Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk menganalisis tingkat kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dan Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey, oleh karenanya dalam pemecahan masalah atau dalam upaya menjawab setiap pertanyaan penelitian digunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data adalah atasan sampai tenaga honorer sebagai responden. Dalam hal ini, pengukuran kinerja masing-masing peneliti dengan menggunakan indikator pengukuran yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini. Demikian pula untuk melihat tingkat kapasitas dan motivasi kerja pegawai yang mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja pegawai kantor Inspektorat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, digunakan pula teknik tersebut dengan memperhatikan jenis dan sumber data serta jenis dan jumlah alternatif jawaban yang ada dalam setiap pertanyaan. Selanjutnya, pengukuran tersebut dirujukan pada skala pengukuran/ penilaian kinerja yang berpedoman pada pola Tim Asistensi Pelaporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintahan (AKIP), dengan interval nilai persentase. Kinerja pegawai di kantor Inspektorat menunjukkan hasil yang baik dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas Pemerintahan dan Pembangunan, Motivasi kerja pegawai dapat dikatakan "sangat baik" yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi kerja pegawai pada masa-masa akan datang tetap dipertahankan sebagai wujud tanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas kemasyarakatan dan pembangunan di Sulawesi Selatan.Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada kantor Inspektorat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yaitu : Kurangnya pengetahuan pegawai, Kurangnya keterampilan pegawai, Kurangnya motivasi, Kurangnya keyakinan diri pegawai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pelatihan guna meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan di Politeknik LP3I Makassar. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan tuntutan kualitas kerja yang semakin tinggi, karyawan dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan mereka. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan kompetensi, terutama dalam bidang teknologi informasi, manajerial, dan soft skills. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dosen dan staf administrasi yang memiliki peran penting dalam operasional institusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan membutuhkan pelatihan dalam tiga area utama: teknologi informasi, manajerial, dan soft skills. Pelatihan teknologi informasi diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penggunaan perangkat lunak dan platform pembelajaran daring. Pelatihan manajerial dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia. Sementara itu, pelatihan soft skills diperlukan untuk memperbaiki komunikasi dan kerja sama tim. Kesimpulannya, program pelatihan yang berbasis pada kebutuhan kompetensi karyawan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan motivasi kerja, meskipun implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala anggaran dan waktu. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi Politeknik LP3I Makassar untuk merancang program pelatihan yang lebih terstruktur dan relevan dengan kebutuhan spesifik karyawan.

Abstract

Educational policy plays a fundamental role in shaping the direction and effectiveness of curriculum reform, particularly in rapidly transforming nations such as Indonesia. This literature review explores the evolution of educational policy in Indonesia and its implications for curriculum development, focusing on decentralization, stakeholder involvement, and the integration of digital technology. Drawing upon studies from 2020 to 2025, this review identifies key challenges such as inequality of access, fragmented policy implementation, and insufficient training for educators. It also highlights the influence of globalization, neoliberal ideologies, and socio-cultural diversity. The study emphasizes the need for inclusive, adaptive, and context-sensitive policies that account for regional disparities and the importance of vocational education and technological innovation in preparing future-ready learners. Recommendations include strengthening stakeholder engagement, adopting localized curriculum approaches, investing in teacher capacity-building, and ensuring policy coherence across governance levels. This comprehensive synthesis offers insights for policymakers, educators, and researchers working toward equitable and transformative educational reform.

Abstract

Politeknik LP3I Makassar sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan vokasi memiliki tantangan dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan minat calon mahasiswa baru. Di era persaingan yang ketat, branding dan strategi promosi yang efektif menjadi faktor krusial dalam menarik perhatian generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran branding dan promosi dalam meningkatkan daya tarik Politeknik LP3I Makassar sebagai pilihan pendidikan vokasi. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen promosi institusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan citra positif melalui media sosial, testimoni alumni, dan kegiatan edufair berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan jumlah pendaftar. Faktor lain yang turut mendukung adalah kolaborasi dengan dunia industri dan program pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan pasar kerja. Branding yang konsisten dengan menonjolkan keunggulan program studi dan prospek karir lulusan menjadi daya tarik utama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa branding yang kuat dan strategi promosi yang terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan daya saing Politeknik LP3I Makassar dalam menarik calon mahasiswa baru. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi optimalisasi platform digital dan peningkatan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk memperluas jangkauan promosi.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education plays an important role in shaping the mindset and increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze the role of entrepreneurship education in increasing entrepreneurial interest among students and identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in one of the universities in Indonesia. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that practice-based entrepreneurship education, such as business simulations, mentoring, and incubation programs, has a positive impact on increasing students' interest and readiness to start a business. The main supporting factors include institutional support, access to business mentors, and start-up funding facilities, while inhibiting factors include limited practical experience, lack of business networks, and limited access to capital. Therefore, universities are advised to strengthen experiential learning methods and increase collaboration with the business world to create a more conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is inseparable from the role of teachers as the main implementers of the learning process. Optimal teacher performance is influenced by various factors, including the principal's leadership, work discipline, and teacher commitment. This study aims to reveal how these three factors contribute to improving teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were the principal and teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. The results of the study showed that school principals applied a participatory and communicative leadership style, thereby creating a conducive work environment and motivating teachers to work better. Teachers' work discipline can be seen from compliance with schedules, teaching readiness, and the implementation of orderly learning administration. Teachers' commitment is also high, reflected in their involvement in school activities and the enthusiasm for participating in professional training. These three factors support each other and significantly contribute to improving teacher performance. Thus, collaboration between the principal's leadership, discipline, and work commitment is an important foundation in creating a quality education system.

