Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has many cultures and tribes, one of which is the Betawi tribe, one of their cultures is the giant Betawi doll which is usually called Ondel-Ondel, people consider it a sacred culture and very appropriate to use in ancestor worship ceremonies. spirit. According to a cultural expert, Ondel-Ondel, also called barongan or more recently. very closely related to Betawi culture. Therefore, exploring local wisdom values ​​is a strategic step in an effort to build national character. This research aims to identify various types of local Betawi culture that can be included in elementary school thematic material. Elementary school thematic material in Betawi is the subject of this research, and the context and content of local Betawi culture is the research subject. This research collects data through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that local Ondel-Ondel culture can be integrated into thematic material in elementary schools including (1) traditional rituals, (2) ethnic diversity, and (3) honesty, (4) works of art, (5) cultural sites, (6) have a brave attitude (7) handicrafts The results show that local Betawi culture can be included in thematic material in elementary schools

Abstract

Purpose of the study: determine the improvement of the learning process in the 21st century by applying the problem based learning model learning in elementary school students. Methodology: The learning method used in this scientific work is a literature review or literature review with several stages, namely searching for materials or reference materials on Google Scholar accredited by DOAJ, Sinta, Google Scholar, and so on that are in accordance with the theme to be researched, collecting 30 references that have been obtained. Main Findings: shows that the problem based learning model is effective in improving the quality of learning at various levels of education, including primary and secondary education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study uses a literature review by analyzing several previous research results and combining them into one so that it becomes a new discovery.

Abstract

Meningioma is one of the most common types of benign intracranial neoplasms with a percentage of 30% of all primary brain tumors. Objective: to provide education to the public, including risk factors and treatment efforts related to meningioma. Methods: Education was carried out during a visit to the home of one of the patients in Krendang Village. The service team consists of 7 students and 1 accompanying lecturer. Home visits were carried out twice, on November 13 and 14 2023, to a 53 year old woman with chief complaint was ringing in her ears. The results of the physical examination showed blood pressure 170/90 mmHg, BMI 27.63 Kg/m2, the results of the last blood sugar level were 280 mg/dl, the results of the MRI examination concluded that there was a meningioma in the left temporal region. Results: Patient understanding regarding controlling risk factors, symptoms and signs, complications, treatment and prevention efforts for meningiomas. Conclusion: Education is an important part of comprehensive meningioma management. Family and local community support can help patients with meningioma undergo treatment to improve quality of life

Abstract

This outreach activity is in collaboration with one of the elementary school education agencies, namely SDN Perwira IV, Bekasi City. The object of counseling in this research is all class V students. The method used is an outreach method about Clean and Healthy Lifestyles in which there are several activities ranging from presentation of material to practice carried out by students. Based on the results of the activities carried out, students are able to know how to wash their hands properly and correctly, get used to consuming healthy and nutritious food, and how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. In conclusion, students already know and are able to implement a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) in the school environment.
