Abstract

Education remains linked to human life, using experiences that provide understanding and insight to develop. Giving rewards is one of the educational tools used to improve student learning outcomes in class. The goal of the reward system is to make students more attentive and focused during lessons. Good intentions towards IPAS can encourage students to study in order to obtain good learning results. It is hoped that giving rewards can be used as a strategy to improve student learning outcomes in science courses. This research uses literature study or field work as an investigative method. The data used in this research comes from the results of analysis of several articles, journals, books and articles related to research variables. In addition, this research uses a descriptive-analytic approach to examine the relationship between the learning outcomes of science and science students in basic education and the award system through a review of previous research publications. According to this research, a consistent reward system can improve student learning outcomes in science and technology subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Sel kulit mati bisa terjadi akibat banyak faktor, seperti bertambah usia, paparan sinar matahari, dan gaya hidup tidak sehat, tanda-tanda masalah kulit akibat penumpukan sel kulit mati adalah kulit kusam, jerawat, dan kulit kering. Luluran adalah salah satu perawatan kulit yang bisa memberikan banyak manfaat untuk kesehatan dan kecantikan kulit. Luluran adalah proses pengelupasan sel-sel kulit mati dengan menggunakan scrub atau bahan alami. Bahan alami yang bisa digunakan untuk luluran diantaranya adalah kopi dan beras ketan. Kopi tidak hanya memiliki memiliki segudang manfaat ketika disajikan dalam bentuk minuman, kopi juga bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan luluran yang memiliki banyak manfaat seperti mengangkat sel kulit mati dan mencerahkan kulit. Beras ketan juga memiliki segudang manfaat untuk perawatan kulit karena memiliki sifat Antioksidan yang dapat mempercepat produksi kolagen. Oleh karena itu dianjurkan agar rutin melakukan luluran agar kulit bisa ter-regenerasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media permainan Undercover terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas V di SDN Cawang 12. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA dan kelas VB. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes tertulis berupa soal esai sebanyak 5 soal. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Paired Samples Test diperoleh hasil thitung kelas eksperimen 17,55 sedangkan ttabel 1,72. Sedangkan, uji-t pada kelas kontrol diperoleh thitung 7,04 sedangkan ttabel 1,72. Pada kelas eksperimen maupun kontrol thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti kedua kelas menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Karena kedua kelas memiliki pengaruh, maka dilihat dari uji N-Gain, kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,60 sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,35. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa “Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media permainan Undercover terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa SD kelas V pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila”.

Abstract

Teknologi telah menghasilkan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran untuk proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran digital yang interaktif. Wordwall adalah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran serta menjadi sumber belajar interaktif yang menarik untuk siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media interaktif Wordwall untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan jenis analisis kualitatif. Studi literatur atau literatur review adalah kumpulan tindakan yang mencakup membaca, mencatat, dan mengolah materi penelitian. Penelitian literatur dilakukan dalam empat tahap: memilih topik untuk direview, mencari artikel yang cocok dan relevan dengan topik, melaksanakan analisis dan sintesis literatur, serta mengorganisasi penulisan review. Artikel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 artikel yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2022-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif Wordwall efektif sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk materi IPA di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan Wordwall dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, menciptakan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan, dan mendorong mereka untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik. Dengan bantuan Wordwall, Guru dapat melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran interaktif seperti teka-teki kata, kartu kata, silang kata dan sebagainya. Untuk membuat siswa tertarik dan tidak bosan, konsep bermain dan belajar dengan Wordwall sangat bagus untuk dipakai oleh guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and speaking skill in fifth grade elementary school students. The research used quantitative method with correlational approach. Data collection was done with a questionnaire to measure students' self-confidence and a speaking test with a type of responsive test, namely a simple question and answer test to measure students' speaking skills. The number of samples in this study were 90 students. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing in the form of correlation coefficient test. The results of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between the self confidence variable and the speaking skill variable with a correlation coefficient value of 0.408 which is included in the medium category and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that the higher the students' self-confidence, the higher the speaking skill.

Abstract

Quality learning influences students’ learning outcomes. In accordance with the demands of 21st-century education, teachers need to apply innovative learning models. This paper discusses students’ learning outcomes in natural science learning subjects by applying the Quantum Learning model for fourth-grade students at SDN Cipinang Muara 07 PG. The research design is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart model, which consists of 3 cycles that have stages for each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research data consists of process and students’ learning outcome data. Process data were obtained through observation sheets of teacher and students’ activity and learning outcome data that was obtained through tests. The research results indicate an increase in the completeness of students’ learning outcomes in each cycle. Students who completed Cycle I were only 46% and students who did not complete were 54%. In cycle II, it increased to 64% for students who completed and 36% for students who did not complete. Meanwhile, in cycle III, most of the students achieved 86% and only 14% have not achieved the result. In conclusion, there was an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle so it can be argued that the implementation of the Quantum Learning model in natural science learning subjects on plant parts learning material succeed in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Early reading is the initial level in the process of learning to read. Early reading skills play an important role in developing advanced reading skills. The study aims to determine the effect of applying the whole language approach by using picture storybooks to improve elementary students’ early reading skills in grade III. The research was conducted in Cipinang Besar Selatan. The research applied an experimental study with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data were collected using 20 multiple-choice question-item tests. Data were analyzed through normality, homogeneity, and paired sample t-test tests. The hypothesis test results indicate t = 3.162 with pvalue of 0.006. The conclusion of the research is that there is a significant positive effect of the whole language approach on third-grade elementary students’ early reading skills. Learning using the whole language approach can be used as an alternative to improving third-grade elementary students’ early reading skills. Picture storybooks make students more interested in reading and picture illustrations help students more easily understand the reading content in the learning material.

Abstract

The abundance of emerging technologies in a civilization demands the readiness of the people as human resources to be more creative in all aspects. In terms of the research objectives, the researchers would like to develop a thematic-based story illustration picture as a creativity encouragement for first-grade elementary students. The research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research sample is based on the purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 29 male students and 47 female students at the first-grade level. As a result, the average score in the pretest was 7.59. After applying to this program, it increased to 9.3 with an increase of 1.71. The minimum pretest score of 6.68 increased to 8.00, and the maximum post-test score of 8.50 initially increased to 9.8. It shows a significant increase in students' creativity. Based on the value of t-test = 9.01 with t-table (a = 0.05:110) at 1.658, there is a significant difference between the pretest and post-test scores. The research in this paper can be an appropriate innovation for the creativity program development for elementary students. It is because, in general, creativity programs are still theoretical and do not teach awareness and creative skills yet.

Abstract

This article analyzes the use of various types of pencils to develop drawing skills by using shading techniques for PGSD students of UNJ. The research in this article involves three pictures owned by three PGSD students of UNJ who have learnt the Elementary Art Education subject course. The study is aimed to make PGSD students of UNJ able to pay attention to the picture elements such as points, lines, sides, space, light and dark, colour gradations, and textures. In addition, students can use various types of pencils such as B-coded pencils consisting of 2B, 4B, and 6B in drawing with shading techniques in order to produce pictures that have an aesthetic value. The research is a qualitative descriptive study with documentation and interview methods. Through the use of various types of Bcoded pencils, students can fulfil the picture elements such as the effect of light-dark drawing objects, colour gradations with high to low saturation, and textures. The use of various types of pencils in drawing with shading techniques can be developed if students can be consistent practice scratching various types of pencils diligently. If the picture elements have not been seen in the picture object by using the shading technique yet, students could practice drawing again diligently.
