Abstract

One of the most discussed topics in today’s society is the issue of widows’ proper rights and status. This research paper investigates the rights and status of widows within the framework of Islamic education in the context of Bangladesh using qualitative methods. It included the Qur’an, Hadith, and various forms of research.  Islam has given them a detailed discussion of their rights and dignity just like any other woman. Widows often face unique challenges and social stigmatization in various societies, and this study focuses on understanding their rights and status as prescribed by Islamic teachings and the extent to which these teachings are implemented within the realm of Islamic education. Bangladesh government has fixed some allowance for them which is very little. No steps have been taken to increase employment to make them economically prosperous. This paper contributes to the ongoing discourse on women’s rights within an Islamic context and highlights the significance of integrating such discussions within the education system for tangible societal transformation.

Abstract

This article evaluates the doctrinal challenges encountered by the law amid technological advancements, specifically in the areas of blockchain technology, smart contracts, digital assets, and data privacy. Certain conventional legal doctrines, including intellectual property law, privacy, and evidence, and the principle of nonrefoulement, may no longer be applicable amidst the introduction of disruptive technological developments. We present methods for identifying irrelevant legal issues using the TRIZ approach, which enables the identification, evaluation, and updating of legal doctrine. Additionally, this article illustrates how TRIZ principles can develop more adaptable contract principles in response to technologies such as smart contracts. By applying these principles, the law can more effectively manage change, promote innovation in consumer protection, and support the use of smart contracts.

Abstract

This study investigates the concept of labour dignity in Islamic ethical teachings, focusing on how foundational Islamic texts conceptualize the rights and responsibilities of workers and employers. While numerous studies address Islamic economic principles or general labour rights, few have examined labour dignity specifically through an ethical lens that integrates both classical sources and contemporary applications. This research aims to fill that gap by systematically analyzing how Islamic principles—drawn from the Qur'an, Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence—can inform modern work ethics and labour practices. The study adopts a qualitative content analysis approach, using targeted keywords such as Islamic labour ethics, the dignity of work in Islam, and social justice in Islamic thought to review relevant primary and secondary literature. The findings indicate that Islam upholds labour dignity through core values such as fair compensation, mutual respect, social responsibility, and anti-exploitation norms. Workers are regarded not merely as economic agents but as participants in spiritual and communal growth, while employers are ethically obligated to ensure just treatment. The study contributes to Islamic labour ethics scholarship by bridging religious doctrines with contemporary socio-economic discourse, offering theoretical insight and practical recommendations for promoting equity and justice in diverse labour environments.
