Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively examine the alignment between Muhammadiyah's Manhaj Tarjih logic and mathematical thinking, alongside its implications for education, humanization, and enlightenment dawah. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, data were gathered from primary sources, including official organizational documents, educational philosophy literature, and relevant national and international scientific journals. The analysis was conducted using inductive and reflective content and thematic analysis to achieve a holistic understanding. The findings reveal a robust epistemological alignment between Manhaj Tarjih logic and mathematical reasoning, particularly regarding rationality, systematic structure, and consistency. Furthermore, mathematics education serves a strategic role in integrating Muhammadiyah’s scientific mission, fostering humanistic awareness, and internalizing Islamic values into pedagogical practices. This study concludes that mathematics is an essential medium for developing progressive Islamic education that is critical, rational, and welfare-oriented. Ultimately, this synergy strengthens the enlightenment dawah movement, ensuring it remains adaptive to modern scientific dynamics while staying firmly rooted in humanistic principles and religious values.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the zakat material of class V of SD Negeri Pleret Kidul, where 73% of students have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). These problems are caused by conventional learning and the lack of use of interactive media. This research aims to develop Smart Box Zakat learning media that is suitable for use in learning. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model. The Define stage includes an analysis of students' needs, characteristics, and materials. The Design stage includes media design and instrument preparation. The Develop stage is carried out through product creation and validation by media, material, and language experts. The Disseminate stage is carried out on a limited basis to PAI teachers throughout Kapanewon Panjatan. The research instruments were in the form of validation questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires. The data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the media obtained a feasibility percentage above 90% with a very feasible category, and received a very good response from teachers. Thus, Zakat Smart Box Media is suitable for use as a learning medium for zakat materials for grade V elementary school.

Abstract

The development of social media or information media also has two sides that affect to each other positive or negative. Behavior that depends on social media needs, to forget the creator where these actions are included as a culture of shirk in seeing the sophistication of social media. The efforts of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) in higher education can provide innovative solutions in overcoming the cultures of shirk towards social media culture that has become a sense of addiction to the sophistication of social media. This research uses literature study research, where the process of collecting data from books or journal articles that are in accordance with the subject of research, namely about Islamic anthropology in AIK to prevent shirk culture in social media. The result of this study is that AIK can prevent the culture of shirk in social media by increasing the hours of faith courses. This is so that students are able to choose and filter what content can make themselves better in their religious knowledge so that they can stay away from content that contains shirk. In addition, there is an information fiqh course, so that students know the Islamic view of social media, are able to use social media wisely in accordance with Islamic views, students are able to filter incoming information and students’ tabayyun incoming information and are able to disseminate good information that does not contain shirk.

Abstract

The 21st-century digital revolution demands a global educational transformation; however, the evaluation practices of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary school level are still dominated by conventional, monotonous, and less interactive paper-based methods. This leads to low learning motivation and slow feedback for students, while teachers face difficulties in managing evaluation data efficiently. Although technological infrastructure such as Chromebooks is available at SDN 2 Bubakan Wonogiri, the utilization of specific digital supporting media for PAI materials remains limited and has not been optimally integrated with pedagogical needs. This study aims to analyze the implementation process, usability, and constraints of using an interactive digital PAI question bank product from the perspective of users (teachers and students) at SD Negeri 2 Bubakan, Wonogiri. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through structured non-participant observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews with the principal, PAI teacher, and students, and product documentation. The results indicate that: (1) The implementation of the digital question bank runs smoothly supported by Chromebook facilities and achieves high material validity aligned with the Kurikulum Merdeka. The product shows good usability with an intuitive interface for elementary students, and successfully runs a formative evaluation function through instant feedback features that reduce student boredom. (2) The constraints faced include full dependency on internet network stability and a lack of question depth, where most items are still textual, focusing on lower-order thinking skills (LOTS) and memorization, thus not yet optimizing affective diagnostic tools to map the internalization of religious values deeply.
