Abstract

Abstract

The development of community makes human resource management in the company also needs to consider changing work rhythms. Nowadays, many companies use external human resources to complete work in the company. Therefore, an external human resource management strategy is needed that suits the company's needs. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 makes human resource management more about cross-generational competency-based management with a more integrated system. Information systems are one of the most widely used technologies in computer science and communication networks in companies' development of computing systems. information system as a primary computing system that needs to be owned by a company in order to optimize the company's business processes. This optimization also includes managing the company's internal and external human resources. This research focused on the development of human resource management systems. Therefore, this system is called the VRMS system. The VRMS system was developed using a hybrid agile method using the concept of Prisma ORM with NestJs. This research succeeded in building a VRMS system with a performance level of 100%.

Abstract

Human resource management is one of the critical factors for a company in order to realize the company's vision, mission, and goals. This requires effective and efficient human resource management by integrating the entire management process well. This is to manage the company's internal and external human resources. VRMS is an integrated application that can manage the company's external resources. VRMS is built based on dependency injection. VRMS has two superior features: role-based access control (RBCA) and record log. RBCA is a feature that manages all resources involved in a company project. At the same time, the record log allows super admins to monitor and evaluate the performance of all external company resources. The VRMS system is built using hybrid methodoly in software development life cycles from initiation phase, planning, execution, and testing. The testing process used in this system is the user acceptance test (UAT) method. The test results show that all features on VRMS can run 80% well.

Abstract

Using fossil fuels contributes to carbon dioxide and methane emissions that increasingly damage nature. Innovations in renewable energy that are more environmentally friendly with good energy supply chain management need to be implemented immediately. Indonesia is an archipelagic country with an imbalance in energy sufficiency figures in several regions, including Balikukup village in East Kalimantan. This condition hinders people's daily activities and is a significant obstacle to business activities. This research was conducted to design a zero-carbon renewable hybrid energy innovation that can preserve the environment and improve the community's economy using solar energy and coconut shells. The design was simulated using the HOMER application to find out how much potential and electricity the residents of Balikukup village would get. This study obtained a system configuration scenario: the marine product drying machine, which has a total production of 4,106 kWh/yr. This machine requires a PV capacity of 7,627 kW/yr, 18 batteries, and an inverter capacity of 1.62 kW. In addition, coconut shell briquettes can also optimize the marine product drying machine where 100 - 150 kg of coconut shell waste can increase the drying temperature to 60° - 70° C in a faster time of around 3 - 4 hours to reduce the weight of marine products from 5 - 8 kg to 1 - ½ kg.

Abstract

Abstract:  Technology can optimize the company management process by helping related parties provide the necessary considerations. Company X, one of the state-owned companies in Surakarta, found obstacles in the new employee recruitment process, such as long selection times, high operational costs, and concerns about fraud and bias that occurred during the selection process. Therefore, this study was conducted to design a new employee recruitment system at Company X to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency during the recruitment process. The system was designed by implementing the Agile Scrum method using Laravel. The test results showed that the development process could be completed in 80 effective working days with minimal errors. The test results showed that all components could interact with each other so that data exchange could run well according to needs.

Abstract

Selecting a university major is a crucial decision that impacts students' future career paths and personal fulfillment. Traditional guidance methods often lack the personalization and timeliness needed to support students effectively. This study explores the use of Indonesian generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots and transformer embeddings to enhance decision-making for university major selection. By leveraging advanced AI techniques, such as bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) and Gemini embeddings, the research aims to provide personalized, interactive, and contextually relevant guidance. Experiments showed that BERT embeddings achieved the highest accuracy, with recurrent neural network (RNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) models also performing well but facing issues with overfitting. Gemini embeddings provided strong performance but slightly less effective than BERT. The findings suggest that BERT-based models with RNN are superior for developing decision-support systems in 92% accuracy. Future work should focus on further optimization and integration of user feedback to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of these AI tools in educational settings.
