Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in improving the character of students at SMAK 7 PENABUR Jakarta. The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project is designed to integrate Pancasila values—such as belief in God, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice—into daily student activities. The study aims to measure how effective the project is in shaping student character, identify factors influencing its effectiveness, and analyze student and teacher perceptions of the program. Using a quantitative research method with purposive sampling, data were collected through surveys and interviews. Results show that Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project positively impacts students' character development, particularly in areas of cooperation, critical thinking, and social responsibility. However, the study also highlights challenges, including varying levels of student engagement and resource limitations. The findings suggest that continuous evaluation and improvement of the program are necessary to maximize its benefits. The study implies that schools should provide better support for teachers and include more practical applications of Pancasila values in both curricular and extracurricular activities. It is recommended that future research explore long-term impacts and scalability of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project program across different educational settings. Overall, this study contributes to the theoretical understanding of character education and offers practical insights for improving value-based educational initiatives.

Abstract

The gig economy, characterized by flexibility and temporary work arrangements, continues to grow rapidly, especially after the pandemic. While it offers appeal to many workers, this model faces significant challenges in talent management, such as income uncertainty, lack of access to benefits, and limitations in career development. This research aims to explore effective talent management strategies to attract and retain gig workers. The results show that a comprehensive approach is needed, including an efficient hiring process, skills development opportunities, and an inclusive work culture to increase worker engagement and loyalty. Case studies from successful organizations like Uber and Upwork illustrate best practices, including flexible work schedule offerings, financial incentives, and professional development resources. The study concludes that organizations need to continuously evaluate and adjust their talent management strategies to stay competitive. By adopting a holistic approach that is responsive to the needs of gig workers, organizations can not only attract and retain top talent but also contribute to the growth and sustainability of the gig economy as a whole.

Abstract

Lighthouses are crucial part of Aids to Navigation, playing a vital role in ensuring maritime safety in Indonesian waters. Currently, lighthouse operations still rely on human resources, Lighthouse Keepers and Technicians, who are stationed in outposts and face various operational challenges. This condition necessitates the modernization of lighthouse management systems to enhance efficiency and adaptability in maritime safety challenges. This study explores the concept of an unmanned system as an optimal solution for lighthouse operations by leveraging technologies such as satellite-based monitoring applications, drones, and hazard detection radar. Through the implementation of this system, lighthouses can be managed remotely without the need for continuous on-site personnel presence. The proposed operational model not only improves the efficiency of lighthouse monitoring and maintenance but also minimizes safety risks for field personnel. This idea was first introduced by Hendaviny Kartomo, SE, M.Kom, a famous marine transportation professional who is the Head of Distrik Navigasi Tipe A Kelas II Banjarmasin. The notion has been presented at several internal maritime transportation forum. With this modernization, it is expected that maritime navigation safety and efficiency in Indonesia will be significantly enhanced.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education is a key factor in improving the quality of learning and preparing students to face global challenges. The problem in this study is the lack of digital understanding of teachers and students. This study aims to analyze the role of school principals and teachers in the implementation of digital leadership, the implementation of education digitalization, and the results of students' digital mastery in technological development at Cahaya Sakti Jakarta Senior High School. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study show that school principals play the role of transformational leaders who drive the adoption of technology in learning. Teachers play a role as facilitators in building students' digital literacy through the use of various digital learning platforms. The implementation of digitalization of education in schools is carried out through the development of technology-based curriculum, the use of digital-based school administration systems, and the integration of technological devices in teaching and learning activities. The results of students' digital mastery showed a significant increase in critical thinking skills, creativity, and adaptation to technology. However, challenges are still faced in equitable access and understanding of technology among students and educators. The conclusion of this study confirms that effective digital leadership, adequate infrastructure support, and continuous training for teachers and students are key factors in creating a golden generation 2045 that is ready to compete in the digital era.

Abstract

Indonesia is strategically positioned as the world's largest archipelagic country with more than 17,000 islands and vital shipping lanes connecting the Indian and Pacific Oceans, making it a global maritime logistics hub. However, this potential is constrained by logistics infrastructure disparities, especially in the eastern region which faces limitations in port capacity and shipping frequency. This study aims to analyze Indonesia's maritime policy 2021-2025 in overcoming logistics challenges, improving inter-island connectivity, and integrating modern technology for operational efficiency. The results of the study show that the Sea Toll program has succeeded in reducing price disparities between islands through increased connectivity, although the efficiency of loading and unloading and warehousing still needs to be improved. Initiatives such as real-time tracking and satellite-based AIS systems have been proven to improve port security and productivity. The conclusions of the study emphasize the importance of policy harmonization, investment in strategic ports (such as Patimban), and the implementation of sustainable practices to maximize Indonesia's geographical advantage. Global collaboration through events such as Indonesia Maritime Week 2025 and the adoption of digitalization are key to strengthening Indonesia's position as a sustainable global maritime hub.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the world's largest archipelagic country, has a strategic geographical position between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, making it an important fulcrum in the global maritime logistics system. This research aims to describe the potential, opportunities, and challenges faced by Indonesian waters in supporting global ocean trade flows. The results show that although Indonesia's waters have vital shipping lanes such as the Strait of Malacca that transport about 30% of global trade, various challenges such as inadequate maritime infrastructure and maritime security issues, such as piracy, still hinder trade efficiency. The discussion included the importance of improving the capacity and quality of port infrastructure, strengthening maritime surveillance and patrols, and integrating domestic port networks to improve connectivity. In addition, the application of digital technology in logistics management and international cooperation to improve maritime security was also discussed as a strategic step. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that with the right measures, Indonesia can strengthen its position as a competitive world maritime center and contribute more to the global economy.

Abstract

This research explores the opportunities and challenges in implementing information technology (IT) innovations in Indonesia's education sector. The study examines key variables such as infrastructure, internet access, and teacher training, using qualitative methodologies including case studies and literature reviews. Data were collected from various sources over the past decade. Findings highlight that while IT can enhance education quality and access, particularly through e-learning and digital tools, significant barriers remain due to Indonesia's geographical diversity and unequal infrastructure. The research suggests strategies for overcoming these challenges, such as accelerated infrastructure development, increased research funding, and comprehensive teacher training programs. These insights aim to inform policy and practice, enhancing IT integration in Indonesian education.

Abstract

This study examines how implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in human resource management (HR) impacts employee engagement and operational efficiency. By automating tasks like data management, scheduling, and payroll, AI enables HR teams to focus on strategic initiatives such as talent management and culture development. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review, the research finds that AI adoption improves operational efficiency by 30% and enhances employee engagement through personalized experiences and real-time feedback. Additionally, AI supports better strategic decision-making with predictive employee data analysis. However, challenges include employee resistance and the need for HR retraining. For optimal results, companies should strengthen internal communication and establish supportive policies that enhance engagement and well-being through AI integration.