Abstract

Purpose-This study aims to explore how managing educational facilities and infrastructure helps improve the quality of education at MAN Jeneponto. Proper management is important because it affects the learning process and the achievement of educational goals. Research Methodology / Design / Approach- The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with the Principal, Deputy Head of Facilities and Infrastructure, and teachers, as well as related documents. The data were analyzed by reducing information, organizing it systematically, and drawing conclusions based on the findings. Findings-This study found that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MAN Jeneponto follows proper procedures, including planning, procurement, distribution, asset inventory, maintenance, and disposal of unusable items. The school’s education quality is considered very good based on eight national education standards. However, limited funding is a major challenge in managing facilities and infrastructure. Originality and Value-This study highlights the importance of managing infrastructure as a key factor in improving education quality at state religious high schools like MAN Jeneponto. The findings can guide other institutions to better manage their physical resources to support teaching and learning, even with budget limitations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the government in the implementation of MSME empowerment programs in Makassar City, with a focus on access to capital and training. MSMEs have an important role in the regional economy, but they still face various challenges, especially in obtaining financing and increasing business capacity. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews with MSME actors, government representatives, and financial institutions, and was strengthened by observation and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the Makassar City government has provided various capital access programs, such as People's Business Credit (KUR) and revolving capital assistance, which help MSMEs in business development. However, there are still obstacles in the complex administrative process, requirements that are difficult to meet, and lack of socialization. In terms of training, the program has improved the skills of MSME actors, especially in digital marketing and product innovation. Nevertheless, the sustainability of the program and post-training mentoring are still a major challenge. The novelty of this research lies in an in-depth analysis of the synergy between the government, financial institutions, and the business community in empowering MSMEs. The implication is that the government needs to simplify capital access procedures, increase the effectiveness of training through a technology-based approach, and strengthen mentoring programs for MSMEs. This research contributes to the development of more inclusive and sustainable policies to support the growth of MSMEs in Makassar City.

Abstract

Motor vehicle theft is a form of crime that often occurs in urban areas and has a direct impact on people's sense of security. In the jurisdiction of the Biringkanaya Police Station of Makassar City, the rampant cases of motor vehicle theft have raised concerns and formed a negative public perception of the existing security system. This study aims to describe and analyze public perception of the level of environmental safety and the factors that affect it. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of local residents who are directly or indirectly affected by the case of motor vehicle theft. The results of the study show that the majority of people feel worried and lack confidence in the effectiveness of environmental security, both from the police and citizens' initiatives. The lack of police patrols, the inactivity of patrol posts, and weak solidarity and social participation are the main factors that reinforce these negative perceptions. The novelty of this study lies in the emphasis on the subjective perception of the public as a key indicator in the evaluation of environmental security. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a community policing approach as well as strengthening citizen involvement in community-based security systems to create a more sustainable sense of security.

Abstract

Teachers' work discipline is one of the key factors that affect the effectiveness of the learning process in schools. However, challenges such as lack of supervision, low motivation, and poor time management often hinder the achievement of optimal work discipline. This study aims to analyze the role of school principal leadership in improving teacher work discipline at Makassar National High School. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study include school principals, teachers, and school staff. The results of the study show that the leadership of school principals plays a significant role through the implementation of directed supervision strategies, continuous motivation, and consistent rule enforcement. The principal also demonstrates the ability to build effective communication and set an example of discipline. As a result, there is an increase in teacher discipline in terms of attendance, punctuality, and fulfillment of administrative and teaching duties. This study recommends strengthening leadership training programs for school principals to support the achievement of better work discipline in the school environment.
