Abstract

Cast concrete is very important in building physical buildings, both for the construction of houses, hotels, bridges, apartments and other physical buildings. The concrete cast material is the most chosen by the community in building buildings because it is easily formed according to the needs of construction and has a strong strength and is resistant to high temperatures. "Inventory is a component of material or finished product available in hand, waiting to be used or sold" (Groebner in Baroto, 2002: 52). Monitoring raw material inventory is a management function that is very important because inventory is a very large investment company, both in terms of value and future functions. So from that the company needs to implement planning regarding inventory control which estimates the accuracy between inputs into output and the accuracy of the quantity or volume of raw materials. In the real world there are many companies that have not noticed the importance of managing raw material inventories, this can be found in companies that experience excess raw materials in warehouses, as well as running out of raw materials. Monitoring inventory that is well implemented can trigger the success of a company in the production sector in a timely manner. In manufacturing companies often encountered a delay in the arrival of raw materials according to a predetermined schedule. This can create panic at the company's management if there is a stock out, where on the other hand the company must immediately fulfill the goods orders. Therefore, monitoring the availability of concrete cast materials is very important to support the smooth production and can avoid the vacuum of concrete cast material. If the availability of concrete cast raw materials does not monitor, it will cause difficulties in knowing whether or not there is still a concrete cast material to be produced. On this basis the author makes a monitoring system for the availability of concrete cast raw materials using the Market Basket Analysis method.

Abstract

Mikrokontroler adalah sebuah sistem komputer fungsional dalam sebuah chip. Di dalamnya terkandung sebuah inti prosesor, memori (sejumlah kecil RAM, memori program, atau keduanya), dan perlengkapan input output. Mikrokontroler merupakan komputer didalam chip yang digunakan untuk mengontrol peralatan elektronik, yang menekankan efisiensi dan efektifitas biaya. Mikrokontroler AVR merupakan salah satu jenis arsitektur mikrokontroler yang menjadi andalan Atmel. Arsitektur ini dirancang memiliki berbagai kelebihan dan merupakan penyempurnaan dari arsitektur mikrokontroler-mikrokontroler yang sudah ada. Pada pengaplikasian nya menggunakan beberapa hardware seperti DT Combo, Kabel USBasp dan papan LCD. Software yang akan digunakan Bascom versi demo, Bascom AVR, CVAVR 2.075 dan Proteus 8. Mikrokonktroler digunakan dalam produk dan alat yang dikendalikan secara automatis, seperti sistem kontrol mesin, remote controls, mesin kantor, peralatan rumah tangga, alat berat, dan sekolah. Pada sekolah dapat diterapkan seperti pada bell sekolah, informasi runing text, remote ac, mesin air dan lainnya. Ini sangat berguna menunjang salah satu penggunaan teknologi digital.Teknologi Digital adalah teknologi yang dilihat dari pengoperasionalannya tidak lagi banyak menggunakan tenaga manusia. Tetapi lebih cenderung pada sistem pengoprasian yang serba otomatis dan canggih dengan system komputeralisasi/format yang dapat dibaca oleh komputer.

Abstract

Library visit is an indicator of college academic literacy. The current problem was a decrease on the students’ visit and read at the library of STMIK Amik Riau. Based on the visit data in the library, there was a reduction of the students’ visit for each year, as well as books lent by the students has decreased significantly. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation between the library facilities and the library services on the students’ reading interest at the library of STMIK Amik Riau by using Panel Data. This study used qualitative and quantitative approach. The population of this study were the visitors at STMIK Amik Riau Library that chosen by using simple random sampling. The data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The method used to identify the interest on the students’ to read in the library was Panel Data regression. The procedures of this method were to determine the Panel Data Regression Model Estimation, the selection of Panel Data Regression Model (Estimated Technique) which includes the F Statistical Test (Chow Test), Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. Furthermore, conducted testing the Classical Assumptions (Multicollinearity and Heteroscedasticity) which includes the Multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, followed by a feasibility test (Goodness of Fit) with the F-test hypothesis and Partial t-test. The result of this study showed that there was a correlation between the library facilities and the library services on the students’ reading interest at library of STMIK Amik Riau.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly growing rapidly so that everyone cannot avoid these technological advances. The technology in question covers all aspects of life, therefore here we create an application that is expected to help the community in finding tenants for IOS-based services, with the aim of helping people who are difficult in terms of finding service providers who want to be hired to help with their daily homework day.

