AbstractThis research was motivated by the demands of the 2013 curriculum where students are required to be able to think critically, so that a learning model was needed that can improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model to critical thinking skills of class XI IIS 2 Muhammadiyah Senior High School Pontianak. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach and a quasi experimental design method with the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and the sample in this study was a class XI IIS student of Muhammadiyah 2 High School Pontianak. The results of prettest and posttets analysis of data on sociology subjects in class XI IIS of Muhammadiyah 2 High School in Pontianak showed that 1) the Gain calculation results obtained increased by 16.53 points, between the matter of the pretest and Posttest. 2) the average result of the posttest question of the first meeting is 64.20 and the second meeting is 74.67. 3) the results of the percentage of completeness of students in working on the problem of the first posttest meeting 73% with 22 students completing from 30 students and the second meeting amounting to 90% with 27 students completed from 30 students. 4) the results of the Wilcoxon first meeting with a significance value of 0,000 and the second meeting with a significance value of 0,000, with a significance level of 0.05. AbstractThe title of this thesis is Sociology Teacher Skills in Opening and Closing Lessons to Improve Student Motivation in Class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sanggau District Hall. The general problem of this research is how sociology teacher skill in opening and closing lessons to improve student's learning motivation in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Balai. The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies, while data collection tools were observation guides, interview guides, and documentation studies. The results of the research (1) The sociology teacher's skill in opening lessons with the components include: attracting students' attention, generating motivation, giving reference, and making the relation / material relationship with good criteria. (2) The sociology teacher's skill in closing the lesson with the components of making conclusions, evaluating, and providing homework with good criteria. (3) Student learning motivation has increased with indicators that are diligently facing the task, tenacious face difficulties and prefer to work independently with good criteria.Keywords: Skills, Opening and Closing Lessons, Learning Motivation

AbstractThe title of this article is “Solidarity Between Student Who Lived In Rusunawa University of Tanjungpura”. The general problem of this research is “how solidarity among student from the rusunawa of University of Tanjungpura?”. Based on the general problem is then presented into sub problem is then presented into sub problems as follows: 1. How the mechanical soidarity among student from the rusunawa of university Tanjungpura? 2. How is organic solidarity among student from the rusunawa of university Tanjungpura? Based on observations and interviews of researchers in the field in general 1. Mchanical solidarity between student who live in subsidized apartments already well established, it appears they help each other in many ways, one of them at a time of their friends who are sick , they immeediately helped. 2. Organic solidarity among student who live in subssidized apartments university of Tanjungpura, has not been well established, most of them do not carry out activities that have been given the rusunawa they have no interest to the interdependence that can form organic solidarity.Keywords: Solidarity, Student, Occupants Rusunawa

AbstractThis study aimed to find out the general problems in this study, namely How Implementation of Discipline Enforcement in the Sociology Learning Process in Class XI IPS 2 of SMAK Abdiwacana Pontianak, with sub-problems: 1) How is the Implementation of Enforcement of Time Discipline? 2) How is the Implementation of Enforcement Discipline Enforcing Rules? 3) How is the Implementation of Attitude Discipline Implemented? 4) How is the Implementation of Discipline Enforcement of Worshiping? The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. The results of this study are the implementation of time discipline enforcement carried out by teachers based on special rules following sociology learning. Implementation of enforcement of discipline enforces rules is carried out by the teacher if the student concerned is proven to violate the rules agreed upon beforehand, students will be given notice, reprimand, warning and even punishment. Implementation of attitude discipline enforcement is carried out by the teacher if students do not comply with the applicable rules. The rules are made so that students are accustomed to discipline and forming strong and resilient student behaviors. The implementation of disciplinary enforcement in carrying out worship is carried out by the teacher by telling students to lead praying together before the learning process begins. AbstractThis article is entitled "The Efforts of the Pontianak City IPMDK Organizational Management Association in Building Mechanic Solidarity". The general problem in this research is "How are the Efforts of the Management of the Pontianak City IPMDK Organization Management in Building Mechanic Solidarity?". The general objective of this research is "To find out the form of division of labor, collective awareness and reprensive law that exists in the IPMDK organization in Pontianak City and the efforts of the management in building mechanical solidarity". The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interview guidelines, and documentation. Sources of data in this study are the Chairperson and Secretary and members of the IPMDK. The results of this study indicate the efforts of the management of the Pontianak City IPMDK Organization in Building Mechanic Solidarity, in the form of division of labor, collective awareness and repressive law.Keywords: Organizational Management Efforts, Mechanical Solidarity

