Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial performance on stock returns of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2012–2023. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques based on specific criteria, resulting in 144 samples from 12 mining companies. Data analysis was conducted using panel regression with the help of Microsoft Excel and Eviews 12 software. The independent variables used in this study include Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin, and Earnings Per Share, while the dependent variable is Stock Return. The analysis results show that: (1) Current Ratio does not have a significant effect on Stock Return; (2) Debt to Equity Ratio does not have a significant effect on Stock Return; (3) Earnings Per Share does not have a significant effect on Stock Return; and (4) Net Profit Margin has a positive and significant effect on Stock Return. Further research is recommended to include additional variables and extend the research period to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

This community service (PkM) activity aims to increase the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the catering sector through training in making garnishes for tumpeng products. Attractive and aesthetic garnishes can add value to tumpeng products, attracting consumer attention and increasing sales. This training was designed using a participatory method, which involved imposing garnish-making techniques, direct practice, and evaluating participants' results. After participating in this activity, it is hoped that the MSME catering participants can apply creative garnishing techniques to their tumpeng products, thereby improving the quality of the product's appearance. Participants are also expected to have a deeper understanding of the importance of product visualization in increasing attractiveness and sales. The expected output from this PkM activity is that there will be an increase in the skills of the assisted MSMEs in making garnishes, an increase in the aesthetic value of tumpeng products, and an increase in product sales volume. Apart from that, this training can contribute to developing the local economy by increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan sampah plastik di wilayah perkotaan seperti Jakarta terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Jika tidak dikelola dengan baik, sampah plastik dapat mencemari lingkungan, menjadi tempat berkembang biaknya nyamuk Aedes aegypti, serta berkontribusi terhadap penyebaran penyakit seperti Demam Berdarah (DBD). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan ibu-ibu Komunitas Jumantik Kelurahan Palmeriam, Jakarta, dalam mengelola sampah plastik menjadi kerajinan tangan berupa bunga hias. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang bahaya sampah plastik, serta kemampuan mereka dalam menghasilkan berbagai jenis bunga dari plastik bekas, seperti bunga mawar, bunga anggrek, dan bunga lili. Selain memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan, kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang ekonomi kreatif bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu memadukan pendidikan lingkungan, kesehatan masyarakat, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis masyarakat

Abstract

Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in cases of fictitious investments, resulting in losses of trillions of rupiah, indicating low financial literacy. This study aims to develop an e-module to prevent fictitious investments and analyze its impact on students' understanding of financial management. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The subjects were 87 Economics students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through expert judgment validation and a pretest-posttest, then analyzed using a Paired T-Test. Expert judgment validation indicated the e-module was suitable for use, with an average score of 4.4 on a scale of 5. Effectiveness testing demonstrated a significant increase in financial management understanding, from a mean pretest score of 3.44 to a posttest score of 8.98 (p<0.05). The e-module's effectiveness is supported by three main factors: accessibility that allows for self-directed learning, interactivity through quizzes and case simulations, and contextuality using real-life case studies of fraudulent investments in Indonesia. The e-module to prevent fictitious investments proved effective in significantly improving students' understanding of financial management