Abstract

A smart chair is a reflection smart chair that utilizes waste tires as an alternative to acupuncture. Smart chairs are designed for people who are phobic about acupuncture needles by replacing these needles with waste tires. Acupuncture smart chairs also make it easier for users without having to go to the acupuncture practice place. This smart chair is equipped with an application that is directly connected to android. The smart chair application is an android-based remote control where users can control the application remotely. However, this application has not been tested so it is not yet known how effective and efficient the use of the application is. Therefore, researchers would conduct testing by using the usability testing method. The usability testing method is a method carried out to measure the ease of the application that has been made. The analysis in this method used five evaluation components, namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. This research would make instruments based on usability testing and then distribute instruments to samples by using sampling techniques. The results of this study showed a variable learnability value was 65% while the efficiency variable got a value of 74%. In terms of memorability, its value was 59%, then the Errors variable value was 74%, and the last variable, namely satisfaction, reached a value of 74%.

Abstract

Polusi udara menjadi permasalahan besardisetiap kota besar yang disebabkan oleh zatpencemar. Zat pencemar yang menjadi tolakukur ukur untuk menentukan tingkat polusiudara adalah PM10 (Partikulat Matter),SO2(Sulfur), CO (Carbon Monoksida), O3(Ozon),dan NO2 (Nitrogen Oksida). Banyak cara yangtelah dilakukan untuk meneliti menentukankadar tingkat pencemaran udara, namun seringmenemui banyak kendala sehingga informasitentang tingkat polusi udara tidak tercapaidengan baik. Penelitian ini akan menerapkanFuzzy Logic dengan menggunakan metodetsukamoto utuk menentukan tingkat polusiudara, zat pencemar digunakan variabel input.Basis pengetahuan dibangun denganmenggunakan kaidah produksi (IF-Then). Firestrength yang diperoleh pada setiap aturanfuzzy untuk masing zat pencemar pada basispengetahuan, kemudian dikomposisikan denganmenggunakan rata – rata terbobot. Hasil rata –rata terbobot merupakan output dalammenentukan tingkat polusi udara

Abstract

Aplikasi Power Generation Transmition Geographic Information System (PGT GIS) adalah aplikasi yang dibuat oleh departemen PGT untuk membantu pekerjaan maintenence yakni dengan cara menemukan koordinat lokasi kerja, keberadaan pole (tiang listrik), memonitor pertumbuhan pohon tinggi di bawah powerline. Namun kenyataannya terdapat ketidakakuratan data yang ditampilkan pada aplikasi ini yang menyebabkan kinerja menjadi terganggu. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa terhadap sistem aplikasi GIS dan menganalisa seberapa besar pengaruh terhadap maintenence di PGT menggunakan metode PIECES yaitu: Performance, Informations and data, Economics, Control and security, Efficiency, dan  Service. Hasil dari penelitian  ini nantinya akan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa keunggulan atau kekuatan sistem yang dapat menunjang proses maintenence di perusahaan. Tetapi hasil penelitian ini  juga memperlihatkan kekurangan dan kelemahan sistem, sehingga sistem yang ada ini perlu adanya perbaikan ataupun penyempurnaan menuju ke arah yang lebih baik lagi

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has increased the use of Artificial Intelligence (hereafter, AI) applications to improve students’ English skills, especially in speaking skill. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of AI applications to improve the introvert students’ speaking ability. Pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design was utilized in this study. This study conducted with 85 introvert students from two universities in Riau, Indonesia chosen by using MBTI test and purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through the questionnaire and speaking test. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 25th version to find out the descriptive statistic, normality test, and paired sample t-test. This finding shed light AI applications were effective in improving the introvert students’ speaking ability. It was proved that the t-test was higher than the t-table value (12.8231.663) with the level of significance p0.05. In short, there was significant difference on the students’ speaking ability before and after using AI applications for English speaking practiced. In conclusion, AI applications can be implemented to improve university students’ speaking ability.
