectual disciplines and integration is a combination of separate parts into one whole , in other words integrated means holistic or comprehensive. While syncretism is an effort to combine general knowledge with religious knowledge to create a new form of science and islam.

Abstract

Plurality in Indonesia is not a new problem, but something that has existed for a long time. Indonesia was built from a nation-state structure that cannot avoid the inevitability of diversity. History has written its reality through the form of Indonesian independence as a result of working together from the pluralistic strength of this nation. This research is a library research (Library Research) which aims to analyze the form of harmonization of plurality within the frame of Islamic law in Indonesia and the implementation of plurality within the frame of Islamic law in Indonesia. In this research, the authors used a normative approach, namely an approach with the aim of finding plurality in Indonesia, so that it is hoped that they can analyze the form of harmonization and implementation of plurality within the framework of Islamic law in Indonesia. Based on the research results, the form of harmonization of plurality within the framework of Islamic law is emphasized in QS. al-Hujurat/33. Islam does not deny plurality in society, because plurality itself is considered something that is God's law. The plurality of religions that have existed for a long time in Indonesia should be accepted by all religious adherents if we want to create a harmonious, harmonious and peaceful nation even though theology is different. In terms of implementation, it can be seen from the presence of religious tolerance in Indonesia. Recognition of religious, ethnic and racial diversity in Islamic law will create an inclusive and fair foundation for all Indonesian citizens. If the understanding and implementation of plurality within the framework of Islamic law is successfully achieved, then society will experience progress towards harmony and justice.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain, analyze and understand the theoretical construct of the philosophy of science paradigm. The type of research used is data collection techniques, library research, which examines, searches for and collects information from various sources. Basically, a theory is formulated to explain existing phenomena. Building a theory which is an abstract of a number of concepts agreed upon in definitions will experience development, and this development occurs when the theory is no longer relevant and no longer functions to solve problems. Acceptance of a theory in the scientific community does not mean that the theory has absolute truth. Every theory is always influenced by the assumptions and methods of the scientist who formulated it. The ability of a theory to predict what will happen is a criterion for the validity of the theory. Therefore, it is necessary to understand theoretical constructs as a basis for scientific research.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the epistemology of empiricism and the figures who support this school. To obtain relevant research results, this research uses data collection techniques or literature studies. The results of this research are that epistemology examines what science really is, where the source of knowledge comes from, and how the process occurs. Epistemology requires scientific methods in obtaining knowledge, one of these methods is empiricism, which emerged as a reaction to the weaknesses of rationalism. Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the meaning of the structure and hierarchy of science, the structure and hierarchy of science according to al-Ghazali, and the structure and hierarchy of science according to al-Farabi. The results of this research show: 1) The structure of science is a systematic collection of knowledge consisting of components that are interrelated or coordinated so that they can become a theoretical basis or provide an explanation. The hierarchy of knowledge is a sequence or level of knowledge; 2) Regarding scientific terminology, Al-Ghazali tries to map it into three global categories based on the level of obligation, source, and social function. In an ontological perspective, Al-Ghazali divides science into Fardhu 'Ain and Fardhu Kifayah. In the epistemological framework, science, according to Al-Ghazali, can be mapped into two, namely Sharia Science and Sharia Ghairu. In Al-Ghazali's reading, all knowledge that is included in the framework of sharia science is commendable. However, this is not the case with knowledge that falls within the domain of sharia-ghiru science. This knowledge is mapped into three domains, namely: praiseworthy, disgraceful, and neutral (mubah); 3) Al-Farabi classified science into two large groups, namely 'Aqliyyah (intellectual) sciences, which were then called Philosophical Sciences, and Naqliyyah (doctrinal) sciences, which were then called Religious Sciences.

Abstract

Causality is one of the most important topics in the history of philosophy, this is because the principle of causality is one of the main issues in the tradition of Islamic philosophy where the principle of causality is a fundamental issue in philosophy. In the Middle Ages, Muslim philosophers were busy with productive debates about causality that were seen solely from Islamic philosophy and Islamic theology, thus giving rise to debates among philosophers where each philosopher had his own opinion. In fact, it can be said that awareness of the world and representation in the world always depend on causal relationships. Finding all the relationships between cause and effect also provides insight into the causal structure of nature and forms the ability to learn to act intelligently in the world. Finding what actually causes the possibility of building causal patterns, and this allows for rational or logical predictions, decisions, and actions in the world. Causality forms a chain that begins in the past, exists in the present, and disappears in the future. The views of philosophers on the principle of causality have evolved from Plato, who emphasized the importance of causes in change, to Aristotle who distinguished four types of causes. The Stoics asserted that every event has a cause, while medieval philosophers distinguished between primary and secondary causes. In modern times, Hume emphasized the need for experience to understand causal relationships, while Kant argued that causality is based on the structure of reason. Mill added that causes are combinations of conditions. Overall, these developments reflect the complexity of views on causality in philosophy.

Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning, concept, position, and role of philosophy in Islam which is divided into two main views: the group that rejects philosophy and the group that accepts it. The group that rejects philosophy views it as a threat to the purity of Islamic teachings, while the group that accepts philosophy sees it as a tool to deepen the understanding of Islamic teachings through the use of reason and rationality. Philosophy has an important position in Islam, as evidenced by the history of Muslim philosophers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Rushd, who not only developed Islamic thought but also bridged the traditions of Greek and Western philosophy. In the context of Islam, philosophy helps answer contemporary challenges, understand the wisdom of religious teachings, and encourage a critical and rational approach to sacred texts. The philosophical approach in Islam also has a significant impact on the formation of science, such as ushul fiqh and tasawuf, and provides a framework for thinking to face modern challenges. Thus, philosophy and Islam complement each other in forming a deep and relevant understanding of religious teachings in everyday life.

Abstract

Speaking of the birth and development of philosophy, at the beginning of its birth it cannot be separated from the development of (science) knowledge that emerged during the Ancient civilization (Greek era). In 2000 BC, the Babylonians who lived in the Nile Valley (Egypt) and the Euphrates River had known weight measuring instruments, power number tables, multiplication tables using ten fingers. In this study, the author uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the main data source from library data. The results of the study show that the advantages of positivism are: Objectivity in positivism can be measured and tested empirically. Positivism recognizes the relativism of science. The implication is that it is more tolerant of differences in research results. Research using positivism can be applied to understand the past, present and predict the future. These advantages are related to the basic assumptions of positivism which aim to find general laws. Furthermore, these laws are able to describe the development of the history of the culture of a society. By using positivism, a researcher is only limited to the study of empirical socio-cultural phenomena. That means, they are only fixated on empirical reality and deny imaginary reality (discourse) when conducting research. Whereas a society has both realities in its daily life.

Abstract

Pentingnya pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai etika dalam Islam tidak bisa diabaikan. Etika Islam tidak hanya mencakup aspek moralitas individual, tetapi juga membawa dampak yang signifikan pada tatanan sosial dan masyarakat. Begitu pula dengan estetika, yang mengarah pada pemahaman tentang keindahan dan kesempurnaan dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman mendalam terhadap nilai etika beserta estetika dalam Islam dapat menjadi landasan yang kuat dalam membentuk karakter pribadi yang beradab mulia dan masyarakat yang berbudya. Melalui metode analisis teks-teks klasik dan kontemporer dalam literatur Islam, penelitian ini akan menggali konsep-konsep etika dan estetika dalam Islam, serta menjelaskan bagaimana konsep-konsep ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam konteks pendidikan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang pentingnya nilai-nilai etika serta estetika dalam pendidkan Islam, serta terlibat praktisnya dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan yang berfokus pada pembentukan karakter dan keindahan dalam pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Etika membahas baik-buruk atau benar-tidaknya tingkah laku dan tindakan manusia serta sekaligus menyoroti kewajiban-kewajiban manusia. Etika tidak mempersoalkan apa atau siapa manusia itu, tetapi bagaimana manusia seharusnya berbuat atau bertindak. Estetika juga merupakan bidang studi filsafat manusia yang mempersoalkan nilai keindahan. Keindahan mengandung arti bahwa dalam diri segala sesuatu terdapat unsur-unsur yang tertata secara tertib dan harmonis dalam satu kesatuan hubungan yang utuh menyeluruh.

Abstract

Kajian terhadap Hadis kemudian beralih kepada usaha untuk mengelaborasi kitab-kitab induk di atas. Seperti men-syarh yang dapat dikatakan menafsirkan dalam kajian al-Qur`an, yaitu menjelaskan makna-makna yang sulit dalam Hadis, menjelaskan pendapat ulama mengenai kandungan hukum dalam matan atau isi dari Hadis atau menjelaskan kondisi sanad dan kontroversi mengenainya. Di dalam makalah ini akan di bahas tentang sejarah penulisan kitab-kitab hadis dan berbagai metode-metode penulisan kitab hadis, baik itu kitab sumber yakni kitab  yang menjadi rujukan sumber dimana hanya keterlibatan penulis kitab dalam kitab tersebut, ataupun kitab kajian di mana kitab-kitab ini mengkaji atau ada keterlibatan penulis lain dalam kitab tersebut. Para sahabat dalam menjaga dan menghafal hadis secara akurat, yaitu dengan penghafalan, merekam, dan praktik. Yang pertama adalah penghafalan, para sahabat telah terbiasa untuk mendengar perkataan nabi, dan memperhatikan perbuatan beliau dengan sangat hati-hati, dan di antara para sahabat terbiasa untuk membahas dan mempelajari ulang apa yang telah disampaikan nabi. Yang kedua adalah merekam, para sahabat yang memiliki kemampuan dalam menulis memiliki tugas khusus dalam mencatat hadis-hadis yang diperoleh dari nabi. Yang ketiga adalah praktik, para sahabat mempraktikkan apa yang telah mereka dapat dari nabi. Perkembangan hadis pada Rasulullah masyarakat umat Islam masih terbilang kurang memahami hadis maupun menulis hadis. Pada masa ini Rasulullah selalu menekankan kepada sahabat agar selalu memahami hadis dan menyampaikanya kepada umat Islam. Salah satu kebijakan terbesar Nabi terkait pemeliharaan hadis adalah dengan memerintahkan para shahabat untuk menghafal.
