Abstract

The research presented in this article takes the concept that "Everyone is a Teacher Here" to improve students' capacity for critical thinking in the subject of science. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out with the participation of thirty-two students from SDN Sudimara Timur's level-A class for the fourth year. The data was compiled by a combination of observation, experimentation, and the keeping of written records. After that, the data from each cycle was evaluated by taking into account the percentage of successful attempts and expanding upon those successful attempts with conclusive findings. Students' capacities for critical thinking in science improved by 83% (which is extremely important) during the first cycle of the "Everyone is a Teacher" program, and the figure grew to 86% (which is very necessary) during the second cycle of the program. According to the data, it is possible to draw the conclusion that the children in fourth grade at SDN Sudimara Timur benefited from the method to teaching and learning known as "Everyone is a teacher here." As a consequence of this, the "Everyone is a teacher" method can be implemented in various lines of research to improve the variety and quality of learning that takes place in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of elementary school students so that an effective learning model is needed, one of which is the CIRC model. This research aims to explain the application of the CIRC model on students' reading comprehension skills. This research uses qualitative with PRISMA-based literature study method. The data collection technique was carried out by documenting 25 articles consisting of 10 national articles and 15 international articles, which were obtained through Google Scholar with the Publish or Perish programme. The results explained that the application of the CIRC model can encourage student activeness, understanding the content of reading, finding the main idea, and drawing conclusions. Its success is supported by the role of the teacher, active involvement of students, and appropriate learning media. However, there are some obstacles such as learning environment, emotional, and physiological factors that can be overcome with the right strategy. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model can improve the reading comprehension skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Perundungan, intoleransi, dan perilaku tidak pantas masih menjadi persoalan serius di lingkungan sekolah dasar hal ini diperkuat dengan adanya data yang menyatakan bahwa 41,1% siswa di Indonesia pernah mengalami perundungan. Kondisi ini mencerminkan kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi dan berinteraksi sosial secara sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan sikap berkebhinekaan global pada siswa kelas V di SDN Meruya Utara 03 Pagi dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional, dengan teknik simple random sampling dan angket sebagai instrumen penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan sikap berkebhinekaan global, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,42. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kecerdasan emosional sebagai landasan pembentukan sikap inklusif dan toleran pada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penggunaan AI terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan dan mengamati jurnal dan e-book yang dapat menjadi sumber yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian studi pustaka menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI dapat memberikan kontribusi positif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara. Kecerdasan Buatan dapat memberikan umpan balik yang dipersonalisasi dalam pembelajaran berbicara. Beberapa produk berbasis AI dapat mendukung pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar, seperti Duolingo, ELSA, Aplikasi ELAi, Asisten Virtual Lyra, Asisten Google, Lingokids, dan konten berbasis AI. Namun, Kecerdasan Buatan memiliki efek atau potensi negatif, seperti berkurangnya keterampilan sosial dan emosional siswa dalam berkomunikasi, ketergantungan pada teknologi yang menyebabkan siswa menjadi pembelajar pasif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kecerdasan buatan dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar dapat disebut sebagai pisau bermata dua. Di satu sisi, AI memberikan kontribusi positif dan dapat memudahkan siswa atau guru dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya bimbingan atau kontrol dalam penggunaan AI dari guru, orang tua, atau pelatih.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and speaking skill in fifth grade elementary school students. The research used quantitative method with correlational approach. Data collection was done with a questionnaire to measure students' self-confidence and a speaking test with a type of responsive test, namely a simple question and answer test to measure students' speaking skills. The number of samples in this study were 90 students. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing in the form of correlation coefficient test. The results of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between the self confidence variable and the speaking skill variable with a correlation coefficient value of 0.408 which is included in the medium category and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that the higher the students' self-confidence, the higher the speaking skill.
