Abstract

Cell breathing is variation of CDMA cell size depends upon the amount of traffic occurs within the cell. This work assume that the cell is in the ideal condition based on  the following assumptions,  each cell is completely isolated from the other cells, with the result that no intercell interference and signals from MS cause no interference within the cell. It makes no intracell interference occurs within the cell. In an ideal condition where is none of interference occurs, cell size and amount of users in a cell depend on several factors such as bitrate, required signal strength that MS must deliver to BS, voice activity factor, power control accuracy factor and Eb/It of the system. The result obtained by change the values of the parameters and based on the result obtained, the impact of the parameter to the cell size and amount of user in a cell could be recognized.

Abstract

Saat ini, seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan adanya kebutuhan sumber daya manusia dalam organisasi bisnis semakin meningkat. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat mendukung upaya optimasi dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan. PT. Qwords Company International sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang IT dan juga merupakan perusahaan yang sedang berkembang, saat ini proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawannya masih menggunakan metode manual dan juga menggunakan kertas. Hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan di antaranya, banyaknya data pelamar yang hilang atau rusak, dan menghabiskan cukup banyak waktu dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawannya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem informasi rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dan diagram Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya implementasi dari sistem informasi rekrutmen dan seleksi tersebut untuk dijadikan solusi dari permasalahan yang ada.

The technology in question covers all aspects of life, therefore here we create an application that is expected to help the community in finding tenants for IOS-based services, with the aim of helping people who are difficult in terms of finding service providers who want to be hired to help with their daily homework day.

Abstract

This study applies a design thinking methodology approach to redesign the user interface and user experience on the Telkom University Open Library website by considering the type of influence on personality. The influential personality type discussed in this study is the DISC model which describes individuals as friendly, warm, and highly socially skilled. The main goal of this redesign is to provide a comfortable and satisfying experience for Telkom University students, who have influential personality types when interacting with the Open Library website service. The design thinking method is applied through six main steps, which are; empathize, define, imagine, prototype, test and execute. Testing of proposed changes is done using two methods, namely usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Research results show that by taking into account the influencer's personality type and applying Gestalt principles and material design as design guides, the redesign successfully achieved the goal of meeting needs and increasing satisfaction of users with influencer personality types when using Telkom Open University. Abstract

Low solar energy conversion efficiency prevents the widespread of organic solar cells; hence, metal nanoparticles have been used to overcome this problem without increasing cell thickness. We investigated light absorption enhancement in view of the embedment of Ag:SiO2 core-shell nanoparticles of different shell thicknesses, core offsets, offset orientation angles, and vertical mismatches between neighboring particles. The simulations were carried out using the finite element method. This is the first investigation in the use of asymmetric nanoparticles. At optimized conditions, absorption enhancement up to 345% compared to the one without the nanoparticles could be achieved. The enhancement was found much higher than that of the published values. The enhancement results were mainly from the increase of near-field localization and scattering in the active layer of solar cells due to the excitation of Fano resonances. The resonance occurred due to the non-symmetric nature of the core-shell nanoparticles.

Abstract

The digitalization of healthcare services has transformed the Indonesian healthcare business, making health services more accessible. Digitalization improves medical services and outcomes. However, the academic community frequently encounters challenges when using Telkomedika services or getting information fast. As a result, further efforts are needed to ensure that the platform provides a seamless and efficient user experience. One area that can be improved is the user interface. A more engaging design can help users navigate the site more easily. This incorporates a cleaner, clearer layout and a responsive design, allowing consumers to use all Telkomedika functions with ease. This study used a design thinking technique to develop the user interface and experience for the Telkomedika application, taking into account the Influence personality type. According to the DISC model, this type identifies people who are outgoing, extroverted, and prefer broad social circles. According to the findings, this technique efficiently meets patients' demands and preferences, resulting in increased comfort and pleasure.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the importance of OHS in the manufacture field, especially considering the high number of work accidents reported by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This research aims to identify and assess the risk of hazards at PT Bumi Sarana Beton using Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Determining Control (HIRADC) and provide solutions to reduce work accidents. The HIRADC method is used to identify hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate controls in accordance with the AS/NZS 4360: 2004 standard. The results showed that the production work area has several high risks such as pinching, respiratory distress, and slipping. Effective risk control implementation is expected to improve work safety and productivity. These findings have important implications for the management of PT Bumi Sarana Beton to improve OHS policies and provide adequate training and protective equipment for workers. In addition, this research is also expected to be a reference for other industries in implementing OHS optimally to reduce the risk of work accidents and improve workers' welfare

Abstract

Pentingnya menjaga kondisi ruang transformator distribusi, terutama suhu dan kelembaban, sangat krusial karena ruangan ini menjadi titik sentral dari semua sistem listrik dalam gedung apartemen. Gangguan pada sistem distribusi listrik dapat menyebabkan gangguan serius seperti matinya peralatan listrik, masalah konektivitas internet, dan bahkan risiko kebakaran. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan rancangan sistem monitoring yang canggih dan berkelanjutan menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah alat yang mampu memonitor suhu dan kelembaban ruang transformator distribusi dengan presisi tinggi. Uji coba alat menggunakan IoT menunjukkan tingkat kesalahan pengukuran suhu rata-rata sebesar 0,18°C dan kelembaban sebesar 2,03%, membuatnya sangat dapat diandalkan. Meskipun terdapat faktor-faktor seperti fluktuasi beban daya transformator dan variasi suhu lingkungan yang tak terduga yang mempengaruhi pengukuran, toleransi kesalahan ini tetap dalam batas yang dapat diterima.
