Abstract

Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou is a philosophy of the Minahasa people, meaning that humans live to humanize others. The term "tou" in Si Tou refers to humans as individuals who must first 'live' to be able to enliven others ('tumou tou'). Meanwhile, Mapalus house represents a local wisdom model in the form of collaborative efforts to build houses for the Tounsawang ethnic community in Southeast Minahasa, passed down through generations. Mapalus house consists of 10 to 30 people, and anyone can become a member, regardless of gender. The division of labor, based on the principle of togetherness in mutual construction and enlivening, known as Sitou Timou Tumou Tou, is carried out reciprocally for each house to be built, where the roles of women and men are equal in work responsibilities. The main research question is how Sitou Timou Tumou Tou holds meaning for women in the Mapalus House work, empowering themselves individually and others. The research was conducted in the Tombatu district, Southeast Minahasa Regency, known for its strong Mapalus house tradition, with three villages as research samples: Tombatu 1, Tombatu II, and Betelen. The qualitative method employed focused on observation, interviews, key informants, and analysis of observation and interviews. The research results indicate that the meaning of Si tou timou tumou tou is deeply rooted in women, allowing them to persist in Mapalus house. The understanding of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou empowers women individually, socially, and economically within Mapalus house. This empowerment is attributed to principles such as mutual enlivening, starting with the term 'tou,' signifying individual empowerment before extending to others. Mapalus house provides space and access for women to develop themselves individually in both domestic and public functions. A communal organizational culture is built within Mapalus house, fostering mutual assistance between women and men without subordination and patriarchy. Despite modernization and technological advancements, the meaning of 'tou' in Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou as local wisdom remains strong, upheld as tradition and respected by the entire Tounsawang ethnic community. Consequently, the meaning of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou is powerful within women individually, enabling them in both family (domestic) and community (public) contexts.

Abstract

Aparatur sipil negara (ASN) memiliki peran sentral dan penting dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan daerah. Demikian halnya ASN yang ada di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa. Sehubungan dengan itu maka upaya peningkatan kinerja ASN merupakan isu yang terus menggema. Namun realitas dan fakta belum dapat memenuhi harapan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengawasan terhadap efektivitas kerja ASN Di lingkungan Kantor Camat Tondano Barat Kabupaten Minahasa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa pengawasan berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kerja aparatur di lingkungan Kantor Kecamatan Tondano Barat Kabupaten Minahasa. Analisis regresi sederhana yaitu : Y = 21.491 + 0.285 X. Persamaan regresi ini menyatakan bahwa setiap perubahan nilai efektivitas kerja ditentukan oleh perubahan nilai pengawasan. Artinya, apabila nilai pengawasan bertambah satu unit maka akan diikuti dengan bertambahnya nilai efektivitas kerja sebesar 0,285 satuan. Selanjutnya nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,460. Ini berarti terdapat hubungan antara variabel pengawasan dan variabel efektivitas kerja aparatur. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,212 (21,20%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengawasan berpengaruh sebesar 21,20% terhadap efektivitas kerja aparatur di lingkungan Kantor Kecamatan Tondano Barat Kabupaten Minahasa. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung = 2,978 > ttabel = 2,358. Ini berarti bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang telah dirumuskan dapat diterima karena nilai thitung jauh lebih besar dari nilai ttabel.

Abstract

Women's empowerment in local culture is able to provide opportunities for women in their roles in domestic and public areas which also have an impact on the sustainable family and community economy. This women's empowerment is able to raise the degree of women to stand on an equal footing and partner with men in equality to jointly engage in the role of sustainable family and community economic development. This study aims to identify how the management of women's empowerment in the Mapalus rumah culture through its role in decision making. This research was conducted in Tombatu village, Southeast Minahasa with 10 female informants and analyzed using descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. This research proves that women's empowerment in local culture is able to provide opportunities for women's empowerment in their roles in domestic and public areas which also have an impact on the sustainable family and community economy. In a deep understanding, providing time, space and opportunities for women's empowerment is able to raise the status of women to stand on an equal footing and partner with men in equality to jointly engage in the role of sustainable family and community economic development. This research places its superiority on the ability to make a change in the community paradigm about the important role of women in family economic development through home Mapalus. Thus this research provides a sustainable contribution in efforts to seek and find, build and develop forms of women's empowerment management in various fields.

