Abstract

Education remains linked to human life, using experiences that provide understanding and insight to develop. Giving rewards is one of the educational tools used to improve student learning outcomes in class. The goal of the reward system is to make students more attentive and focused during lessons. Good intentions towards IPAS can encourage students to study in order to obtain good learning results. It is hoped that giving rewards can be used as a strategy to improve student learning outcomes in science courses. This research uses literature study or field work as an investigative method. The data used in this research comes from the results of analysis of several articles, journals, books and articles related to research variables. In addition, this research uses a descriptive-analytic approach to examine the relationship between the learning outcomes of science and science students in basic education and the award system through a review of previous research publications. According to this research, a consistent reward system can improve student learning outcomes in science and technology subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan monopoli terhadap minat belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain two group prestest-posttest control group design.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas IV SDN Pondok Kelapa 05 Pagi Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur sebanyak 58 siswa/i. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan hasil uji t 0,007 < 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh media permainan monopoli terhadap minat belajar IPS kelas IV di SD Kelurahan Pondok Kelapa Kecamatan Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu memberikan materi pembelajaran secara kreatif kepada peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan media bermain sebagai alat bantu edukasi seperti pemanfaatan monopoli agar mampu meningkatkan minat peserta didik dalam menerima materi pembelajaran dan mendapatkan pemahaman maksimal dari apa yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Teknologi telah menghasilkan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran untuk proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran digital yang interaktif. Wordwall adalah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran serta menjadi sumber belajar interaktif yang menarik untuk siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media interaktif Wordwall untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan jenis analisis kualitatif. Studi literatur atau literatur review adalah kumpulan tindakan yang mencakup membaca, mencatat, dan mengolah materi penelitian. Penelitian literatur dilakukan dalam empat tahap: memilih topik untuk direview, mencari artikel yang cocok dan relevan dengan topik, melaksanakan analisis dan sintesis literatur, serta mengorganisasi penulisan review. Artikel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 artikel yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2022-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif Wordwall efektif sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk materi IPA di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan Wordwall dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, menciptakan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan, dan mendorong mereka untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik. Dengan bantuan Wordwall, Guru dapat melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran interaktif seperti teka-teki kata, kartu kata, silang kata dan sebagainya. Untuk membuat siswa tertarik dan tidak bosan, konsep bermain dan belajar dengan Wordwall sangat bagus untuk dipakai oleh guru.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve science learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. This research uses experimental learning methods in class IV A SDN Empang Bahagia 1. The subjects in this study were class IV A students totaling 28 students in the 2024/2025 school year. The research was carried out using the cycle model of Kemmis and Mc. Tagart through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 64.28% and had not yet reached the specified percentage of success. In cycle II, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 85.71%. The teacher action monitoring instrument in cycle I was 87% which increased in cycle II which was 100%. The student action monitoring instrument in cycle I, 80%, increased in cycle II, 93%. The implication in this study is that the experimental learning method can be used as one of the learning methods to improve science learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school students. With the experimental method, students are able to understand the material of force well, analyze the theory of force in everyday life, actively discuss with their groups, be able to present the results of group discussions and be able to conclude learning activities that have taken place in class with direct guidance by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which fourth grade students at SDN Kebon Manggis 01 understand global diversity. The background of this research is based on the importance of instilling the value of global diversity from an early age which includes respect for differences in ethnicity, religion, race and culture. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results showed that students' understanding of global diversity is still at a basic stage and has not fully touched the aspects of attitude and application of values in everyday life. Some of the factors that influence this include a monotonous learning approach, lack of variety of learning media, and the influence of family and social environment. Therefore, a more varied, interactive and contextual learning strategy is needed to be able to instill the character of global diversity more effectively in elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of developing Bamboozle web-based interactive media on improving learning outcomes in large number material in mathematics lessons for fourth grade elementary school students. This study used the research and development (R&D) method. The research design used an experiment with a quasi-experimental approach. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the development of web-based interactive media using Bamboozle on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in the subject of large whole numbers in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Wordwall to improve mathematical counting skills among first-grade elementary school students. The research problem focuses on students’ low arithmetic abilities and the lack of engaging learning media suitable for early childhood characteristics. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments consisted of a 10-item multiple-choice test for pretest and posttest, and a student response questionnaire regarding the use of Wordwall. The sample in this study involved 20 first-grade students from SDN Tengah 07 Jakarta Timur. The media was developed using the Wordwall platform with the "Open the Box" template, presenting basic addition problems in an interactive quiz format. The results showed that the average score increased from 74.65 (pretest) to 90.45 (posttest). The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of p < 0.001, indicating a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention. The N-Gain score was 74.59%, which falls into the effective category. Additionally, students’ responses to the use of Wordwall indicated high enthusiasm and positive perceptions in terms of visual appeal, ease of use, and motivation to learn. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Wordwall media is effective in improving counting abilities in mathematics for first-grade elementary school students.
