Abstract

Peternakan broiler memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar. Usaha ini dapat memberikan keuntungan finansial, terutama jika dikelola dengan baik. Banyak peternak yang tertarik untuk memasarkan hasilnya karena potensi pendapatan yang menjanjikan dari penjualan broiler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat peternak dalam memasarkan hasil usaha ternak broiler di Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2023 di Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa dengan sampel sebanyak 30 peternak dan menetapkan Desa Bone, Desa Bontosunggu, Desa Lempangang dan Desa Pabentengan sebagai lokasi penelitian. Jenis penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang adalah deskriptif statistik, yaitu suatu analisis yang memberikan gambaran secara umum mengenai karakteristik dari masing-masing variabel penelitian. Penyajian data penelitian ini dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan pengukuran dengan menggunakan skala likert. Setiap pernyataan dari indikator yang menggambarkan masing-masing variabel diberi nilai skor 1 sampai dengan 5 (sangat tidak setuju hingga sangat setuju). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat peternak dalam memasarkan hasil usaha ternak broiler di Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa berdasarkan permintaan ternak broiler, ketersediaan ternak broiler dan pendapatan berada pada kategori Tinggi, sedangkan ketersediaan modal berada pada kategori Cukup. Penelitian ini sangat bermanfaat untuk memberikan pandangan baru dan dalam pemasaran hasil ternak broiler, yang pada akhirnya dapat membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternak.

Abstract

Posyandu cadres have a strategic role in monitoring child growth and development, but their limited skills can hinder service optimization. This community service activity aims to improve the skills of posyandu cadres through practice-based training in the Motui Health Center work area, North Konawe. Training methods include lectures, simulations, group discussions, and field practice. The results showed an increase in cadre skills in monitoring child growth and development (from 50.0% to 73.3%), measuring body dimensions (from 90.0% to 100%), and counseling (from 66.7% to 90.0%). The average cadre skill score also increased, especially in measuring body dimensions with an increase of 21.6 points. This training shows that cadre training helps improve child growth and development monitoring skills. It is recommended that ongoing training programs and routine refresher courses be provided evenly to ensure optimal quality of posyandu services.

Abstract

Feed costs in beef cattle farming can reach more than 60-70% of total production costs. Therefore, feed technology innovation is crucial to improve the efficiency and sustainability of livestock businesses. The objective of this study was to determine the level of adoption of fermented feed technology and how this impacts the efficiency of beef cattle farming.  The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The method of determining the research area using purposive method, so that Bontonompo Subdistrict, Gowa Regency was chosen. The method of determining the sample using purposive method, with a total sample of 40 farmers as respondents. Data collection methods used were observation, interview, and questionnaire.  The results showed that the level of adoption of fermented feed technology was in the medium to high category. The use of this technology is proven to improve business efficiency, with better livestock yields and lower feed costs. The results show that the adoption of fermented feed technology has a positive and significant effect on beef cattle business efficiency. Fermented feed technology can be an alternative option to increase the productivity of beef cattle farms. This study contributes significantly to improving business efficiency in beef cattle farming through cost-effective feed strategies, while also serving as a practical learning model that enhances the entrepreneurial competence of animal husbandry students. The integration of fermented feed technology into the curriculum supports experiential learning, preparing students to apply sustainable agribusiness innovations in real-world livestock industries.
