Abstract

This training aims to provide understanding and skills to applying project-based learning (PjBL) innovations to improve 21st Century competencies through cinematography in an effective and entertaining way. The training was attended by 28 teachers in the multimedia room of SMAN 1 Garum. The training and mentoring method has three stages, such as presentation using power point media, video tutorials, and product examples; practice and assistance in making products; and uploading products. The results of this training and mentoring were that all participants were able to complete and upload the training products with enthusiasm, effectiveness, and fun. It is recommended that the training and mentoring methods applied by the presenters can be obtained by the participants in applying PjBL to students.

Abstract

AbstractIn Indonesia, religious moderation is crucial for it promotes tolerance and prevents the growth of extreme ideas, especially among the younger population. Despite its significance, there is a lack of study on students' comprehension of religious moderation in areas like West Java, where intolerance is more prevalent and leaves a void in discussing educational tactics to raise awareness. This study aimed to assess how West Javan students perceive religious moderation and investigate methods for improving their knowledge and utilization of its tenets. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach; data were gathered from 1,200 students actively involved in campus organizations at five West Javan universities. Questions about national identity, religious behaviors, and religious moderation were included in surveys disseminated using Google Forms. Clustering techniques were used to group student response patterns, and descriptive statistics, such as mean analysis, were used to evaluate general tendencies. The results highlighted the necessity for focused interventions, showing that while 43% of students lack adequate understanding, 57% of students comprehend religious moderation. There are, however, still gaps in addressing misunderstandings and extremism susceptibility despite the broad acceptance of Pancasila as a unifying concept and the general support for diversity and tolerance. These findings underscored the need for specialized educational programs that enhance students' ability to foster tolerance and unity while highlighting students' potential as agents of inclusion and harmony. Future studies should therefore concentrate on evaluating the success of these initiatives, comparing different geographical areas, and investigating how social media affects students' attitudes toward religious moderation.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut calon guru memiliki kompetensi pedagogik yang selaras dengan perkembangan teknologi. Computational Thinking (CT) menjadi keterampilan inti dalam pendidikan modern, terutama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan pengambilan keputusan. Namun, metode evaluasi dalam pendidikan calon guru masih cenderung konvensional dan belum mampu mengukur keterampilan CT secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model evaluasi adaptif berbasis CT untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik calon guru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) Borg & Gall, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan model, pengembangan bank soal berbasis CT, validasi pakar, dan uji coba terbatas pada mahasiswa PPG. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model evaluasi adaptif berbasis CT efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa, yang tercermin dari peningkatan proporsi mahasiswa pada kategori “Sangat Baik” setelah implementasi model. Model ini juga mendorong mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir komputasional secara reflektif, kolaboratif, dan adaptif, sesuai tuntutan pendidikan abad 21.

Abstract

This study aims to portray the resilience of Using culture through a phenomenological study of 'street singers' (pengamen) in Banyuwangi. The street singers of Banyuwangi also colore the richness of Using culture and appear to present Using ethnic songs in expressing their artistic activities. The influence of global culture is increasingly difficult to be blocked [1] [2], meanwhile geographically, the location of the cultural existence is precisely at the crossroads of two major cultures, namely Javanese and Balinese cultures [3]. Qualitative research through phenomenological studies was conducted through in-depth interviews with cultural actors (street singers) and the Using supporting community of Banyuwangi. The data is then analyzed through the sequence stages: (1) transcribing the recorded interview results to written form, (2) bracketing (epoche), (3) taking an inventory of important statements (horizonalization), (4) formulating into the meaning (cluster of meaning) and (5) performing the descriptions of the essence. The results of this study cover two important things. First, Using culture can survive because of the aclak (active), bingkak (creative) and ladak (innovative) spirits of Using cultural actors. Second, the acceptance of the Banyuwangi community in general for the artistic expression of Using songs due to the consequences of the defense (uri-uri) spirit of the community. This study concludes that the preservation of Using culture is based on the internal spirit (active, creative, innovative) of cultural actors and external spirit, namely the process of preservation (uri-uri).