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of Accounting Information Systems, Human Resources, and Leadership Style on the Effectiveness of Managerial Decision-Making in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a total of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Findings: The results indicate that Accounting Information Systems, Human Resources, and Leadership Style have a positive effect on the Effectiveness of Managerial Decision-Making. A well-functioning information system helps provide accurate and relevant data to support rational decision-making. High-quality human resources enhance analytical and interpretative abilities in the decision-making process. Meanwhile, visionary and participative leadership fosters a collaborative work environment that strengthens the effectiveness of managerial decisions. Research Implications: The success of decision-making in MSMEs depends not only on leadership capabilities but also on the support of reliable information systems and the competence of human resources. Therefore, improving managerial capacity in MSMEs should focus on strengthening information systems, developing human resource competencies, and applying adaptive leadership styles that respond to changes in the business environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how strong and significant the correlation test between the variables of literacy ability and happiness ranking of each country statistically. In this regard, the literacy and reading ability assessment conducted by PISA in 2018 showed that Indonesia was ranked 74 out of 79 countries. Lack of reading skills can lead to un-favorable effects in the future. Especially regarding aspects of human development, human resources and mental well-being. Previously, there were several studies that attempted to examine the correlation between reading proficiency and well-being. However, no one has yet used widely available secondary data. In particular, the first is for reading assessment data from PISA and second, the Happiness World Report, both of which were conducted in 2018. This study uses a quantitative method with statistical analysis of the spearman correlation. Then, as additional information, the researchers also looked at the results of the simple regression or R2 statistical test. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between reading proficiency and happiness. With a correlation level or R value of .479** (p<.001) and an R2 adjustment value of 0.209**. Thus, the researchers concluded that reading proficiency from PISA proved to be correlated with each country's happiness ranking with moderate strength.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Desa Mekarsari bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani kopi dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran produk mereka. Meskipun Desa Mekarsari dikenal sebagai penghasil kopi berkualitas tinggi, banyak petani menghadapi kesulitan dalam menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas akibat rendahnya literasi teknologi pemasaran digital. Program ini memfokuskan pada pelatihan visual storytelling yang mengajarkan petani cara menggunakan media video untuk memperkenalkan produk mereka secara lebih personal dan menarik, serta mengangkat narasi budaya yang terkandung dalam kopi Mekarsari. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan teknis dalam pembuatan video, tetapi juga membangun brand identity yang kuat, meningkatkan rasa kepemilikan dan kepercayaan diri petani dalam memasarkan produk mereka. Keberhasilan program ini tercermin dari penerbitan konten video naratif yang telah dipublikasikan di kanal YouTube @KopiGAIA, yang berfungsi sebagai alat promosi berkelanjutan, mampu menjangkau pasar lebih luas, dan membangun hubungan emosional dengan konsumen. Video ini juga menjamin transparansi kualitas kopi Java Preanger dari Desa Mekarsari. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model percontohan bagi petani kopi di kawasan Gunung Tilu dan membuka jalan bagi terciptanya ekosistem ekonomi desa yang lebih modern dan berdaya saing melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan menguji peran growth mindset sebagai prediktor digital well-being pada mahasiswa yang aktif mengikuti proses belajar mengajar di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Digital well-being dipahami sebagai pengalaman subjektif keseimbangan optimal antara manfaat dan kerugian yang diperoleh dari konektivitas digital, sementara growth mindset adalah keyakinan bahwa kecerdasan dan kemampuan dapat dikembangkan melalui usaha dan strategi belajar. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional non-eksperimental dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, melibatkan 125 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling. Pengukuran growth mindset menggunakan Growth Mindset Scale (8 item) dari Sigmundsson dan Haga (2024), sedangkan digital well-being diukur dengan skala adaptasi Arslankara et al. (2022) yang mencakup dimensi responsible, satisfaction, dan wellness (12 item). Analisis dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Spearman dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara growth mindset dan digital well-being (r = 0,459; p < 0,01), dengan korelasi terkuat pada dimensi satisfaction (r = 0,542; p < 0,01) dan dimensi responsible (r = 0,361; p < 0,01), sementara dimensi wellness tidak berkorelasi secara signifikan (r = 0,112; p > 0,05). Analisis regresi linear mengonfirmasi bahwa growth mindset memberikan kontribusi sebesar 28,3% (R² = 0,283; F = 30,771; p < 0,001) dalam memprediksi digital well-being. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keyakinan mahasiswa bahwa kemampuan mereka dapat berkembang berperan penting dalam mendorong pola penggunaan teknologi digital yang lebih sehat dan memuaskan. Implikasi penelitian menekankan urgensi integrasi pelatihan growth mindset ke dalam program literasi digital dan layanan bimbingan konseling di perguruan tinggi. Digital well-being is understood as the subjective experience of an optimal balance between the benefits and costs derived from digital connectivity, while growth mindset refers to the belief that intelligence and abilities can be developed through effort and appropriate learning strategies. This research employed a non-experimental quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach, involving 125 students selected through convenience sampling. Growth mindset was measured using the Growth Mindset Scale (8 items) developed by Sigmundsson and Haga (2024), while digital well-being was assessed through an adapted scale from Arslankara et al. (2022) comprising the responsible, satisfaction, and wellness dimensions (12 items). Data were analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation and simple linear regression. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between growth mindset and digital well-being (r = 0.459; p < 0.01), with the strongest correlations observed in the satisfaction dimension (r = 0.542; p < 0.01) and the responsible dimension (r = 0.361; p < 0.01), whereas the wellness dimension showed no significant association (r = 0.112; p > 0.05). Linear regression analysis confirmed that growth mindset contributed 28.3% (R² = 0.283; F = 30.771; p < 0.001) to the prediction of digital well-being. These findings indicate that students' belief that their abilities can be developed plays an important role in fostering healthier and more satisfying patterns of digital technology use. The study's implications underscore the urgency of integrating growth mindset training into digital literacy programs and guidance and counseling services in higher education. Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and risk tolerance among Indonesian university students. As generative AI tools became deeply embedded in students' academic and personal decision-making, understanding how different dimensions of AI literacy related to risk-taking dispositions became increasingly important. A correlational quantitative design was employed, involving 156 university students recruited through purposive sampling. AI literacy was measured using the seven-dimensional AI Literacy Scale developed by Nong et al. (2024), comprising application ability, morality, critical thinking, self-efficacy, cognitive ability, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. Risk tolerance was assessed using the Financial Risk Tolerance Scale developed by Grable and Lytton (1999). Spearman's rho correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between variables. The results revealed that only the perceived ease of use dimension was significantly and negatively correlated with risk tolerance (r = -0.326, p < 0.01), whereas the other six dimensions of AI literacy showed no significant correlation. These findings indicated that students who perceived AI tools as easier to use tended to display lower risk tolerance, suggesting that effortless interaction with AI may foster cognitive comfort that reduces willingness to engage with uncertainty. The study contributed to the AI literacy literature by demonstrating dimension-specific associations between AI literacy and a key psychological disposition. Penelitian ini menyelidiki hubungan antara literasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan toleransi risiko pada mahasiswa di Indonesia. Seiring dengan semakin tertanamnya alat AI generatif dalam pengambilan keputusan akademik dan personal mahasiswa, pemahaman tentang bagaimana berbagai dimensi literasi AI berkaitan dengan disposisi pengambilan risiko menjadi semakin penting. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 156 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Literasi AI diukur menggunakan AI Literacy Scale tujuh dimensi yang dikembangkan oleh Nong et al. (2024), terdiri dari application ability, morality, critical thinking, self-efficacy, cognitive ability, perceived ease of use, dan perceived usefulness. Toleransi risiko diukur menggunakan Financial Risk Tolerance Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Grable dan Lytton (1999). Analisis korelasi Spearman digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya dimensi perceived ease of use yang berkorelasi negatif signifikan dengan toleransi risiko (r = -0,234, p < 0,01), sedangkan enam dimensi literasi AI lainnya tidak berkorelasi signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa yang merasa alat AI lebih mudah digunakan cenderung memiliki toleransi risiko yang lebih rendah, menunjukkan bahwa interaksi yang mudah dengan AI dapat menumbuhkan kenyamanan kognitif yang menurunkan kesediaan menghadapi ketidakpastian.
