Abstract

Penggunaan media audio visual saat pembelajaran akan mempengaruhi perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun seperti mengklasifikasikan bentuk-bentuk geometri, mengenal warna, mengetahui angka dan menunjukkan aktivitas yang bersifat eksploratif. Media audio visual adalah perantara atau penyampaian pesan pembelajaran yang mengandung komponen atau unsur visual dan suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penggunaan media audio visual di RA Bani Nurzaini, mengetahui perkembangan kognitif di RA Bani Nurzaini, dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Bani Nurzaini. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap perkembanngan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Bani Nurzaini. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan untuk pengaruh pengunaan media audio visual terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Bani Nurzaini. Dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual di RA Bani Nurzaini dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun, dikarnakan dengan media ini anak akan lebih mudah memahami karena belajar dengan menarik dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Character education for early childhood is crucial for instilling moral, religious, and social values through habituation, exemplary behavior, play, and cultural integration to develop a positive personality from an early age. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the IRCE model in systematically instilling Islamic values to shape morally upright and socially responsive young children. The research employed a quantitative correlational design, including validity and reliability tests and t-tests conducted using SmartPLS. The results indicate that the t-statistic for the IRCE–SM relationship is 24.406 with p = 0.000, far exceeding the critical t-value of 1.96, indicating a significant relationship. The very small p-value further confirms that this effect is not due to chance, demonstrating that changes in IRCE genuinely impact SM. In early childhood education, structured learning based on the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith has been shown to foster positive attitudes. Children exhibit enthusiasm for learning, emulate Hadith teachings, adhere to rules, and demonstrate honesty, politeness, and empathy. They avoid negative behaviors, show discipline, and are helpful, resulting in the strong development of Islamic character. Conclusion: The IRCE model significantly influences character development in children, enhancing learning motivation, religious attitudes, empathy, discipline, and positive behavior through the teaching of Qur’anic and Hadith values.

Abstract

One of the problems of radical movements in Islam that threatens national integrity is the radicalization among students, which leads them to systematically attack existing institutions. This phenomenon can be prevented through the application of Contextual Learning. Learning that connects religious teachings with relevant social contexts in students’ daily lives tends to produce a more moderate understanding of religion. This study aims to explore how the implementation of Contextual Learning in Islamic education impacts the ideological resilience of youth. The research employed a qualitative method with in-depth interviews of teachers and students, as well as document analysis related to the implementation of learning. The findings indicate that the application of Contextual Learning not only enhances students’ understanding of religious moderation but also strengthens their ability to think critically about radical ideologies. Significantly, this approach fosters attitudes of respecting differences, rejecting religiously motivated violence, and building students’ ideological resilience in the face of radical penetration. The main contribution of this study to the development of Islamic education is to provide empirical evidence that Contextual Learning is effective as a pedagogical strategy to reinforce religious moderation. Therefore, the development of the Islamic education curriculum needs to integrate this model so that future generations possess moderate attitudes, critical thinking skills, and readiness to face contemporary social and ideological challenges.