Abstract

Society 5.0 demands computational thinking (CT) skills among university students, particularly prospective economics teachers. This study examines how pedagogical competence and scientific capability key competencies of pre-service teachers influence CT, with locus of control (LOC) as a mediator. Data were collected via cross sectional survey from 375 economics education students (semester 5-8) across five Indonesian state universities (Java region) using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) grounded in Rotter's LOC theory (1966) and Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory (1997). Findings reveal pedagogical competence (β=0.929, p<0.01) and scientific capability (β=0.148, p<0.05) significantly predict CT directly, while LOC partially mediates both relationships (H6: β=1.820, p<0.001; H7: β=0.148, p<0.01). This study offers novel theoretical contributions by validating LOC mediation in non-STEM economics education context, unique to Indonesia's collectivist culture. Practically, findings inform teacher education programs (PPG/PGS) to integrate CT pedagogy modules that target the development of internal LOC in learning, and prepare educators to face the challenges of the digital economy.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan program menghafal Al-Qur'an memerlukan peran pengajar yang strategis dalam mengelola bimbingan dan motivasi santri guna menjaga kualitas hafalan secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam peran pengajar dalam proses bimbingan, pemberian motivasi, serta sistem evaluasi hafalan di Madrasah Tahfizhul Qur'an Minhajus Sunnah Magelang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga orang pengajar yang memiliki pengalaman mengajar selama sepuluh hingga lima belas tahun serta para santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengajar menerapkan metode talaqqi dengan pembagian jadwal yang ketat antara setoran hafalan baru dan hafalan lama untuk menjaga kualitas kemutkinan. Selain itu, pengajar berperan sebagai motivator utama melalui pendekatan personal dan spiritual guna mengatasi kendala psikologis santri seperti rasa malas atau penurunan semangat. Sistem evaluasi dilakukan secara kontinu setiap hari menggunakan instrumen buku pantauan hafalan yang mencatat perkembangan ayat, tingkat kelancaran, serta melibatkan koordinasi aktif dengan orang tua melalui catatan dan paraf. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas peran pengajar sebagai pembimbing dan motivator sangat menentukan keberhasilan santri dalam mencapai target hafalan, di mana sinergi antara bimbingan metode yang tepat, motivasi yang intensif, dan evaluasi yang terukur mampu mengatasi berbagai hambatan dalam proses menghafal Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya nilai sanad dalam pendidikan Al-Qur’an yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penjaga keotentikan ilmu, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter santri. Dalam praktik pendidikan Al-Qur’an, nilai sanad mengajarkan adab, kedisiplinan, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai sanad dalam pembentukan karakter santriwati melalui praktik living Qur’an di Ma’had Ashhabul Qur’an Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap kegiatan keseharian santriwati, pengalaman langsung peneliti dalam proses pembinaan, serta dokumentasi aktivitas pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sanad diimplementasikan melalui pembiasaan talaqqi secara langsung, penanaman adab sebelum ilmu, keteladanan guru, serta pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam aktivitas harian santriwati. Praktik tersebut berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter santriwati yang disiplin, bertanggung jawab, rendah hati, dan berakhlak Qur’ani. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan nilai sanad dalam pendidikan Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan living Qur’an memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter santri dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan mengomparasikan optimalisasi peran musyrif dalam mengatasi kesenjangan capaian hifzhul Quran santri jenjang Tahfizh dan Tadrībuddu’āt di Ma’had Minhajussunnah Magelang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah belum tercapainya target hafalan santri di kedua jenjang yang diduga terkait keterbatasan peran musyrif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif komparatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik _purposive sampling_ terdiri dari 2 musyrif Tahfizh, 2 musyrif Tadrībuddu’āt, 3 santri Tahfizh, dan 3 santri Tadrībuddu’āt. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran musyrif di jenjang Tahfizh lebih dominan sebagai _muhaffidz_ fokus ziyadah, sedangkan di Tadrībuddu’āt lebih dominan sebagai _muwajjih_ fokus muroja’ah dan mental dakwah. Kesenjangan terjadi karena rasio bimbingan 1:25 dan beban ganda musyrif. Strategi optimalisasi yang ditemukan adalah klasifikasi halaqah berbasis kemampuan dan program _ta’awun_ antar musyrif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya integrasi nilai akhlak dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang masih cenderung berfokus pada aspek kognitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam Surat Luqman ayat 12–19 serta merumuskan model integrasinya dalam pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka melalui analisis sumber-sumber ilmiah relevan lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai akhlak dalam ayat tersebut meliputi tauhid, syukur, birrul walidain, kesadaran pengawasan Allah, serta etika sosial, yang dapat diintegrasikan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran, metode reflektif, pendekatan kontekstual, pembiasaan, dan evaluasi afektif. Kesimpulannya, integrasi nilai akhlak secara sistematis mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI dan membentuk karakter peserta didik secara holistik. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan pendekatan integratif dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Qur’an
