Abstract

Abstract: Tauḥīd (monotheism) affirms that God has created man most excellent among the creatures with the aim to serve Him. Proof of service must be proved by maintaining the best possible environment as He wills. It will consequences which bring up the ethics that guide humans to interact with their environment. Therefore, the relationship of Tauḥīd and ethics as good and bad links or ethical character that relies heavily on clean and dirty soul and reflect the quality of faith (īmān) and Tauḥīd (monotheism) itself. This article aims to elaborate on the relationship of Tauḥīd with mindset, because mindset is a soul activity that requires imagination in many ways and requires a balance; Tauḥīd relationship with the pattern of attitudes; patterns of attitude is the basic concept of a persons behavior; relationship between Tauḥīd and behavioral patterns (amal).  Amal is a reflection of a very concrete. From this pattern can be described as follows: Tauḥīd produces ethics, and ethics produces behavior (amal). The pattern of this relationship in real life can be seen, among other things, how human beings interact with other God’s creatures (environment). Abstrak:Tauḥīd menegaskan bahwa Tuhan telah menciptakan manusia yang paling baik diantara para makhluk dengan tujuan untuk mengabdi kepada-Nya. Bukti pengabdian harus dibuktikan dengan menjaga lingkungan sebaik-baiknya sebagaimana yang dikehendaki-Nya. Konsekuensi dari ini akan memunculkan etika yang memandu manusia dalam ber­interaksi dengan lingkungannya. Sebab, hubungan Tauḥīd dan etika seperti keterkaitan baik dan buruknya akhlak atau etika yang sangat bergantung pada bersih dan  kotornya jiwa dan mencerminkan kualitas dari iman dan tauhid itu sendiri. Artikel ini bertujuan mengelaborasi hubungan Tauḥīd dengan pola pikir, karena pola pikir adalah aktivitas jiwa yang membutuhkan keseimbangan; hubungan Tauḥīd dengan pola sikap; pola sikap adalah  konsep dasar dari sebuah perilaku seseorang; hubungan antara Tauḥīd dan pola perilaku (‘amal). ‘Amal merupakan cerminan yang sangat kongkrit. Dari sini pola ini dapat digambarkan sebagai berikut: Tauḥīd menghasilkan etika, dan etika menghasilkan perilaku (‘amal). Pola hubungan ini dalam kehidupan riil dapat dilihat, antara lain, bagaimana manusia berinteraksi dengan makhluk-makhluk Tuhan yang lain (lingkungan).   Keywords: Tauḥīd, ‘amal, ethic, Ibn ‘Arabī, Allāh, enviromenment.

Abstract

Abstract: Generally in the teachings of any religion, both divine religions such as Islam, Christianity and Judaism, or earth religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism there is a polarization between religion and economic activity. So that all activities which seeking riches is viewed negatively and not in accordance with the lofty ideals of spirituality. In the teachings of Islamic religion there is also tendency that sees economic activity as an activity that is in appropriate for a religious. By using content analysis, the studies illustrate that everyone can make his profession as a path to God. Provided that each profession held by Islamic guidance, according to the Quran and the Hadith. Abstrak: Dalam ajaran keagamaan secara umum, baik agama-agama samawi seperti Islam, Kristen dan Yahudi, maupun agama bumi seperti Hindu, Buddha dan lain sebagainya terdapat anti-nomi antara agama dan kegiatan ekonomi. Sehingga seluruh kegiatan yang mencari kekayaan dipandang negatif dan tidak sesuai dengan cita-cita luhur spiritualitas. Dalam ajaran Agama Islam juga terdapat tendensi yang cukup kuat yang memandang kegiatan ekonomi sebagai aktifitas yang tidak pantas bagi manusia yang taat beragama. Dengan menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis), setudi ini menggambarkan bahwa, setiap orang bisa menjadikan profesinya sebagi jalan menuju kepada Allah. Asalkan setiap apa yang menjadi aktifitas keseharianya dilaksanakan berdasarkan tuntunan Islam, sesuai dengan al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi Muhammad. Keywords: profesi, wirid, al-Quran, hadis, tarekat.

Abstract

As a universal religion, Islam regulates all aspects of life. As one of aspects in Islam, tasawwuf/Sufism invites people to be guardians for environmental preservation since nature is part of God’s creatures. To some extent, the teachings of Sufism are mainly about ethic (adab). This ethic can be either vertical to God or horizontal to all God’s creatures including nature and environment. Ibn Arabi in this regard is an influential character in Sufism which his thoughts gave a lot of influence on the development of the world of Sufism in General. Among his thoughts is about the unity of God with the universe. The question is, how Ibn Arabi’s thought could give an impact in the context of the preservation of the environment. This research finds amd formulates some aspect of Sufism that can contribute to encourage people in dealing with environmental preservation. It is based on attitude or akhlak theologically.

Abstract

As a great figure, Ibn ‘Arabi’s thoughts greatly influenced the Sufis who came after him. In fact, some researchers in the field of Sufism say that there are new characteristics that have emerged in the history of Sufism after Ibn ‘Arabi, namely philosophical Sufism. The same influence can also be found in the tradition of Sufism thought on Ottoman, one of them is Üftade. In his work entitled Vâkıât, Üftade mentions Ibn ‘Arabi’s name more than 40 times in various topics of discussion. For example, Üftade claimed that he had met Ibn ‘Arabi several times in his dreams, Ibn ‘Arabi’s level of wilāyah and so on. By using the content analysis method, this paper tried to see how the Üftade’s view of Ibn ‘Arabi’s thoughts actually was, his works and his level of wilāyah among other Sufi figures.

