Abstract

This study conducts the measurement of user experience (UX) of the CLASS-IPB Learning Management System (LMS) using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The research was carried out through several stages, including a literature review, method determination, data collection, and data analysis using UEQ Data Analysis Tools. It involved 45 students who provided feedback on six UX aspects: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Results indicated that CLASS-IPB excels in pragmatic qualities, particularly in efficiency, perspicuity, and dependability, with scores above the benchmark average. However, the system scored lower in hedonic qualities, specifically in stimulation and novelty, suggesting areas for improvement. The study concludes that while CLASS-IPB is effective in aiding task completion and user control, it needs enhancements to become more motivating and innovative.

Abstract

One of the roles of current technology is online attendance recording (e-presence) based on facial recognition and GPS, which was previously dominantly done in the traditional way through paper recording. This manual attendance causes a lot of fraud, such as absentee deposits and forged signatures so that they are not effective in recording them. The purpose of this paper is to provide an analysis related to the exploration of user perception of facial recognition and GPS-based attendance. The method used is of a qualitative type, by analyzing and synthesizing findings from relevant previous research. This research was conducted to help understand technology as a solution to student cheating in absenteeism. Face and location presence use facial recognition features in biometric technology that are able to provide high accuracy, and the implementation of GPS aimed at verifying the user's location. The results of qualitative analysis, facial recognition-based attendance and GPS are effective and practical solutions to overcome fraud in attendance recording.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of an online beauty service reservation system at Cakra Skin Beauty Clinic using the Waterfall methodology. The project begins with requirement analysis, followed by interface design, system coding, and testing. Functional testing results show that 85.84% of the 113 test scenarios were successful, while security testing using OWASP ZAP identified 23 potential vulnerabilities. The system features automated service booking, admin scheduling management, and email notification. This research contributes to the development of an online clinic reservation system with integrated security measures and extensibility for payment integration and automated reminders. The system is expected to serve as a reference for building information systems in beauty service clinics and to improve the efficiency of existing clinical services.
