Abstract

The study explores factors affecting Net Interest Margins (NIM) in Indonesia's Core Capital Bank Groups. Using data from Jan 2021 to Mar 2022 and the Error Correction Model, it finds negative short-term correlations between BOPO and LDR with NIM in KBMI 1 and positive long-term correlations with BI Rate. KBMI 2 exhibits negative short-term correlations between inflation and LDR with NIM. KBMI 3 shows negative short-term correlations with Covid-19, LDR, and BOPO with NIM. KBMI 4 experiences negative impacts from BOPO, Covid-19, and LDR on NIM in both short and long terms. The study emphasizes the importance of managing operational costs and credit distribution for NIM stability in the short term and highlights the significant influence of Bank Indonesia's benchmark interest rate policy on NIM in the long term, requiring careful adjustments to prevent excessive fluctuations.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq, shadaqah dan wakaf (ZISWAF) menjadi contoh instrumen dalam mensejahterakan umat dan membangun suatu Negara. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan ZISWAF dan literasi keuangan Islam, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan baik yang bersifat pemberdayaan dan pendampingan. Untuk itu tim pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi Univesitas Sriwijaya melakukan upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pengurus masjid desa binaan Universitas Sriwijaya yaitu Desa Ulak Kembahang II Kecamatan Pemulutan Barat Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dalam menjalankan pengelolaan dana ZISWAF. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang dana ZISWAF,  edukasi prinsip dasar dan konsep keuangan Islam, lembaga keuangan Islam serta kontrak (akad) dan produk dan jasa lembaga keuangan Islam. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 82.86 persen peserta telah memahami materi keuangan Syariah, sementara 86.40 persen peserta sudah memahami materi ZISWAF. Sebanyak 52 peserta menunjukkan kesetujuan bahwa materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sangat relevan dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pendampingan akses pemodalan usaha melalui lembaga perbankan bagi UMKM binaan LPP PEKKA Yayasan Masjid Agung Palembang. Kegiatan berlangsung pada hari Sabtu, 14 Oktober 2023, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 anggota UMKM. Materi yang diberikan mencakup literasi lembaga keuangan, meliputi jenis-jenis lembaga keuangan, fungsi, serta produk dan jasa yang ditawarkan. Selain itu, peserta juga mendapatkan pendampingan dalam proses pengajuan kredit ke lembaga keuangan, baik bank maupun non-bank. Materi yang disampaikan termasuk persyaratan pengajuan kredit, pembuatan profil usaha, serta penyusunan proposal kredit.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of core capital tier 1 (CCT), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), leverage ratio (LR), interconnection ratio (INR) and on stability financial that measured from credit growth rate (CGR) in Indonesia. Data in this study used secondary data with a time series of Jan 2012–Dec 2022 using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. The estimation results show that variables that have a significant relationship to financial stability in the short term are LDR and CCT variables. In long term results, there is a positive relationship between LDR and CGR. For a given level of risk, having more capital can in principle imply greater stability. Core Capital Tier 1 assess bank resilience to adverse economic situations and maintain the stability of the financial system.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of training programs aimed at enhancing the marketing of environmentally sustainable culinary products through eco-friendly packaging design and label creation. Concurrently, the label creation training focused on the design of informative and visually appealing labels that align with environmental sustainability principles, thereby enhancing the marketability and branding of culinary products. Evaluation results indicated a high level of effectiveness, with 93.93% of participants demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the training content. Moreover, the technical training on label creation received a participant satisfaction rating of 93.09%, highlighting the program’s success in delivering both theoretical and practical knowledge. These findings underscore the significance of training programs in fostering innovation and sustainability within the culinary industry.