Abstract

Sebagai sebuah disiplin ilmu dalam Islam tasawuf seharusnya berkiblat pada dua sumber utama, yaitu al-Qur’an dan hadis. Tradisi ini pada dasarnya telah berlangsung lama sejak lahirnya tasawuf. Hal ini ditandai dengan munculnya ulama-ulama dalam tasawuf yang merupakan periwayat hadis. Namun pada perjalanannya, ulama tasawuf banyak sekali mengabaikan faktor kesahihan sebuah hadis yang mereka jadikan sebagai bahan dakwah dan pedoman ibadahnya. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menguak sebuah tradisi yang menarik antara tasawuf dan hadis di masa akhir kekaisaran Ottoman. Untuk membatasi periode supaya tidak melebar, pembahasan hanya akan berfokus pada abad 19 dan pada satu tokoh, Ahmad Ziyauddin Gumushanevi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis dan metode deskriptif analitis, hasil kajian menyimpulkan bahwa Gumushanevi merupakan ulama tasawuf yang punya konsen terhadap kajian hadis. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan aktifitasnya dalam menulis karya seperti kumpulan hadis, syarah, dan kumpulan hadis arba’in yang menjadi trend ulama sebelumnya. Selain itu, Gumushanevi juga mempunyai kontribusi yang sangat besar terhadap keberlangsungan studi hadis di tengah masyarakat Ottoman melalui karya dan murid-muridnya. [Ahmad Ziyauddin Gumushanevi and the Tradition of Hadith Study in Tekke 19th Century Turkey. As an Islamic science discipline, Sufism must be oriented towards two main sources, the Qur'an and hadith. In fact, this tradition has been going on for a long time since the birth of Sufism. This is correlated with the scales of the scholars in Sufism who are the narrators of hadith. However, on their journey, Sufism scholars neglect the validity of a hadith which they use as material for their new preaching and worship. This paper aims to uncover an interesting tradition between Sufism and hadith at the end of the Ottoman Empire. In order to cope with the non-widened period, the discussion will only focus on the 19th century and on one character, Ahmad Ziyauddin Gumushanevi. By using a historical approach and analytical descriptive method, the results of the study conclude that Gumushanevi is a Sufism scholar who has a concern about hadith studies. This is evidenced by his activities in writing works such as a collection of hadiths, sharhs, and collections of hadith arba’in which became the trend of previous scholars. In addition, Gumushanevi also had a very large contribution to the continuity of the study of hadith in Ottoman society through his works and students.]

Abstract

Many theories have been proposed to discuss Sufism in terms of its linguistic origins and its role in spiritual knowledge, its concepts and ideas, and cultural influences. Both Muslim and orientalist scholars have offered opposing views on the beginnings of Sufism. Unfortunately, Western orientalists were the first to research this topic, and their ideas greatly influenced later scholars. This study examines how early British orientalists, particularly Sir William Jones, approached the study of Sufism. Jones represents the early development of British orientalism, which started in the form of personal travel accounts long before orientalist societies were established to support them. Only the later ‘experts on the Orient’ created scholarly circles that followed a more objective and systematic approach to studying Muslim cultures, yet often persisted in the erroneous claim that Sufism was an external and foreign element in Islamic culture.

Abstract

This paper attempted to discover the authenticity of interpretation work ordinated to Abdul Qodir Jailani. This interpretation Sufism was published by two different publishers from two separate countries; Dar alKutub al-Ilmiyah located in Beirut, Lebanon and Markaz al-Jailani li al-Buhus al-Ilmiyah in Istanbul, Turkey. This research is conducted from incredulity of ordination validity towards that interpretation work (Tafsir). By reason that the script was similar to another spread-script whose title is Fawatih al-Ilahiyah authored by Baba Ni’matullah Najwani. By comparison to two versions of Tafsir al-Jailani and one version of al-Fawatih al-Ilahiyah, this research comes to conclusion that this Tafsir (Tafsir al-Jailani) is inscription of Baba Ni’matullah Najwani, not Abdul Qodir al-Jailani. This conclusion goes against to three points; first, the name in book cover is not compatible with the name in introduction as the author had conveyed it in this Tafsir’s introduction; Second, the Author discussed many topics about Wahdat alWujud, a Sufism terminology acknowledged by Ibn Arabi who lived after Abdul Kodir al-Jailani. Third; many terms engaged in this Tafsir have not turned out into Tasawwuf Scholars discourse in Abdul Qodir Jailani’s period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media digital dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui pendekatan studi pustaka. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi, media digital telah menjadi alat yang potensial untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, khususnya dalam menyampaikan materi agama secara interaktif dan menarik. Studi ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan media digital dalam PAI memberikan berbagai manfaat, seperti peningkatan aksesibilitas, interaktivitas, dan motivasi belajar. Namun, tantangan seperti literasi digital yang rendah dan keterbatasan infrastruktur di beberapa wilayah menghambat optimalisasi penerapan teknologi ini. Selain itu, literasi digital bagi guru dan peserta didik menjadi isu penting yang perlu ditangani. Meskipun begitu, potensi pengembangan penggunaan media digital dalam PAI sangat besar, terutama dengan teknologi baru seperti augmented reality (AR) dan virtual reality (VR), yang dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Kesimpulannya, media digital dapat menjadi alat yang sangat efektif dalam pengajaran PAI jika tantangan yang ada dapat diatasi dan didukung oleh kebijakan yang sesuai.