Abstract

Perubahan sosial yang terjadi dewasa ini akibat perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berdampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan industri perbankan nasional. Penataan dan pengembangan karyawan menjadi entry point bagi eksisnya institusi perbankan dewasa ini. Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menkaji hubungan antara upaya pengembangan karyawan dan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh PT. Bank SULUTGO Cabang Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, maka diperoleh hasil nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,7355 dan nilai determinasi (r2) = 0,5409 (0,54) atau 54%. Dengan demikian derajat korelasi hubungan antara variabel strategi pengembangan sumberdaya karyawan dan variabel kualitas pelayanan adalah positif dengan daya penentu 54%. Nilai statistik t = 7,827 jika diambil taraf uji a = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) 52 maka dari daftar distribusi t-kritik didapat t0,01(0152) = 1,684. Dengan demikian Ho ditolak, dan menerima Ha, ini berarti bahwa derajat korelasi antar variabel pengembangan karyawan perusahaan dengan variabel kualitas pelayanan adalah sangat signifikan atau sangat nyata yaitu pada taraf signifikan 0,05.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan pemuda merupakan suatu proses yang penting untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang mandiri, memiliki kemampuan, dan dapat berperan aktif dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Tetapi kenyataannya pemuda sering kali menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti tingginya tingkat pengangguran, keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber daya, serta persaingan yang ketat di pasar kerja. Oleh karena itu pemberdayaan komunitas pemuda menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam membangun ekonomi masyarakat yang berkelanjutan. Melihat permasalahan ini, maka tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari STIE Pioner Manado merasa perlu untuk memberikan pembekalan melalui pembinaan dan bimbingan secara komprehensif kepada pemuda di PKBM Papa Lagar di kota Bitung sehingga memungkinkan komunitas pemuda dapat memberdayakan dirinya dan komunitasnya sekaligus mengetahui apa saja yang dapat menjadi kompetensi sumber daya manusia yang dapat diberdayakan. Kami memberikan pembinaan, bimbingan dan penyuluhan dalam bentuk materi ceramah dan diskusi tanya jawab yang terdiri dari empat (4) sesi, yaitu: 1. Pemberdayaan Melalui Pendidikan Formal dan Informal. 2. Pemberdayaan melalui Pengembangan Kewirausahaan Sosial. 3. Pemberdayaan melalui Pendidikan Keberlanjutan. 4. Pemberdayaan Pelatihan Keterampilan Teknis dan Vokasional. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan teori pemberdayaan dan pembangunan berkelanjutan, maka diharapkan dapat membangun image dan pola pikir pemuda untuk mampu memanfaatkan setiap potensi sumber daya manusia dan peluang positif dalam memberdayakan diri dan komunitasnya.

Abstract

Compensation and motivation are two important factors in the organization of a company. High attention to both of these is expected to have an impact on increasing employee performance in providing services to consumers. However, from the results of observations, it appears that there are still employees who are still lacking in motivation in providing services to consumers: 1) Employees at Freshmart Bahu Mall Manado have not become professional human resources in providing services to consumers; 2) There are still employees who have low motivation. This study aims to 1) determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at Freshmart Bahu Mall Manado. 2) to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance at Freshmart Bahu Mall Manado, 3) to determine the effect of compensation and motivation together on employee performance at Freshmart Bahu Mall Manado. This study uses a correlational method. The data analysis conducted provides the following conclusions: 1) Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at Fresh Mart Bahu Mall Manado, 2) Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Fresh Mart Bahu Mall Manado, 3) Simultaneously, both compensation and motivation have an effect on employee performance at Fresh Mart Bahu Mall Manado.

Abstract

Kearifan Kearifan lokal Mapalus di Minahasa merepresentasikan sistem sosial-ekonomi berbasis gotong royong yang telah lama menjadi ciri budaya masyarakat setempat. Meskipun berbagai studi sebelumnya telah membahas Mapalus sebagai bentuk solidaritas sosial, masih terdapat celah penelitian terkait bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut diartikulasikan dalam konteks kepemimpinan partisipatif dan etos kerja kolektif sebagai identitas manajemen komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kepemimpinan partisipatif dan etos kerja kolektif berfungsi sebagai identitas manajemen dalam budaya Mapalus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi, melibatkan 15 informan kunci yang terdiri atas tokoh adat, kepala jaga, dan anggota kelompok Mapalus di tiga desa di Kabupaten Minahasa. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan selama tiga bulan, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap arsip dan naskah budaya lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dalam Mapalus bersifat partisipatif dan egaliter, menekankan musyawarah, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab bersama dalam pembagian tugas. Mekanisme kontrol sosial dijalankan melalui norma adat dan nilai resiprositas moral yang memperkuat disiplin kolektif. Etos kerja kolektif yang terbentuk mencerminkan identitas manajemen khas Minahasa, yaitu bekerja sebagai ibadah sosial, solidaritas sebagai modal utama, dan keadilan sebagai bentuk timbal balik moral. Temuan ini memperluas pemahaman tentang manajemen berbasis budaya dengan menunjukkan bahwa Mapalus tidak hanya berperan dalam aktivitas ekonomi, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sistem manajemen sosial yang memperkuat kohesi komunitas dan ketahanan budaya. Penelitian ini membuka ruang bagi pengembangan model manajemen partisipatif berbasis kearifan lokal dalam konteks pembangunan masyarakat Indonesia. Participatory Leadership and Collective Work Ethic: Management Identity in the Mapalus Tradition of Minahasa   Abstract The local wisdom of Mapalus in Minahasa represents a socio-economic system based on mutual cooperation, which has long been a defining feature of the local community’s culture. Although previous studies have discussed Mapalus as a form of social solidarity, there remains a research gap concerning how these values are articulated within the context of participatory leadership and collective work ethic as a form of community management identity. This study aims to analyze how participatory leadership and collective work ethic function as management identities within the Mapalus culture. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach, involving 15 key informants consisting of traditional leaders, neighborhood heads (kepala jaga), and members of Mapalus groups across three villages in Minahasa Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation conducted over three months, and documentation studies of local cultural archives and manuscripts. The results show that leadership within Mapalus is participatory and egalitarian, emphasizing deliberation, fairness, and shared responsibility in task distribution. Social control mechanisms are maintained through customary norms and moral reciprocity values that reinforce collective discipline. The collective work ethic that emerges reflects a distinctive Minahasan management identity—working as a form of social devotion, solidarity as the main capital, and justice as a manifestation of moral reciprocity. These findings expand the understanding of culture-based management by demonstrating that Mapalus not only functions in economic activities but also serves as a social management system that strengthens community cohesion and cultural resilience. The study opens opportunities for developing participatory management models grounded in local wisdom within the context of Indonesian community development.