ABSTRACTThe goal of this research was to know the associative social interaction in forms of cooperation and accommodation of arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District. The method used was qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection tools were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The data analysis techniques used were datareduction, data presentation, decision making, and verification. The results were (1) the associative social interaction in form of the traditional cooperation in arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District, was evident in M. Amin, Saleh, Ruslan, Sunardi and Syah Bandi who helped each other in theprocess of fishing in other areas in Kapuas Hulu, in the process of marketing fish to costumers in several areas, in the process of fish packaging ordered by customers in Pontianak, in the process of delivering fish to Pontianak, in the process of arowana fish contest at PCC building in Pontianak; (2) the associative social interaction in form of thecompromise accommodation in arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District, was proven in Ruslan and Sunardi in finding solutions to their entrepreneurship problems through discussion.Keywords:Arowana Fish Entrepreneur, Social Interaction.

AbstractThe title of the thesis is "the role of the parents in raising children's education in the village of piasak sub-district of lower selimbau". 1) how is the role of parents as a motivator in improving education in the village of piasak sub-district of lower selimbau. 2) how is the role of parents as a facilitator in improving education in the village of piasak sub-district of lower selimbau. 3) how is the role of parents as mediators in improving the education of children in the village of piasak sub-district of lower selimbau. This research uses qualitative research methods in the form of a descriptive. Data collection tools using the guidelines of observation, interview and documentation study guidelines. The research results show (1) the existence of Already there is the role of parents in the form of home study guide. (2) it is proved with the granting of facilities to children as special study room at home and place store school supplies. (3) it is proven by parents who have always been a medium of communication and interaction in the Guide and teach children. Key words: the role of parents, child's education

AbstractThis thesis was entitled Analysis the Impact of Social Change with the Existence of PT. Citra Mahkota in the Nangka Batas Village Melawi Regency. The research method used was descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. Data collection was done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data sources used was primary and secondary data sources. The data obtained comes from documentation, observation and interviews. The results of this research proved that: There were positive and negative impacts of planned social changes in the past and present with the existence of PT. Citra Mahkota. The positive impact was previously in the Batas Nangka village, there was no connecting road to the village around and now there was a connecting road to the surrounding village. What used to be a very minimal community economy but at present the community's economy has increased. What used to be the working community as a shifting farmer was now switching they work in oil palm plantations, which had a negative effect because the work system of the community was more individual. The negative impact of unplanned social change was that the presence of oil palm plantations in the Batas Nangka village often suffers from drought due to oil palm trees that absorb a lot of water. Abstrack The purposes of this study were to find out the reason of school –aged beggars in doing begging activities, the way they did begging, and their daily activities for they were not going to school as they should. This research used descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subject of this research were school-aged beggars who did begging activities in nusa indah III, Pontianak City. Tools of data collection in this research were observation guides, interview, and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that (1) the main reason of school-aged beggars doing begging activities was to earn money, so they could help their parents to fulfill the family’s needs. (2) School-aged beggars used techniques of pity in order to take advantages of people’s compassion so they were willing to give them money. (3) It was alsoproved that school-aged beggars, who did begging activities every day without any other activities, tend to have negative mindset.Keywords : school-aged beggars, educatinal sosiology perspective

AbstractThis study aims to examine how religious tolerance among members of the Himsos FKIP Untan. What is examined in this study is how the attitude of religious tolerance among members of Himsos FKIP Untan in the form of (1) tolerance attitude respecting other religions and (2) tolerance attitude in providing opportunities for religious practices of other religions. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview and documentation study. Data collection tools used are observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The steps of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation and verification. Data validity by testing the credibility includes triangulation of techniques by checking the data at the same source with different techniques. The results of the study prove that tolerance in respecting beliefs among members of Himsos is well established and tolerance in giving opportunities for other religious worship practices is also goodKeywords : Attitude, Himsos, Religious Tolerance
